In my opinion not only is he an expert in bankruptcy, he is one of the best family law attorneys in midland. 100 recommend him! And he is also bilingual which is a HUGE plus in this city! If you want an attorney that will truly fight for you and your family, Alvaro is the way to go!

The worst experience ever! Was treated as if I was some second class citizen with no dignity!! Was given a set amount of money I had to come up with to bond a loved one out of jail. Then given a different higher amount of money . After notifying incarcerated family member that they would be released that evening and after taking our money messing with all our emotions and waisting our time, he pulled the bond. For no other reason but power trip.

Mr Martinez is rude , not professional , did not introduce himself makes you feel stupid and I did see that in someone reviews, just seems mad telling me my 18 who just started working is not cutting it really , and also judgmental not a good lawyer we come to him for help or advice not to be talk down on

I would like to say that this lawyer DID NOT represent me in my case well at all. He never showed up in court, told me that I needed to fill out of own paperwork, yelled at me when I was concerned about anything to do with my case, and overall never took anything serious on my behalf. He filed me for bankruptcy multiple times when that is not what would benefit me. I even got declined and he would apply me again! I lost my trucks, many opportunities for financial growth and improvement. Over $140k worth of my money and property LOST. He was not professional at all, I have text messages and paperwork to prove so. if I could give zero stars I would. The STRESS and ANGER this has caused me for SO LONG cannot be described in words . I encourage anybody to step forward who has the same problems as me because this is out of hand. I will be contacting the Texas Board of Lawyers and State Bar of Texas to file my complaint. The staff is unprofessional and disorganized. But they were all young and pretty. The lawyer talks down to you. He texted me that he didnt have time to go through the documents I had provided (that his staff requested) and that I should do my homework. Excuse me, but thats what HE gets paid to do. One of the worst experiences I have had in years. DO NOT GO HERE.

I found Mr. Alvaro Martinez to be a very helpful and competent attorney. I went to him at a very difficult time and he gave me good advice and his services were excellent. He always made all of our appointments on time and explained my options well. He was willing to take whatever time was needed to be sure I understood the legal implications of my decisions. He failed to show up not once but twice to court. He has an incredibly false sense of self. He goes out of his way to make people feel stupid. The purest sign of someone with incredibly low self esteem. He did nothing for me. Did little to nothing to represent me. He continually asked the same question and accused me of not providing answers when in actuality he just didnt like it. He refused to give me any refund even though he provided nothing. He cares none and represents little. I challenge more folks to write a review. Surely me and the other person who wrote one are not the only ones hes wronged.

Had an appointment with him to discuss what we wanted to file and right when he started asking questions he was VERY rude!!! Every question we asked he answered with a smart remark and as if we were stupid. I told him sir we are asking questions cause we dont know theres no reason to be rude. Then he started saying how he got chewed out the day before by a trustee and how they were getting very strict and blah blah blah. That was no excuse to treat us the way he did!!!! It was as if he was taking his frustration out on us and we were NOT going to deal with a lawyer like that!!!
