It s extremely disappointing that this location has gone down hill. I placed an online order (through the app), 2 create your own pizzas. My husband picked up our order by the ready time. When he arrived the pizza wasn t ready, he had to wait. Once he got home we realized my pizza was wrong - missing ingredients and added ingredients (that I didn t select). I called the restaurant and the phone was answered with hello . For a while I didn t know if I called the right place. I started to describe the issue and I could hear a gentleman in the background screaming what s wrong and the phone was handed to him. They are extremely unprofessional and lack customer service. I told him the issues with my order and he voided the ordered. They did make things right however this isn t the first time they mess up our order and now I have a pizza I m not going to eat.

The WORST experience. Food was not ready. They told me I was early - three minutes early and they havent started my order. Workers yelled and argued with each other - argued over who had to make my meal. It was embarassing for them, but they did not act like it was.

Came here a little over a month ago and there was still 30 minutes left and Instead of serving us the employee was snarky and they said they would only serve the person in front of us and said they were closed then kicked us out and several other guests out who were trying to order and today we came back and the person who served us was very light on the toppings even when I asked for more several times, and then when asked for more she then said she isnt allowed which has never happened. Will definitely not come back to this Mod Pizza again.

I just went to this location for the first time in at least a year and it seems to be under new management. My experience was similar to several below in that I clearly ordered my ingredients and the pizza I got was way off....black olives instead of mushrooms, spicy sauce when I didnt ask for it. The gentleman behind the counter seemed nice enough but completely out of his element in customer service.

Food was good, however one employee in particular seemed to have lost their mind. Seemed like he was the cashier and putting the pizzas in. He had a spatula in his hand and was smacking it against his thigh, touching boxes, the counter and his hair. I was so disgusted. After laying his hand all over everything, at no point did he wash his hands before grabbing my sons pizza to put it in the oven. We asked him to take it out, as we wouldnt be eating that one he just handled. The other two employees who were building the rest of our pizzas were apologetic and offered to have the pizza remade. My husband asked the gentleman to please wash his hands before handling the rest of our pizzas and he agreed. While my husband was getting ranch for our pizzas he witnessed said employee pull out his vape, use it in the facility and pass it to his friend to use it. Im writing all of this to say, dont be afraid to speak up about the hygiene of these employees when handling your food.

Ive been here over a dozen times since I moved to to area it has always been great food and service. Not sure who is managing now but its no where near where it used to be. No one greets you when you walk in. I waited 10 mins before someone said something to me in the front... food was not very good. Idk but the lady is not very good at working in customer service. Shes rude and uninviting. Ill go out of my way to go to another location to avoid this one.

some of the worst service I ve had in a long time. These reviews are annoying to have to write, but holy moly. No one talked, no one greeted anyone, had their backs turned, awkwardly stood to pay for 30 mins because the payment terminal wasn t working. Zero communication about it for over 30 mins. I m not joking. I m shocked this place is even still open. They need more people and they need to learn how to customer service lol I m flabbergasted.

The new girl is really terrible she put cheese on my pizza in the middle literally half of the crust has no cheese and I ordered Tristan and no pesto either! They werent busy when we arrived. Ordered 2 pizzas and a garlic bread. They made 1 of the pizzas with the wrong toppings despite asking about the toppings. Garlic bread tasted not garlicky at all, almost like if it wasnt garlic out on at all. When we asked for red sauce for the bread, they gave us hot sauce. Overall not sure what happened here.

The food is good but the service is very disorganized, and this time they gave me 3 burnt pizzas, the edges completely black. I told them that I didnt want them like that and their response was: they would cut off the entire burnt edge how about that??? I love MOD and this location has a patio but the teenagers that work here are AWEFUL, they are aleays missing ingredients, refuse to touch anchovies, burn the pizzas often and are overall just super lazy. This location seems to have issues with staff or having enough staff. This has been an issue at this location going on 2+ years now. Easter Sunday. Lunchtime. They had 2 staff. Unsurprisingly, it took about 18 minutes to get to the counter and place an order (thats with the couple in front of us leaving after 10 minutes). It was only about 15-20 minutes till our food was ready, so that part wasnt too bad.

