Great park to walk around and take kids to the playground. I went early in the morning on Saturday and felt safe. It was 8 am and there were already a handful of people walking. Looking forward to visiting again.

What is the point of having big fields if you have signs saying you ll fine them for people using them? No wonder kids stay indoors playing video games because no park in mesquite allows the usage of it unless you re paying the greedy soccer association. How is it a public park but limit the usage of it because you don t want to use the taxes we pay on them?

Is this park a Catch and Release Only park? I have NOT seen any signs saying that its only Only Catch and Release. Someone please get a picture of the sign stating that and post it here in the reviews? Awesome day today. Went fishing and had fun. Caught a legal sized bass while there on a Heddon Tiny Torpedo.

This is a wonderful place to fish (catch and release) in the stock ponds, run or walk or just sit and watch the ducks. The grounds are maintained relatively well. There are restrooms, a playground area, a covered pavilion, sports fields, walking trails, location markers and benches along the trail. The only downside is I dont see markers that indicate the distance walked and that may be because there are so many points that you can start from perhaps this makes it difficult however the workaround for that would be to designate for walkers a starting point. The park seems to be well laid out. Playground: There are jungle Jims, slides and swings. Toilets: The restrooms while not completely tidy were clean enough. Dog-friendliness: The park is dog friendly Picnic area: There is a covered pavilion area with tables and benches and restrooms

Beautiful park, However, people throw parties there, and the same people in the parties throw trash everywher, let they kids do #1 and #2 on the playground. Its disgusting. Its sad how some people can be like that. It destroys the experience for everyone else. Its not the first time i have seen it happen. Playground: Don let your kids slide or play there until you check it. It often has urine and excrement from people who throw parties there.

Gorgeous, spacious park with something for everyone. There is a slightly long walk from the parking lot to the playground. We loved adventuring on the playground, walking around the trail & watching the ducks, birds & turtles in the pond. We love that the playground is under cover, offering shade from the sun. The pavilion is the perfect size for a gathering.

Took my littles here after school. There were a ton of kids there to play with. We took a lovely, scenic stroll around the pond and saw the ducks before heading home. Playground: There are two jungle gyms, one with a rope climbing course, and a swing set. Toilets: There are two restrooms for public use under a pavilion with picnic benches. Dog-friendliness: There were quite a few people walking their dogs. Picnic area: The picnic area is under a pavilion next to the restrooms.

It s a pretty spacious park. It s clean most of the time, but when it s dirty, it s VERY dirty. I always pick up trash when I see it because it s dangerous for the animals in the park. Besides that, it s my favorite park to go to.

Very nice park to go with the family, especially with children. The play area is spacious and has several games for small and big children. I liked that the area has a very nice view of the 2 ponds and fields. Very good place to go exercise, hang out, chat, and for children and adults to have fun! Playground: Very nice play area. The games are for various ages from simpler and safer games for the little ones to bigger and more risky ones for the older ones. Very well maintained with shade and seating area!
