Horrible experience! I used to eat here all the time, NOT ANYMORE. I found not 1 but 3 hairs in my family meal. I also found a knat fried into my fish. I called the manager who name is supposedly Ana and she did not accommodate me AT ALL. Told me to drive all the way back up there for a refund, which I shouldnt have to waste gas and time going back up there because of THEIR uncleanliness. So- called manager was very rude. Do not eat at this location its absolutely disgusting!

Cashier young man Hispanic with a bearded had horrible customer service. Took my order responded is that mmm aight then when at the window to pay no acknowledgment gave me my total I paid handed me my change. Tells me park around to left, when I did park the sweetest young lady came out handed me my food amazing service with her but that guy gives ur restaurant a totally bad vibe. Whoever is training, your employees needs to do a better job on customer service. Customer service is the key to a successful business so to that young lady, thank you so much. I will not be returning to long John Silvers s in the Mesquite location ever again.

The food was horrible I ordered three of the platters with the two-piece fish and the eight shrimp and the sides sides. The fish was hard as hell The taste ugh! it did not even taste like fish the shrimp the same it was horrible. The fries were like waffle fries but I used them to knock on wood with them they were so hard it was really bad. I called and spoke with the manager on the phone and all they could do was apologize for the service and that was about it very bad experience.

Why would they give me 5 fries. The tenders were tiny and it wasnt worth all the money I paid. I paid for a 3 pc with DOUBLE FRIES. The only reason I did not go back around is because the line was so long. Very disappointed. I love the food but they skimp you $13 for a meal you should be able to get full.

Unfortunately Long John Silvers are starting to disappear they are Closing one by one, this is one of the few left that I know of in the Dallas area. The food and the service were very good. However, the dining room itself is showing its age and needs corrective updating. The old dining room wont keep me from going there when I get my craving for Long John Silvers though.

Ordered extra 2 pieces of fish, but she didnt hear me. Had to wait 25 minutes for food to find out she didnt get the extra. When I asked her she was very cold and didnt care anything about making it right. She just said have a nice day. So even though I was mad and spent way too much time here I decided to go back through the drive through again first order was drive through as well, to get the extra food I had now asked for 2 times. Customer service training and more staff to work there is definitely needed!!!

The employees here are usually really fun. They have great people skills. + As far as I can tell they get along. I mean the food is what you expect from Long. This place has been in Mesquite for years. I remember going when it first opened. It also has not been updated since it first opened either. It needs a huge makeover. It is clean . I think . To hard to tell though with the dark lights . But the staff was super friendly and made sure there were no dirty tables.

They were short staffed today, but they still did well. The food was hot and fresh. I had to circle back for an additional piece of fish for my picky eating grandson. I havent had Long John Silvers in years. Had it tonight and was disappointed. Not only has the tartar sauce changed to water down packets with no flavor. But the chicken planks were dry and hard/ like rubber. No crispy bits underneath the fish & chicken like the good old days. Guess no need to return.

Super expensive! Cost me $17 for a chicken meal, medium drink, and an extra Coleslaw. When I got it home and opened it, it was 3 very small pieces of chicken that would have equaled 1 piece of chicken if you put them all together.

Ordered over $50 worth of food, at the drive-thru they told me to pull around front. I ordered extra shrimp and told them I needed lots of cocktail sauce. After waiting outside for 15 minutes they brought my food and said they was out of cocktail sauce. If they would have told me that at the window I would have ordered something different. I get there and was told there manager is at the bank and waiting for 120 minutes and they cant open for inside dining with the manager there. This is ridiculous so I left and went to Five Guys instead This time they are not even open for dine in which they dont put on there Google Maps under updates. Sign on the side of the building says closed for remodeling and the sign on the door says closed inside due to short staff you can use the drive thru. I called 4 times and no answer at all

Horrible, we ordered #1 A&W Combo and # Long John Silver 2 fish combo the fish was kinda greasy so I asked for napkins they only gave me 2. They said they were only following cheap owners instructions. But 5 minutes later one of the workers got off her shift and had 4 or 5 orders with her. No wonder the owner is going broke ! Food

Tried this place again today. Terrible. Waited for 10 minutes at the window for my food and assumed they were cooking it. The place was pretty full. Pulled over in the parking lot to eat it and the fish and shrimp was cold. Tasted like it had been made early that morning. Fish was extremely greasy. LJS used to be so good back in the day. They dont sell cod anymore. Its all pollock. Wont be back.

Not trying to bash this place but the food wasnt good. Had a bacon cheeseburger combo and fried shrimp. The shrimp was undercooked and the batter was mushy inside. Burger was dry and left an unpleasant lingering taste. They did remake my shrimp but my wife was also unhappy with her food as well. The guy at the register was nice, but the food was not
