The manager named Josh is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My family and I have a habit of coming in to dine close to closing time, Josh is always so happy to take care of us and is very inviting. He always makes my familys night, and takes the time to actually talk to us, instead of taking our orders and moving to the next guest. I love that after a long day of hard work, we get to see a smiling familiar face that makes the day feel more worth it. He is a hard working manager that takes care of his guests. 10/10

I have been to Jasons Deli only one other time and that was about 10 years ago... i can say that my experience today won me over so big, i might become a regular customer! From the moment i placed my order, everyone was so friendly, inviting, and engaging! I ordered the Deli Club and it was fresh and delicious! The salad bar equally so!! Good job!! We eat at This location of Jason s Deli in McKinney frequently. It s our go to lunch favorite. We love the freshness of food & favorite, California club, fruit, and, of course, free ice cream. The restaurant is a great place to relax, get great variety of meals, served quickly, at reasonable prices, by friendly, efficient Managers and wait staff. They are the very best. During lunch time it is important to turn people out quickly. I walked in and stood at the counter for about 7 minutes while 6-8 employees pretended I didnt exist including the manager who walked up to the register and answered a phone call without saying a thing to me. I eat here often and Speed is definitely not important to this location so be wary of eating here for lunch unless you have an hour to kill.

We are absolutely done with this location! The staff, especially when female assistant manager, is incredibly lazy! She never wants to take care of the deliveries. She doesnt know how to get in order right. She gets mouthy. I feel so sorry for the general manager, chris. I honestly dont know how he does his job with her there. Again we tried to make another delivery order tonight, she come up with a hundred different excuses why they couldnt do it even though there are still plenty of time! She just does not want to do the work. Then, on the rare occasion they do make the order, they get it wrong. I cannot say enough bad about this location. I hope Chris finds somewhere he is appreciated.

Stopped in for lunch with my daughter while out shopping. Everything on the menu, which is quite extensive sounded pretty good but we settled on sharing a pineapple chicken salad sandwich and a bbq baked potato. Both were fairly good but we both agreed the bbq meat in the potato tasted a bit like the Lloyds bbq meat they sell in the tubs at your local grocery store. I think if we were to order a potato again, it would be loaded with just bacon, cheese and green onions. They are massively huge though and we were unable to finish it. The sandwich and chips were good and just the right portion. We also ordered a side of fruit which also came with a lightly flavored cream cheese dip. They also have a salad bar which we may try out next time. Its small but had quite a few toppers to choose from. Overall, a great place to stop in for a satisfying lunch.

Jasons Deli has long been a favorite deli of mine for their generous portions and wide selection of food choices. This was my first visit to the McKinney location and it lived up to my expectations. Setting the tone, the young lady taking our order made a nice comment about my 80-year-old moms Zelda earrings. Although it was lunchtime, the staff had tables cleaned and ready quickly. My pastrami and swiss sandwich was piled high and tasty, just like Carnegie Deli in NYC (although with much more elbow room). A very enjoyable lunch. We will be back.

Our School hosted a Fundraiser Spirit Night at this location. It was so incredibly busy between online orders, in store orders, and orders from their regular customers!! The staff worked their tails off and the manager on duty, Kristen ( Gypsy) was so kind and accommodating. Yes, some guests needed to wait a bit for their food due to how busy it was, but the staff at Jasons did their very best to help everyone in a timely manner. We are so appreciative of the hard work the entire staff put in to make this Fundraiser a success.

This location is our very favorite Jasons Deli location. The cashiers were great, but for the first time, the trays were not clean. The young woman ignored us when I brought this to her attention. Good clean store. Sandwich was good, service was great and the salad bar was very well maintained. Looked so good I promised myself to try it next time. Will come back.

Warning this location has a roach infestation. I went in a few weeks ago and seen something crawling on the back wall but thought it was a fly. Once I went over to the tables by the salad bar I realized they had roaches.

We were standing in line at the front and when in line a roach was crawling over a Jason s deli sign and crawled straight down the wall. We talked to the older lady serving food at 551 we told her - she didn t come around the counter to look or anything - her response was hmmm. Not a thank you or didn t leave to come see this thing - she didn t care Older lady grey white hair running the register. Absolutely disgusting that she didnt care - if roaches are running around during dining hours that place must be packed - she could of came out - if they don t care about roaches , we will not be coming back Mike & Stephanie Maestas
