We love this park big open space to run around and play. You can watch the airplanes come and go from the little airport close by !! It s got a splash pad in the playground and situated a little in the shade so nice and cool and not as hot as some of these other parks! Playground: Lots of different sizes of slides for little ones and older kids to play on as well as bridges to climb on has a splash pad area and a swing set close by! Dog-friendliness: Has a walking trail all the way around the park to walk your dog as well as big open space in the middle to run and play! Picnic area: There s a covered picnic area with several benches to sit on and set up a party or a picnic or just to get out of the heat!

Its a cute idea but not fantastic for very little kids. I didnt realize its in the middle of a subdivision and kind if small. Theres not a ton of parking because I think its primarily meant for the neighborhood.

Good neighborhood park. The park is quiet and relatively clean. Great sunset sky. Adults walking around the loop, and with dogs, small kids playing. However, my fear is this could all change once the new housing development is completed just north of the park. It wont be another couple of years until then. This would likely change the current status

Needs some updates and more equipment for enjoyment. Residents like to walk and bring their dogs to run and walk but do not stay too long. The park could use some tending to.

Ive built and lived in my home for 20 years where this park is located. Its a nice place to walk my dogs and theres even a splash/water pad that they love. Thanks for having dog waste bag stations. Playground: The playground looks (my children are all grown) fun and clean. Theres a slide. Toilets: There are no restrooms here Dog-friendliness: Waste stations (with bags). Water splash pad. Picnic area: There are a couple of picnic tables

An okay park but if you live near by or just want to walk then this is a good spot. The splash pad had a lot of bees looking to make a home there, which made it unusable (and with Texas heat this just doesn t work).

Loved this park. Its clean and well tended. The splash pad is so much fun for kids. I only gave it 4 stars because the playground was so hot the kids couldnt touch it or play on it on hot days.

This is a great park by the McKinney airport. You can watch the planes take off. The park has multiple slides, swings, splash pad, basketball court, pavilion, bbq grill, water fountain and open area for team sports. There is also a .3 mile trail good for walking/running. Only downside is no restrooms.

Decend facility, but now charging $10 per person per day to support players that need cheer leaders. Dont be greedy and help families come out and support family and friends. I certainly hope the policy changes or the facility is significantly upgraded to justify this kind of robbery.

Not the best park in the world, but if you live nearby then its not a bad place to just hang out. Its a good place to hang out with your family, kids, or friends. It has a splash pad that works in the summer just fine.

Aviator Park is a great place to take your children too if you want to have a cookout and allow them to get a little bit wet in the process as they have not only the playground for the children to play but they have a rainbow rain fountain this Im to walk on to walk on or maybe even ride a bike going to call it because its three arches with spray water that the children can run through and they also have fountains at the bottom of the squared up off and on myself I dont have any young children but they also have a nice pavilion with two grills to cook and have a nice get together along with a nice trail

I call this park the hidden little gem. It s ty led away in a neighborhood so it makes it more private and less busy than the more public parks. It has a surprisingly big playground area and a large splash pad and a huge grassy field. There s also a really spacious, clean, covered picnic area that s perfect for gatherings and birthday parties

It has a nice running trial, almost level the whole way around it is measured at .3miles which is nice for when running it! Its quiet and a decent place to visit with a nice open field and more

The playground is nice, splash pad needs some maintenance. There is a steep drop off from the gazebo sitting area to the playground which is a little dangerous for smaller kids.

I personally I personally say that Aviator Park was a pretty cool experience because I was playing Pokemon go and it was within walking distance and I walked all the way to Aviator Park just to find out that it is actually very huge and I never actually seen it before and so Aviator Park was just an amazing kids playgrounds huge Fields huge sidewalk walking or running for adults the mini Waterpark and it had everything you could ask for and the Pokemon Channel going on win win

This is a nice little park in the neighborhood. Since its in the corner, theres little traffic from cars. Theres a parking space, walking trail, basketball court, swings, picnic area with grills, playground, mini splash pad and lots of grass to run on. The McKinney airport is right next door past the wooded area so you can see small planes take off and land, which is actually neat, especially if theyre the old fashioned ones.

What can I say? I love this place. Its very quiet, you can look at beautiful abstract artwork thats in bright colors. I bet they can see this art from the space station. I have zero complaints. The water sounds nice you can hear the water fountains and look at the man made water (pond) there. There is a place to sit and have your lunch. I saw some staff walking around on lunch break, including two ladies in corporate attire, but joggers shoes. Therefore, I figured many enjoy walking around before or after lunch to get that creativity flowing. If you want to be inspired and love art I would definitely recommend this place. Its very clean so dont drop trash pick up after yourself. Its one place thats FREE. Free to park and free to visit. I love Frisco, Tx and I think this is another wonderful place to take friends or family. Kids cant climb up on the art. Were not supposed to touch but you can stand near it and TAKE all the photos that you want. I love it. I loved all of the pieces and I will definitely go there again. Beautiful and so creative. If you take your pet please pick up after it. Because this park is clean there was NO poo there. I did see ducks but they live there.

This park is not young kid friendly. There are open holes on the top level going towards the slides. My son fell down one while running for the slides. Also the side walk has a huge drop off. Not comfortable with my kids running around.

Aviator Park in McKinney its a great place to bring your children to play and enjoy. Theres a large Park which allows them to run around and play games like tag and soccer. The play equipment is in great shape and is useful for children of all ages. I was there with a 14 month old and a 4 year old and both enjoyed their time. Probably the best part is that there is a splash pad which is always fun for the kids when the weather is right. the only negative is there is limited parking if you dont live nearby and can walk there from your house.

My kids and I enjoyed this random find. The park is very clean and lots of fun. There is a running path, a splash pad, tables and a big field to play ball or what ever you like. Dogs on leashes are welcome and the park is open until 11pm. At the drinking fountain there is also a dog Fountain.
