I ordered online, and honestly, even giving 1 star feels too generous. As someone who loves pho and frequently orders from various restaurants, I was extremely disappointed. First, the portion size was underwhelming for nearly the same price as other places, I received about half the amount of meat and noodles. Second, the noodles weren t fresh and some parts were actually stiff. The only flavor that stood out was an overwhelming clove smell, which wasn t pleasant at all. To top it off, they forgot to include the coconut ice cream I had ordered. This was my first and definitely my last time ordering from here.

I got the Twenty Pho Seven Pho - a large fall off the bone beef rib served with cube steak. The pho broth and noodles were excellent - very authentic and probably one of the best I have tasted in the area considering its not a heavy Vietnamese presence. They used fresh noodles instead of the usual frozen dry noodles most restaurants serve. The beef, however, was very chewy and not fall off the bone. Traditional pho is also served with sliced beef and not cube steak, which may have added to the chewy beef consistency. The price is also expensive considering the size of the bowl.

I recently dined at The Alley Noodle Bar and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The service was prompt, and they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The highlight, of course, was the food. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. It s clear that the chefs are passionate about their craft. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I can t wait to return!

This place was great. Small, cozy inside. We started with the chicken wings which were large and perfectly crispy. No soggy skin here. Then had the garlic noodles and the ribeye pho. Both fantastic. We got shrimp and chicken on the noodles. My husband said the shrimp was amazing. The chicken was flavorful and tender. There were also some yummy pickled carrots on top. The pho itself had a fantastic, rich broth that I couldn t stop eating. The ribeye was shaved thin. The toppings were served on the side, as well as some sauces. The jasmine tea was fresh and delicious. Service was great. We will definitely be back.

New experience. I am glad I chose to try it. I tried the pho me up, I roll, and garlic and egg fried rice. I initially wanted to try something to make me feel better while not feeling my best. The pho did the trick. The pho: it had different cuts of beef which all seemed overwhelming after a while. I did not like the meatball but the others were ok. The broth flavor was ok but elevated once I added the sauce and lime. I think it needed more sauce and more lime to take it over. All the veggies were good and crisp, the noodles are flat and a bit wide. I do plan to try more options. The roll: I was expecting these to be really crispy and flavorful. The roll was not that crispy. The flavor was good and the roll was well stuffed and not to the point of being too big. The sauce made of ginger and garlic was underwhelming. The garlic and egg fried rice: This was the star of the show. The flavors were on point. It came with an over medium it. Mixing that in with the rice made the rice oowie gooie good. Loved this. I plan to try more items like this. Overall solid and tasty. I recommend and plan to go back.

Holy cow. This place was awesome. I personally like the casual atmosphere but the food is anything but. We had the wings, cucumber salad and garlic noodles with shaken beef. Everything was incredibly delicious. The wings were fried to perfection, the cucumber salad was light and flavorful and the noodles were ridiculously garlicky and unctuous. I will be back frequently as I am positive I will dream about that food.

Awful customer service. Last week, my son picked up Good Pho To Go which is included of some broth, a few pieces of vegetables and some tofu. They forgot to put the tofu. My son said its not worth it to drive back to the restaurant in the afternoon traffic and get the tofu! Yesterday, my son stopped there to pick up another order of Good Pho To Go and mentioned to them that they forgot to give him tofu last week. The interesting thing is that they admitted they noticed their mistake, they noticed they forgot to add tofu to my sons order, but they didnt offer any compensation at all!!! My son brought the pho home yesterday, and guess what? Again, a part of order was missing!!! This time, my son drove back and showed them how awful their customer service is. We will never go back there again.

Let me start by saying that my sons were absolutely raving about their meals. My hubby and I were leaning a closer to 4/5 on that front. Even so, there was simply no denying that our server was barely short of ph -nomenal. Having said that, it was a little disappointing to have to request Sriracha, hoisin, and chopsticks. Lastly, on the note of utensils, I wish the soup spoons were glass--like the ones I have at home--but I imagine that could prove quite costly when thinking of not just the potential of having to replace them but also the added tort possibilities within our sometimes sue-happy society.

