We are frequent diners and love this place and the food. Tonight was a little disappointing because of the service. Our waiter must have had somewhere to be as we were rushed at every approach. He was very short and rude, interrupting conversations, bringing the check when weren t half-way done, and just saying Done? The topper was him walking 3 steps away with the signed check that he asked to pick up 2 seconds after us finishing and shaking his head while checking out his tip. Not impressed at all and hope next time for more pleasant service. Wanna big tip? Earn it.

The staff at Cristina s is amazing! Our waiter Paula is always so kind and gives us the best customer service! Santa at the front is always so nice and does an amazing job as well. This is a regular spot for our family and we will continue to come back again and again! We also love the salsa and chip guy he s so fun and he always brings my husband the spicy salsa he likes!! This was my first time at Christinas. My daughter and l were having lunch after running errands. The atmosphere was great. Very classy place that you can dress casual and be fine. It makes for a great romantic date place FYI. I had a platter of mixed foods like chicken quesadillias, beef nachos, chicken flaunts, and a tamale. It was delicious. My daughter got the grilled shrimp tacos and they looked scrumptious however, when she tried to eat the first one of 3 it was so salty it burned her tongue and wasnt eatible. Our waiter immediately took care of it. Despite this experience l will definitely eat there again. The food & ambiance was wonderful minus salt. So lm giving it 4 stars.

I normally love cristinas! We order doordash quite frequently and the food is always good. Today it was absolutely horrible. My husbands steak for his fajita tasted like rubber. The rice and beans had zero flavor. My carne asada tasted like steak with no seasoning or marinade on it and was bone dry. I order this minimum once or twice a month so I know exactly how it is supposed to taste. The chips were also horrible- first bowl fine, but the 2nd bowl tasted like they had not changed the oil in the fryer in some time so they tasted burnt and disgusting. We always get extra so we can take home because we like it so much. Our bill was 80 something dollars and I would have been more satisfied by taco bell. Please if you have a new team please train them better so you dont lose more customers.

My husband and I eat at Cristinas every time we come to McKinney and it is usually always good but, we were there on Monday March 18th and it was absolutely the worst! My husbands plate was so full of grease that he spooned two tablespoons of grease and it was still floating in grease it was completely inedible, we were not even checked on by the waiter to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything so we didnt have an option of speaking with management. Our bill was $43.30 for something I wouldnt feed my dogs and I ordered a Taco salad and I dont even want to talk about it because it was equally disgusting. I believe were done with Cristinas and will find other places to eat when were in McKinney.

My first time at the restaurant. Food, staff and facilities were excellent! Had a Taco salad for dinner - best one in a long time. The chips and salsa was great. Chips were the thin freshly-made variety. For dessert had apple pie/ice cream with a sauce in pan. Dang - I shouldve ordered 2. Service was excellent - iced tea was always full. There is an extremely rude, disrespectful, lack of leadership, customer service and unprofessional female manager employed there. She ll get rude with the wrong one one day and it won t be good for her. Will not ever step foot in that restaurant again and will decline any Uber orders because of her. If all items in an order is not ready, don t put it on the pickup table. Especially when there s no one around to help you. Then to call me and tell me what my grown self needs to do is totally unacceptable. I m not a child. Do NOT order the Chicken Taco Fajitas! I ordered this dish this evening for dinner and the chicken fajita tacos did not come with any of the ingredients listed other than chicken. I m in town on business and truly enjoy authentic Mexican food. I was tired and dirty from my job, so I called in an order to pick up and eat later. Had a UberEats deal so decided to give Cristinas Fine Mexican restaurant in McKinney a try and ordered the Cancun plate. Their delivery packaging is terrific, the visual presentation is very appetizing. The portions are nice, the food was wonderful. And a nice surprise, it came with a bag full of tortilla chips and 2 small containers of salsa! Will definitely be trying out more of their menu, either by delivery or going there in person.