The food was good but when compared to blaze the options for toppings are less. The sauce and the bread tasted pretty good. The quality was on point. The place had a closing time of 10pm but when I went there at 9pm the staff were already closing maybe due to less traffic at that time. The staff were patient with me to make the pizza the way I liked it. I will be going back to try it during the afternoon so I can sit there and eat. Oof! Y all this location used to be so good. Now it s a mess. Staff is lost!!! Asked for half pepperoni and half cheese. Young lady proceeds to make the pepperoni half with no cheese. Thank god I caught it. Young man making my salad was lost. Asked for the salami in my salad. Said do you want to add that? And I said no I want the salami it comes with then I asked if it had arugula. He said it s in there. My salad has no arugula. Salad was a MOD size and it didn t even fill the go container. Then we found a hair in it. Meanwhile the young man making our food touched his hair and clothes with his gloved hands NON STOP. And like keeps touching his hair while I m sitting here watching him. I work across the street and come here often at lunch. Several times it has taken my full hour break to order and get the pizza. Not even able to eat it on my break. The manager loves to watch her employees struggle. There will be a line, one worker and the manager who wont lift a finger and watches without a word. I feel bad for the workers there. No wonder they cant keep staff. One person cant press, assemble, bake the pizza and check someone out in a reasonable time frame. I dont blame the staff for how slow theyve gotten these past few months. Some help from management should be the minimum to expect.

The food is good. Service is usually good till recent. It was a Saturday night and I was needing some pizza to go with my nightly games, I checked Google for the open and close times, they were open and Google says that they are open till 11. This date was updated 7 weeks ago (fairly recent). I arrived at the store at 8:10 and they were closed. I then proceed to watch 4 more families try to walk in to get food and get turned away. This sucks I only get pizza normally close to 10 anyway. Im not necessarily disappointed at the fact they closed earlier more so they didnt update anything, closed not just an hour earlier but 3, and left their led open light on as well. Dont recommend just get papa Johns or dominos.

The current state of this place is disappointing. My son and I have come here frequently since the week it opened many years ago. It has always been consistent quality and service. Today was a different story. With only 2 staff members on duty, service was quite delayed. The pizzas took 3-4 times longer than normal to cook. I asked one of the employees about the delay. He said they are cooking them on low to keep from burning pizzas since they are short staffed. That is fine for most of the pizzas, but it sets up for the bottoms to be burned. Ours was fine because I asked them to remove them and check. Unfortunately not all customers had the same advantage. Several were complaining about burnt pizzas and having to get refunds. Because of the delay in initial prep, the line got long. I saw many people walk in and then turn right around and leave. I wish I had. I think the most disappointing part was the adding of ingredients. They were not evenly distributed or even in amounts. The cheese was basically piled high in the middle, causing potential uneven cooking and huge chunks of just crust around the edges. The dining area was obviously unattended by staff, so soft drinks were out, trash was piled, and tables were filthy. It felt strange with no music playing. I hate to see that this place we once enjoyed is headed toward a clear spiral of being closed. If this management doesn t make changes, this location will not last.

The pizza prep guy had no clue on what goes on each pizza we ordered. he got the dough ready & was asking us for each ingredient & topping. My family and I frequent this location in McKinney as it is across the street from our home. We came in thanksgiving eve to enjoy a meal with our family and the staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. They were turning away business and telling those coming in it was to go only as they were under staffed. The manager Jaron refused to give to go cups for the drinks we were having as an inconvenience. This establishment is poorly ran, managed and understaffed. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

Super SLOW pizza... I dont blame it on the kids who work here. These kids are, by the looks of it, given little to no training, dont look like theyve ever worked in the food industry and have no one to teach them basic organizational skills or interpersonal customer service skills. Restraunts pay more than they ever have to attract workers, but cant train them once they find people to work for them or teach them the skills they need to succeed and retain their employment. Bottom line is that it took 30 minutes to get my food. 30 minutes. Because they had their orders shuffled around and the guy putting on the pizza sauce would step off the line every few seconds and was constantly distracted. Do better, live up to your slogan of fast pizza and make a difference in the teenagers lives you decide to hire on. They need to learn how to work and how to have good communication and customer service skills. Otherwise you are creating a very expensive daycare and failing to give these kids any real life experience.

