The first time I was here, the food was 10/10. However, the last few times the food has been seriously lacking salt/seasoning. It s even worse when I don t choose the spicy option for the egusi soup (my go to). Please add more seasoning flavor!! I find myself having to season it when I get home. Besides this, the vegetables and meat are very fresh and the service is great.

Second time eating Nigerian food I ordered the peppered fish and jollof rice it was absolutely delicious. Only issue is the jollof rice is too not enough for $9 even though I would buy again but the one piece of fish for $6 it s crazy definitely should get a whole piece of fish for that price too expensive. I enjoyed my food and will still refer this place to others.

I got the rice with goat meat this is $20 dollars for rice and one piece of goat meat for that price never again I m all about supporting but for that price and what u get nope. I understand that prices go up but one piece of goat meat no sir I ve been to plenty of places and was more meat then that you want customers to buy give them more you got your money. But best wishes to your business and I hope that it continue to be great as people say. Just not a go for me thanks

Nice tasting Nigerian food. Take out only. Pepper fish is served steak cut style(1) per order. Pepper turkey (grill cut) is (1) Turkey wing per order. Pricing for soup is a little high considering you will have to thaw and reheat some items at home. Portion to price ratio still needs a little work.

The food is good but the prices are outrageous and unreasonable. I ve gotten various things on the menu and the prices make no sence. The peppered fish is 6 dollars but a single small piece with some stew on it. I gotten their fish roll as well and at 4 dollars for each one I expected something of some size, what I got was a quarter of my hand and 3 inches long.

Wow!! Food was amazing. My very first time trying Nigerian food. I got the Jollof Rice with peppered Chicken for my wife and I. Baby Mercy tried it as well and loved it! lol see picture. I ve never had rice with so much flavor. The chicken too!!..It had some kind of sauce on it that all went very well with the rice. We also tried the meat pie that was very tasty. All homemade food! Don t be afraid to try if you ve never tried Nigerian food. I m excited to go back to try the Puff puff. The service was great as well. The owner was Filled with Joy as she walked up to take my order. She was very helpful in helping pick what to order as it was my first time. As a Naija guy who is quite proud of Nigerian cuisine and who is quite a Naija food connoisseur, I have to say this restaurant has the best Nigerian food in Texas and indeed the surrounding States. We were treated well with love, dignity and respect by the Owner. It felt like we had known her for a while! The food was awesome, price was good, the egusi was to die for, the jollof rice was your proper smoky party jollof rice. It s a must-get! Her fried rice had big shrimps! Reminds me of Naija Mr. Biggs and Tantalizers! (Sorry Non-Nigerians, you may not get the lingo lol. Just get the food!) Her Ofada sauce was Ofada-ing!!! Get her Chapman drink too! It s compulsory. For a guy who always hit every Naija restaurant in every State I travel to, no one comes close to the quality, tastiness and yumminess from Ms Kenny s Honey-dips restaurant!

Efo with pounded yam. This review is not to bash the business in any way. When ordering online they had 2 options for the Efo either spicy or mild. I clicked mild cause I know Nigerian food can be super spicy for me. But after tasting it, it was no where close to mild!! Had to give the rest to my sister to eat. Maybe have an option for no spice. Also some of the meat mixed with the vegetables was so hard could barely chew it or even bite through it.Will I be back, yes I will. Hopefully some of the things I mentioned can be implemented.

Best Nigerian food and customer service in Dallas, TX. Had a last minute trip to Dallas. Called this restaurant while I was boarding and the customer service over the phone was excellent- very impressive. Had Uber pick up and I arrived at my hotel and the same time as the Uber(package) delivery- distance was from McKinney, TX to the Arts district. Food was neatly packed. No sipping and every package was upright in the bag- Ordered Amala with gberiri and ewedu. The Amala was soft and hot on arrival, the Gbegiri was thick(not watery) and so could actually taste the beans and I could actually taste the ewedu too. Was unable to taste the snail and Asun. Will freeze and take back home in the morning because I had like 8 pieces of meat in my meal(couldn t finish either)- bowl of Amala and meat was very generous and can be shared~ over all, I d give a 5/5.

I thought $9 for a piece of goat meat was probably just because it was goat meat but the last time I went I ordered Turkey and it was the same thing. For a restaurant that serves good food, I really hope the portions would be looked into. It s unrealistic to pay $9 for one medium sized piece of meat.
