8/2024: it keeps getting better! The food is great and the people are too! If you like karaoke they do it in Friday and Saturday night! 5/2023 update: still great food and service you will not be disappointed! 2021:Great food and service! I always enjoy the food. We get to to go and live the food. Form the tacos to the papusas, the whole grilled chicken and the coleslaw, it is all good. Try the torts while you are at it. Always polite and quick. The food is fresh and tasty!

Check this place out. The Salvadoran food is chips & salsa served with black bean dip. Super cute inside. Tvs with sports on. Service was great. Ac and fans on blast very important when dining in Texas. Large variety to pick from. I was impressed. Best place I have found in Mesquite to eat at. We will be back.

To be honest this might be a spot to have drinks with friends or your lover .. but not for kids ... they also have karaoke.. its a small spot not to much tables. they have a bar.. make sure you request your food hot not cold ..

Great place to go and eat. They almost have everything you can think of. Mexican, American, Salvadorian... The list goes on. Ive tried Mexican dishes here, Ive had fried wings here, margaritas, Philly cheese steaks, spaghetti, catfish, rotisserie chicken and whole lots more. All of it tastes great and I would encourage everyone to try this place. The owner is amazing and always accommodating with outstanding food! Great place to eat!

This was our 2nd time eating from Here, QST time we order out and brought it home but today, My husband and I sat down to eat lunch... the sever/bar tender was really nice and greeted us when we walked in. Staff was very friendly, got a sample of one kf the drinks with rum, it was delicious! The pineapple added the right amount of acidity to brighten the drink up. There is also complementary chips which were good. We had a rotisserie chicken taco, papusa, and a torta sandwich. The papusas and tortas were larger portions than we expected, which was a plus. Definitely left feeling very full for about $20 for 2 people. Oh and the steak in the tortas was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place

This place has good tacos not the best in dallas but by far the best in mesquite. Giving 2 stars because I witnessed the cooks placing priority over Mexican ppl orders. Long as you are Mexican/Hispanic race this place will take care of you and make your food right. If you are white/black or anything other than Mexican be prepared to wait and get over charged

The food had so much flavor. We ordered the rotisserie chicken which had an amazing tender juicy marinade! The fajita meat was very tender! The birria tacos were full of flavor as well! They bring you chips with salsa and black bean dip that is delicious! We will definitely be back soon and we will be telling everyone to give this place a try. The food is full of latin flavors that makes you feel like your eating at your relatives home!

They were a vendor at WMHS Hispanuc Heritage Festival. The very next day we had to get more because it was all we could think about eating. We had the pork/cheese pupusas platter (not on menu: 3 pupusas, refried pinto beans, rice) served with the slaw and sauce. Everything is perfectly seasoned, no need to add extra salt or pepper. If you sit down, they bring out cantina-style tortilla chips and salsa, and refried black beans. Need to come back and try the rest of the menu. Mexican/El Salvadoran fusion cuisine.

Tasty Chicken was a vender at one of the high schools in Mesquite (West) for Mexican Heritage Month. I was in the area and spotted this restaurant across the street. I absolutely love tacos and I was not disappointed. I ordered 2 steak tacos on corn shell (no onions). It was cooked fresh to order. I drive all the way across town just to go to this exact location I live over here by la Prada. They have the best pupusas and birria tacos it is kind of pricey but its definitely worth it. I love this place! They are so hospitable and have a wide variety menu, I ve switched up and everything I ve tried is amazinggg! I ve had a sub sandwich, Mexican tacos, catfish and wings and all were equally good! Not just Mexican or American food they thrive in any area which I m always sketchy about. I had a craving for chicken wings all week but refused to settle for any from a grocery store deli, wing slop, Buffalo wack wings or any other chain. I wanted homestyle, juicy tender brined or marinated golden brown chicken wings....where do you get those right! besides making them yourself.....I called 20 times while in route and kept getting a busy signal by the time I looked up, I was there. I didnt know the wings would be whole wings, but after all that, I ordered 5. The wings themselves after the 25 minute wait were definitely medicore at best. They were properly cooked, but lacked flavor!!! I mean nothing, even the mang habanero that partially covered the wings was thin and flavorless. The skin wasnt crispy and the chicken didnt snap apart right. I would have had them cook another 5 or more minutes had I known. Wasnt terrible, but wasnt a choice I would make,,,, ever again.

I will say Tasty Chicken and Wings is by far the best! Fresh food, fresh . I visited 4/23/22 had the nachos and my guy had the Barria tacos with fresh mango marharitas!!! It was very very good. Try it try it!. They have good street tacos and wings are good too.

Yes, this place is great! Selection of numerous Latin foods from various countries. All comfort food based, so no elegant sit down service. However, staff is super customer service friendly and the selections are great. Portion sizes depends on what youre ordering.