Its been slipping, but last night was the worst. One young man was high as a kite making one pizza into a burrito Chipotle style. The place was dirty. Many options to put on the pizza were empty. This location makes consistently good pizza. Steer clear of the cheesy breadsticks though. They throw some sort of green spice all over them that completely ruins them. My experience here was horrible to say the least. I purchase an 11inch with light sauce, I brought the order back due to there being no sauce on the pizza. Going back to this location when my order was delivered on my lunch break is a lot but I was fine with it. They treated me as if I made a mistake, very rude and open about it. While waiting I wanted to order a drink she gave me a cup and shoed me off like a child. Going to this establishment was the worst decision I made. The pizza that was given 30 mins after looked disgusting there was an insane amount of cheese added, oily and not appeasing. They had a chance to redo this Order and to make a happy paying customer. I wanted to update my review from a year or so ago because since I left it, they have resolved this issue with the ordering system, so we always get our pizza from here now! There have been a couple mixups here and there with toppings BUT nothing that s prevented us from enjoying our meals and and the customer service is always good! The pizza would be good if I could somehow order it . I have never once been able to make an online order from their website because it is forever not accepting online orders - okay fine. So I try to call, just rings and rings and rings and maybe ONCE I have been sent to a machine to order from a robot - and cool, I don t care, I ll give my order to the robot as long as I can just make an order!! It s so frustrating because this is one of very few places that I can get a pizza as a vegan but now I can t even do that unless I guess I go THERE to order and wait. We always pick up so driving is not the problem but it s way inconvenient and I just wonder if I am the only one who is having this issue??? How are they getting enough business if you can t offer the same conveniences as other pizza chains?

I would give all 5 stars however, every time I have gone into this location I have notified them (right away) that I am lactose intolerant and can not have ANY kind of cheese or any kind of dairy, I also ask for a clean cut for this reason. And every time I have gone here I watch them cut my pizza with the same cutting device they had just cut the last cheesy pizza with and every time I have major issues because these people have a hard time listening to their customers. So, I removed one star for not listening to the customer (me) while Im there and I removed a second star for giving me diarrhea because of not listening.

This was my first experience at MOD Pizza. They have a nice selection of ingredients and crust options. I knew to get the thicker crust because I was going to load my pizza. Ordering online was no hassle at all and the easiest option, being my first time visiting. I arrived and my pizza was ready to go. Really appreciated the parm and red pepper was just available to grab without asking. Nice and clean on the inside and the smells were very intoxicating, a mix of veggies and sweet meats. Was the pizza good? Yes! Will I visit again? Yes! And, my short encounter with staff was on point and pleasant.

This is my absolute top tier #1 go to spot for pizza! I absolutely love the staff and atmosphere here. Even when they are absolutely slammed and packed the staff are always super fast, helpful, friendly and kind. Totally would recommend! Absolutely TERRIBLE!! I called to tell the manager my Vegan (non meat/no dairy) pizza had standard sausage on it rather than vegan plant based. Normally I would let it slide, but I had already eaten multiple slices of the pie and felt it prudent to let someone know this is a pretty serious mistake. When I called, the person, who identified themselves as the manager, offered NO form of apology whatsoever, only an excuse. Apparently this location thinks letting me know that were very busy and have a lot of toppings that get mixed up was somehow going to keep me from getting severely sick from their mistake. Frustrated, I asked how this could happen and was again given nothing but excuses like, its not our policy to suggest things are dairy free when clearly these items are offered on the menu. To top it off, they apparently felt theyre the ones being inconvenienced (even though Im the one vomiting for 6 hours straight) and hung up on me...??? I used to be a MOD fan but this was way too much for me to reconsider going back

My pizza was sitting out cold on the rack. I was there a few minutes early before the pick-up time and still. Pick-up was as easy as anybody could walk in, grab any pizza from the pick-up rack and walk out. No greetings, and felt like no one cared about customers walking in or out.

I love MOD pizza. BUT this location was filthy when I went a few weeks ago. And there were plenty of staff working. So there was no excuse in my opinion. Take a few minutes to pick up a broom and clean up! For this reason, I will travel out of my way to Allen or the location on Custer. Do better management!

Amazing the Pizza is fire kissed and crispy with cheese that stretches for a mile when you pull a slice. Add as many toppings as you like for the same price. The old fashioned and Blackberry lemonades shouldnt be ignored sweet tart and tasty. No name key lime pie was interesting as its similar to a Hostess Ding Dong but still tastes great!