Went again last night and had chicken fajitas = delicious! The chicken was very tender, the green pepper and onions were cooked to perfection, the salsa is the best, the chips are perfect, the pico de gallo has cilantro in it (yum), the guacamole is fresh as is the sour cream, and the charro beans are wonderful. Our son ordered brisket tacos and thought they were great. My husband ordered chicken tacos and loved them. I might try brisket fajitas next time. Queso was Luke warm, the Tortilla chips tasted store bought, the grilled shrimp was just half way grilled, the tortillas are not homemade, and the margaritas are too expensive and not made in a margaritas glass. I was overwhelming happy and impressed with Christinas in McKinney. Andy was our server and he was amazing. I felt like he treated us like a family member. He check in requently and recommend the restaurants signature dishes. In regards of the food, my socks were blown off. From the time we sat down. The water, chips and salsa were endless. Just the right salt on the chips, and the salsa had the perfect blend of fresh with a hint of heat. On a final thoughts the churros were amazing. One must try when you visit. We went to this restaurant on 23June2023. It was very bad experience. I ordered the Black Berry Mint Margarita. It was nothing but water with couple of berries in there. While we were leaving the restaurant server got the shot in a shot glass and he said this one you have to mix in Margarita. They did not even provided us real Margarita and charged $11:00! I bought 3 shrim cocktails, there were with no taste at all, no clamato no orange juice, no cilantro. The salsa is without spice, is just tomato flavor. Waste of money. I spoke with the manager and she told me that they do not put cilantro on them, that was not true, I have eat them there and they (cocktails) had cilantro. She didnt want to gave me credit for what I spent, $47. She gave me credit just for one cocktail. We ate 2 because we didnt have another option for dinner, I couldnt call yesterday because at that time the restaurant was closed. The manager (owner) always answer: we want the customer to be happy but he or she doesnt do anything for it. Would you give me my money back or a credit for the money I spent??? I was not satisfied with your product. I am not a happy customer. I am not laying, I am not going to spend my time if this was not true. So sad that they do not think in the customer, they do not give credit, they do not care if the customer comes back or not. Customers ARE NOT primordial at Cristinas, thats what I felt when I spoke with the manager today.

It took a long time to give tables My friend called to reserve and a man answered that there are no reservations. We were a group of about 20 people there were more people waiting, and they did not take care of them, very bad organization, they needed more personnel. We were seated after 1 hour and it still took a while to get us waiters and to ask what drinks we wanted. and they only put 2 waiters although the waiter who played us was excellent. although it took to arrive with what we asked for. but good in the end everything was fine. They just need more staff so they can give better attention to the client.

I eat alot of Mexican food all around the U.S and this place was awesome. Its very nice on the inside, the staff was friendly and good, the food came in a good time. The food was delicious and looked awesome. I try enjoyed my experience eating here and will definitely come again. The prices were absolutely awesome as well. Edit as of 2023 I have gone back many more times and the staff is great and the food continues to be great. I am really impressed by the food here.

Not sure what happened, but the food today at lunch was awful. We haven t been at Christina s in a while, but the food quality today was awful. We had 7 people in our group and all of it was sub par. Likely not going back.

I think this might be my favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is great and the service is as well. I learned about it a month ago and have been there three times. Even took an out of town guest!

Good typical text mex, I ordered the Chile Relleno, was decent, it was stuffed with brisket which was very tasty. Enjoyed the atmosphere and margaritas. Service was awesome.

Thoroughly disappointed in management. Arrived before storm with 80 mph winds. Was able to place a couple drink orders and a couple quesos and guacamole when power went out. As winds picked up, we helped a few patrons enter who were stuck outside. Checked with some of our group who had not arrived yet. As we waited stressed, the manager and servers stood by wall... not one checked on us or asked if we needed anything... not one word, not even water,,,chips would have been pushing our luck. Understand unknown variables, but hospitality goes a long way for a large group who are waiting over an hour, discussing safety, monitoring storm from phones, and checking on family and friends, etc. A few friends with kids arrived and we helped them in, they entered cold and drenched. Nothing. After a significant amount of time passed, we helped some gather belongings and get to cars. When there were just a couple of us left, manager came over and tapped one of us, asking for payment of the quesos and two drinks received. We paid. We get it. But such lack of heart and service when it mattered most.

Went there for the first time yesterday and the peach/strawberry Margarita was the best. I ordered the Carne Asada with veggies instead of rice and beans and it was so tender and delicious. The service was outstanding. I almost didnt go because of some of the poor reviews. Those people definitely didnt know what they were talking about. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free

I ordered an item and the waiter made fun of the fact that I wanted modifications. People should be able to order food the way we want it and not be made to feel embarrassed about those choices. Some people have allergies or special dietary restrictions. We also ordered veggie tacos, the sweet potatoes were burnt, and the plate was so hot that the tortillas were stuck to the plate and too hot to even hold. The soft taco came with the lettuce and tomato and cheese piled on top of it as it laid sideways. Nothing we ordered was very good, just meh.

My wife and I love Christinas when were close to Trader Joes in McKinney and want amazing, reasonably-priced and scrumptious Mexican food. The ambiance is warm, welcoming, and cheerful. The servers are kind and attentive, and the food is delicious with generous portions. Even the salsa and chips are great.
