WARNING READ!!!! How this restaurant even still operates is mind blowing. From personal experience and now seeing all these bug issue reviews, why didn t I look at the reviews first? I normally always check, I don t know why I trusted this place. My family and i will never go here again. Inspection has failed, but Health and human services will be aware of this trust and believe. I know the owner/ manager has seen these reviews, it seems nothing has been done. YOU GUYS ARE DISGUSTING.

Delicious! I have eaten both in the restaurant and via online order for pickup...ate my food so fast each time that I forgot to take a picture! Had lunch there on a Friday afternoon and received excellent service. The staff was highly attentive and helpful. Spice level was on point. Panang curry is A+! Cant wait to go back! I am a noodle wave regular. I ve seen this restaurant grow in front of my own eyes. So when I go and try A Noodle Wave rests I immediately expect the food to be the delicious flavorful food that they have always maintained. Unfortunately, the McKinney location is basically a knock off Noodle wave. The food that we ve always had me and my husband was awful and so bland. They need to make sure to give their chefs a proper training to uphold the reputation from other locations. (The Richardson is the best location)

This place used to be great but lately idk what s been going on with both, their service and their quality of food have gone down hill once we went the AC was out and flies flying around, then another time we went the food was uncooked and unseasoned, and this time I picked the food up and took it home only to touch up on what they slacked on and then to find that there was an exoskeletal shell of a cockroach in the chicken sirarcha . THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND AS YOU SEE IN OTHER REVIEWS THEY WENT THROUGH SIMILAR ISSUES. That food went straight to trash and NEVER again, this place needs to be inspected

I had a disappointing experience at Noodle Wave that I feel compelled to share. During my recent visit, I discovered a fly in my food, and disturbingly, it appeared to have been fried along with the dish. This was not only disgusting but also raised serious concerns about the restaurants overall hygiene and food safety practices. The sight of the fly completely ruined my appetite and left me feeling uneasy about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Such a lapse in hygiene is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment. I am deeply disappointed and would strongly advise others to avoid Noodle Wave until they address these serious issues.

Its nice small restaurant, taste is good. You get peanut soup as a compliment, which not many thai restaurants do. We ordered vegetable spring noodles, green curry with tofu and extra rice. We were in the area, and it was pretty close to the McKinney ISD stadium. Now I LOVE a good pad thai and THIS PLACE. AMAZING. it has to be ranked pretty high for my taste. Not only was the food amazing, but the thai tea was also fantastic. Last but certainly not least, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Very clean, friendly, and inviting to all. The decor was perfect and even in the bathroom it was nice. Of all the places! I would definitely recommend it, and if Im in the area, I will definitely be back!

Update july 17/24: dropped stars from 3 to 1 Visited today for dinner, food was good but service was not at all good. Our server CRYSTAL handed over our bill in midst of our dinner. We were going to order more food, but unfortunately due to her behavior, we didn t continue with our dinner. We dont expect such behavior, as it feels disrespectful. This was our fav place but We will not be patronizing this establishment going forward. Thank you Old review: Visited this place today, first thing what i noticed was it was almost full on a Wednesday night, which is a good sign.. We ordered chk dumpling and herbal chicken fried rice. The quantity of the food is less, food is pricey.. flavor was good, fried rice was good but had too many curry leaves which overtook the flavor completely. Will definitely give one more try.. but for now its 3 stars from me..

Started with a complementary hot and sour soup. It was really good. Had a little spice to it. Id prefer a little spicier but I think its a good level for the everyday person. Main course was Pineapple Fried Rice. Order level 5 spice again not enough spice for me personally but I believe it was good for normal people. Chicken was not very seasoned for did not take away from the dish as the rest of the flavors paired well. Had a perfect veggie to rice ratio as well. They did bring 3 options to add spice for my crazy liking. Didnt reach the desired level but I dont fault them for it as Im sure I killed my tongue years ago. The restaurant is smaller but nice setup with enjoyable music. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Azher waited on me today and again cant say enough about the experience. Will be coming back.

I have been on an Asian food kick of late, and although I have yet to try the Pad Thai here, that dish has definitely become a favorite, at Sticky Rice, Lazy Dog, and Rice Express. I stopped by for the first time today and ordered the Crispy Chicken Green Curry, spice level 2, and Chicken Egg Rolls. My first green curry, and I found the dish to be very good, and I would get it again. The chicken eggrolls were good. Online reviews and pictures suggest efforts are being made to elevate the experience, therefore, I am anxious to try again. The service was good, waiter jokingly asked if I was a Texan when I mentioned spice level 2. He recommended level 5! We laughed and after some deliberation and not knowing what to expect the decision was made to stick to level 2. Turned out to be about right for my taste; level 3 might have been okay as well. The ambiance and dining room size is good, somewhat comparable to Sticky Rice.