Ive been to this new restaurant 2 times so far and each time was a pleasant surprise. The first time I went there, I tried the Pho Me Up! and it came with the wider rice noodle which I preferred and couldnt find in any pho restaurant so far in the DFW area. The soup was very tasty and there was a lot of toppings. The second time I tried their BBH and it was one of the better BBH I had in terms of taste and quality of ingredients. The restaurant was clean and service was great. Since this place is near to my house, I would be visiting again soon.

We knew we should ve left when they served the basil leaves that you can put in the pho, and the leaves were wilted and Brown. When we asked for new leaves, the server said this is the way we serve them. The broth was horrid. The meat was tough. The smoked brisket was off. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee that was undrinkable . we told the server who said there was nothing he could do about it and refused to take it off the check. Don t go here. There are better places in this area for pho.

The Alley Noodle Bar was a pretty nice experience. It was a small, clean and simply decorated restaurant and their pho was amazing! Their broth was good and their noodles chewy. I would in my preference prefer the thinner noodles but it was still one good bowl of pho. The meat was nice and tender. However, for the portion, the pho is a little pricey. overall would come back when craving a bowl of pho. :)

Very pleased with what I ordered (the wok with grilled porkchop). The rice cooked and fried perfectly, not oily, not dried. Had a nice balance in soy flavor/fragrance and not clumping together. Porkchop was marinade and grilled just right, moist, and fresh. Friendly service, nice outdoor tables to enjoy during cool weather. I will definitely come back for other dishes.

The vibe and aesthetic are on point. The prices reflect the upscale intentions, the food is good but slightly misses the mark in a few places - especially for the cost. The PHO the Love of God had all the ingredients we normally prefer so that s what was ordered. The noodles were the L or XL size pho noodles. Multiple areas of them were clumped (stuck)together, but they were cooked properly otherwise. Many restaurants use M size, not sure it matters. What does matter is that the broth was lacking some of the spice notes you normally find in a good broth. You do get a nice setup of Thai Basil, jalapeños, and fresh bean sprouts. The upscale nature of the restaurant means you have to ask for sriracha and hoisin to dip your meat in. It s not on the table. And the classy dishwasher safe chopsticks aren t nearly as useful in pho as the cheap single use ones that actually have texture. The Saigon spring rolls were good as was the peanut sauce - but at $7.99 it s way too expensive for such a small portion. Maybe 3 (small ish) rolls would have made it feel ok. Most of the places in the area charge 4.99 or less for much larger portions of the same quality. The oodles of noodles was also good. The iRoll that comes chopped up inside might be one of the best egg rolls we ve had in a long time. They probably could get more caramelization on the grilled pork, but it was tender for sure. Finally, the popcorn chicken bites were also good. Lightly breaded, comes out hot. And based on all the kids in the restaurant - they re a hit from ages 3 to 15 :-) The names of the items on the menu are definitely pretty funny - I ll give them that.

We really enjoy the food here, and they care about their customers. They have a unique approach with their take on traditional staples, or you can customize dishes to your liking. Weve used Door Dash but usually pick up. It would be nice if they had dedicated parking for carry-out, as the lot can get crowded. Most recently, I unpacked my order and found an ingredient we had specifically asked to be excluded due to allergies - mistakes happen - not a huge deal. I called to let them know, and the (owner/manager?) immediately took ownership and personally drove a replacement to our house just minutes later. I was really impressed by the response on a night when their business was rather busy. Excellent customer service!

The broth was fragrant and complex and delicious. Noodles were maybe just a tad bit on the chewy side for me, but they held their structure nicely. Interior is small but nicely decorated and clean. 5 stars from me!

Amazing! The best pho and vermicelli (they called it something else here) that Ive ever had! I had been looking for a good place and I found it! Minus one star because we walked in, confused on whether we sit or wait to be seated.. we werent greeted, so we just sat down. The guy gave us the menus and walked away.. my husband had a question about the menu, tried asking him, the guy told him to sit and wait. Afterwards, we were helped by someone else. Outside of that, Im impressed by this place!

