Other than Dr. T. All the rest of the staff do not seem passionate or caring about the work they do. I do like the nurse Montaga though. She was caring, personal, and remembered me from my last visit. The front staff is not welcoming at all. They need a whole new staff because the place did not feel welcoming nor was I greeted upon arrival. No one was. At checkout, the older lady at the window was clueless about scheduling my next vaccination visit, and didn t even get up to check or communicate to find out when I should return. I had to walk her through and help her figure out when to schedule me correctly. Please fix the attitudes at the front and learn how to communicate better between one another. As a patient, we all should have a pleasant experience.

When you try to schedule an appointment for a new pt don t bother if it s more then 2 weeks out. They will tell you need to call back in a week because corporate doesn t allow them. And the person was rude who answered the phone also. Not very good patient care. I also work in health care and we do not do this to our patients. Sometimes you book way out so how can you even do this???

Today was my first time at this clinic and my experience was EXCEPTIONAL!!! From the moment I walked in the door the staff was PHENOMENAL! The woman who took my insurance card and id was friendly, efficient and fast! She didn t make me feel as if I were rushing but she was EXCELLENT at her job! The nurse who called me back was friendly and inviting! As she gathered my medical history she made me feel completely at ease! My APRN Latonia Shaw is a FANTASTIC , KNOWLEDGEABLE and friendly. She didn t make me feel as if I were being rushed, she provided a thorough examination and I felt so comfortable with her! Now to the hard part at least for me! I am a very hard stick when it comes to having my blood drawn. However, the lab tech was by far the BEST I have ever had! She stuck me one time and the blood started flowing immediately! Today was THE ABSOLUTE BEST experience I ve had when dealing with ANY doctor s office! THANK YOU for my my day great!

I took my elderly mother to see her primary care physician, Dr. Alan Kenney. He and all the staff Ive encountered are everything I want in medical care givers. They are attentive to everything she says. Dr Kenney, strives to take care of her. I also like the way he spells his name.

Love coming here! Everyone is so kind. I love Wendy she always answered my questions and calms my nerves. I love the app and LOVE that I can see my lab results on there/ message Wendy with any questions that I have.

Making appointments is so easy either on the phone or on the app. Everyone who works there is professional and kind. PA Wendy Fasano is the best! (However, I am biased because she is who I see lol) But they are fast and efficient, and you do not wait a long time ever to see anyone. Even getting labs done is great, every person I ve met there does a great job and despite my fear of needles, I always leave with a smile. Thank you all!

Not a Family Care office. Made an appointment, when through all their online paperwork and questionnaires. Arrived to my appointment to be told they won t see me because I have my 1 year old daughter in a stroller with me. They don t allow anyone under 16 in the building. Seems odd for a family care office. No where in the paperwork or texts I received prior to my appointment said this. They only mentioned no more than 2 people with you.

Doctor Miller is amazing as well as the front office staff. My only issue was the temp Phlebotomist Edwina who was very rude after she had to repeat my name as the first time she said she botched it completely and I didnt fully understand her. Also she had music playing in the room and I asked a question only to have it addressed after repeatedly asking her two additional times. Everyone is great, but hopefully she is just a temp becsuse her alone would make me want to look for a different doctor.

Our doctor Mrs Martinez nurse practitioner is amazing, great no complaints there the receptionist is where I am writing the negative review here, as you enter the lobby it is like night and day with the two receptionist the one on the right very nice very willing to help the one on the left has an attitude and very unwilling to handle people correctly over the phone as I have learned I have checked out other reviews on this previously the posting this and I ve seen similar comments . It s unfortunate that one bad apple makes the whole organization look bad but I am willing to say that the clinic itself is a good facility minus the one receptionist on the left.

Set up an appt for both of my children just to show up at their scheduled appt to be told that they do not see children their age. A phone call from anyone stating that they do not see children under 16 of age would have been great. Definitely time wasted on both ends.