I could not WAIT to write a review! I m still sitting in the restaurant as i m writing this. I ve grown accustomed to lazy, non-caring, and badly ran business but this place is far from that. Each employee is very invested and caring of your experience here and ask you how the food is and truly wants you to have a great experience so that alone shows a well running and proper value driven business. As I sat and looked at each one of the waiters they would consult and discuss each food choice with each customer to insure that their experience was great. Now beyond that the food. I would have licked my bowl if it were publicly acceptable. For spice level i like a good amount of spicy but not too spicy so id recommend the level 3 for the Red Curry was perfect spice level. The place is also very clean! I am now an new fan of this establishment!

Noodle Wave McKinney Is a local staple. The atmosphere is soft, calm, and welcoming. As soon as you walk in the door you feel as though youre being welcomed as family and the service is always quick to please and done with a smile. The initial soup was hearty and flavorful. I was beyond surprised with the Thursday lunch special, The Tung Tac Chicken & Thai Herbal Chicken. Its presentation was meticulous and beautiful without giving up on quality. The rice was cooked perfectly, the main dish was incredibly tasty and filling, and the egg roll was crispy and fresh while sporting a delicious sweet and sour sauce on the side. It was finished off with the Mango ice cream which was a fantastic finish to the symphony I enjoyed. I will continue to come and enjoy it for a very long time.

I ve been coming here for years now , there s this tall dude who was super rude to me , I came back to get my order after 25 min and he told me don t you know what 30 minutes look like while carrying my order already in his hand . I never experienced a rude person like this before . He raised his voice to my in front of all the people waiting in line. I will be submitting this to BBB. Wonderful service and great food to go with it. We had the spring rolls, pad thai, green curry and finished it off with mango and coconut ice cream. I dont have a bad word for any of it. Most of all the price was right. $60 for all of it with a tip.

Our meals were extremely delicious! I knew that the food would be good based on the reviews that I read. However, it was really really good! The tofu and vegetables and chicken or fresh and seasoned to perfection. My guest enjoyed her fried rice as well. Our waiter VK was phenomenal! He was very familiar with the menu and made a few suggestions. I ordered the Red Curry soup, level 5 spicy. It was really good and he brought additional spices so that I could tap up the heat! The bathroom and restaurant was clean and the restaurant decor was nice and simple. I will definitely dine here again. Vegetarian options: They gladly allowed me to choose tofu over chicken as I am a pescatarian. The meal was great! Parking: Ample parking, but you may not be able to Park directly my door

Noodle Wave is our go to place for delicious and authentic Thai food. We ve had their Pad Thai, Fried Rice Herbal Chicken, Pad Woonsen, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, and the Yum Neau (which is a Thai grilled beef salad tossed in a spicy vinaigrette) - all have been delicious! They should pay attention to what they have up on their TV screens. When we went, every other table had kids, the servers were glued to whatever that monster fight was on the screen and it was very hard to redirect childers attention from those screens. Alrighty so Noodle Wave Mckinney! We came here based on a Facebook recommendation. Ill be honest and go in order of Google review ratings. Food is a 5 due to a few things. 1. presentation was amazing! 2. Flavors were hit and made my stomach feel warm and fuzzy. 3. Temp was perfect across the board. Service is a 5 due to a couple of things. 1.Each phase of the experience was timely, but un rushed. 2. Servers were helpful in choosing options and knowledgeable of the menu. 3. All service members were attentive to our needs. Atmosphere is a 5. This is mostly because while the location is a bit of a tight squeeze, they pull it off with comfortable temperature, tasteful music and fun cat videos on the TVs. The food presentation and impeccable service added to this experience. Overall noodle wave is a 5 out of 5 for us! Thank you soo much, well be back soon.

Do better noodle wave I came here tonight for dinner after a long flight, we walked in and a women asking for a table for one was ahead of us the owner and the hostess said that she would have to wait for a long time to get seated and that the tables are for tables of 2 and larger, although the restaurant was busy their were 2 stand alone tables open, she even pointed them out and the hostess told her she couldn t be seated, after that we were seated before she even left the building (table for 2), I just thought it was rude it s free to be kind the food is alright not terrible but will be taking my business elsewhere it s hard enough to get a meal on your own but to be denied a clearly open table it was mean, also the table she pointed to was vacant the entire time we ate, do better Thai noodle wave

We stopped in for lunch while my car was being worked on across the street. It was clean and beautiful, good atmosphere. Our glasses were never less than half full, they were discreet and made sure we had everything we needed and the food was super fresh! I ordered the shrimp blankets appetizer and the basil chicken noodle dish for entree. Both were delicious! Will definitely be back.

Udon cashew chicken is probably our favorite dish, awesome fusion! Though our Singapore au pair says Roti Curry doesn t taste quite the same, it still tastes great. We never had wide noodles in Singapore noodles before, but it was also interesting. They always put generous amount of ingredients in their noodles, both veggie and protein. Almost hard to find noodles. The kids bento box is the best. Kids can have a balanced meal. They give you more than enough and even an ice cream. Also the ice cream flavors are not boring vanilla or chocolate. They offer cinnamon, matcha, coconut and mango flavors. A complete experience for your little one.