Finally found a decent pho place close to Frisco and will definitely be visiting again. I think the beef was standard, not blown away but also not disappointed. The broth was fantastic - felt lighter tasting than most and not super salty or beefy. I appreciate they split the regular noodles and extra noodles in a separate bag so you know you actually got more. Spring rolls and and fried rolls were delicious. The wings were really good too and not tiny.

Its a small shop with a relatively quaint, and pleasant atmosphere, if a bit crowded. The food is good, but in that very Americanized way, which for me keeps it from being remarkable in any way. The service is friendly, prompt, and accommodating, I wish I could give this place more stars, but in the end the flavors are just not there for me.

I really enjoyed my lunch in this modern Vietnamese restaurant. The spring rolls were so refreshing, the wings were the best I ve tried for a very long time! The pork chop was so juicy and flavorful! Besides that, I m so impressed with the efficient attentive service, thank you so much for making my day even better!

Finally came tonight and the food was delicious. We got fried rice and pho. Both were flavorful and good portions. The decor is also super cute. What was the most impressive is the gentleman working single handedly taking orders, busing tables, mobile orders and takeout, and serving food. The 1 hour we were there we watched him working non stop multitasking serving at least 20 customers that passed through. He did a great job, but might be wise to get him some help before burnout.

Wings were crispy, sauce flavorful as well. Prices a bit high all things considered. Ordered iced coffee but not available, was given a bottled water for free. Worth to try if you havent been.

Flavor were on point. The wok is my favorite entree, the pork or chicken leg version. The fried rice was very good and all Flavia balanced well. The pork chop was a bit charred around the fat but not bad enough that a quick scrape didn t fix.

Ive been here twice. Ive tried their garlic noodles and eggrolls which were decent before. Well I went back today and ordered the wok with shaken beef. Im so disappointed, especially since its so pricey here. My fried egg was still raw on the top, not the yolk but there was a huge glob of the white on top completely uncooked. And then I got to the beef and it was shockingly super easy to chew. So I got suspicious and just bit half way through.... the beef is literally raw inside! What the heck! And I dont mean its done medium ....its literally raw. Only the outside was brown. I didnt notify the restaurant because I didnt have time to go back today. What a disappointment.

I ordered thru grub hub and there were no options for modifications, so I called to ask if I could have beef broth instead of mushroom broth with my veggie pho. Im not a vegetarian I just enjoy the veggies in my soup. They were very busy and my order still sent with mushroom broth instead of beef. I called the restaurant and Twan was super sweet and understanding when I told him I couldnt leave to pick it up because I have covid. This is day 3 for me and I havent had an appetite till today. He actually sent his girl friend to bring the right broth. He even called to see how things came out?! I feel like a new person after eating finally, and it was so delicious! Everything was spot on and I found my new spot! I am blown away by the efforts Twan and his girl friend put forth to get me that pho! Much appreciated and sorry if I spelled your name wrong. You have a return customer! Thank you!

We were excited to see the Noodle bar was open so stopped in for lunch. We were greeted and given menus. The atmosphere was chill no pressure. It really is an alley width sized restaurant, but the layout still felt spaced out, comfortable. The design also looks good for takeout. We ordered Twenty PHO Seven and Comon chicken and rice dish. The Pho broth was full and flavorful. The ingredients were fresh and it came with lots of perfectly cooked noodles. I was a bit disappointed in the amount of meat on the beef rib. I was expecting Texas BBQ Beef with some meat, however this was more fat/collagen rather than protein. I really would have like a chunk of meat on the rib. It was pretty much a big bone. Other than that it was delicious. The rice dish was really good as well. The fried rice was well seasoned and had good wok hei. The chicken was well marinated and was bursting with juicy flavor. I look forward to eating here again, trying more dishes, and ordering takeout!