I can t thank this office, staff & Doctor Kenney enough. I saw some reviews & was a bit nervous before my appointment. Walking in, I was greeted so nicely by the front desk lady. She was patient & she helped me through everything. I left my card at home & she went out of her way by typing my card number for copay. I was called in 30 of me being there (I was a new patient so I had to do alot of paper work.) that was the fasted I ve ever been called. The nurse that took me back made me feel so comfortable. Mind you, I always avoid going to the doctors but she was amazing. In literally 10 min or even less the doctor came in. I told him all of my concerns, we talked & he walked me to get my labs done. Then, the man that took my lab work; omg... he was so fun!!! I could ve stayed talking to him. He was super friendly. How did he make it not hurt?! lol He made sure I was taken care properly. They took exactly 24hrs to have my results!!! Everywhere I go it takes them forever & they dont call. This office called me & explained my results. The doctor was such a sweet man! The office is spotless, very clean....I saw some nurses wiping down counters after each person. Even over heard a staff member telling someone to make sure they check their temperature before they clocked in. I loved that. Definitely will be coming back to this office! I have found my new family practice!!!

It s a waste of time taking off from work and going to see my doctor. They are so quick to collect payment. Once I get to the back I m out in less than 5 minutes. No knowledge about what s going on or anything. I feel like I went to give away free money with nothing in return. I will be changing my doctor this is the 2nd time this has happened to me.

I have been a patient at Texas Health Family Care at Mesquite for a long time. While I have no issues with the doctors the front desk staff members are horrible at their customer service. Texas health advocates that it is their pleasure serving the customers I do not see any pleasure in any of these employees at least to do their basic job. Their non verbal cues, cadence and very approach is not customer friendly. If they work for a local car dealership they will be fired on the spot. They need extensive training and some sympathy and empathy towards the patients who are suffering. I had lot of issues with these people just recently I requested my medical records for the last eight months which may consist of 5-6 pages they told me it is going to take two weeks to sent it. In spite of my request for urgency they were very adamant, rude and unsympathetic. I tried to call the patient advocate number and none of them works. The grievance department is not in existence at least when I tried. The list goes on...............................

This s a horrible place to go for Medical Care. They have clueless incompetent staff and the Doctors are mechanical. They require you to take unnecessary tests and will trick you into believing it is covered. They do not get back with you on results and referrals never happen. SHAME ON YOU!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Office Manager...feel free to contact me if you want to have a discussion about your improper practices. I am filing a complaint with the Texas Medical Board & The Texas Department of Insurance.

I never received a call back with my results, even after the doctor verbally told me she will be giving me a call. Ended up reaching out to them to only be EXTREMLY DISAPPOINTED after the call. Being told that my lab work was basically trashed and never sent out for futher testing. I will NEVER visit this office again. How can they simply trash lab work that was supposed to be sent out for further testing and leave the patient without any instructions on what they can do to help. They sure can send you a BILL on the charges you owe after not even fully completing their JOB, seems like they won t forget that part.

I just went here tonight for my 5 year old. They are under new management, now they are City something. The staff memeber, the guy that checks you in is unprofessional. I m never returning here. He kept Id until I checked out. Then after me telling him my sons insurance he said nothing until after we checked out about them no longer accepting the insurance he has.

I do not understand this office. They consistently run late on appointments. My appointment time was 9:40, its 10:40 and Im still sitting in the waiting room. I love my Doctor, but my time is as valuable as is theirs. I came back to this office after leaving years ago. This was how the office was run when I left. I may be going elsewhere again.

The wait time isn t that bad. One of the receptionist keeps an attitude. They won t offer services if they feel like it s too much for them to handle ie blood work to monitor organs for potential damage due to the medications that I m taking. They always refer you out so there s no point in even going. I told them I have a mental disorder and they sent me a letter stating that they can no longer service me because of trust issues. That s not the kind of physician you want to have

Worst Doctors office in the City, unfriendly receptionists and appointments are never on time. Expect to wait at least 30 minutes past your appointment, possibly longer
