I m literally reeling from how terrible this was. I had the Jamaican Curry Goat which came with Dry rice and peas with the rice being super hard. Watery curry and dry plantain. Don t waste your time

New fusion restaurant with tastes from Nigeria to Jamaica. My dad and I were on our way to another restaurant when we saw this one, and we re so glad we rerouted! Everything from the food to the service was amazing. Quality food and excellent customer service. We re already planning to bring our family back when they come to town. Thank you!!

My wife and I just come back from New York and we get Jamaican food on every trip. We stopped here tonight as the last resort not knowing what to eat and we have found Jamaica in McKinney five star for sure. You can literally eat here once a week and wouldn t feel like you ate there too many times.

We came home late and were hungry when we passed by Custer Rd and saw the Open sign at Cubana Grille. We were so happy we decided to stop by and give it a try. The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken was incredibly tender, juicy, and crispy perfectly cooked. We enjoyed our meal so much that we finished every bit on our plates. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. Definitely worth a visit!

I had such a great meal here! The rice and beans were perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the jerk chicken was super tender with just the right amount of spice. The cabbage added a nice fresh crunch, and the puff puffs were warm, crispy, and soft on the inside so good! The staff and owner were really friendly and made sure everything was perfect. I was craving some chicken wings and found this gem in McKinney. It s a fusion between Jamaican food and Nigerian food. Being from South Florida, I am stoked to find some Caribbean food and also try Nigerian cuisine! Definitely don t miss your opportunity to eat here cause it s finger licking good

My family and I had lunch here today. Our server, Nandi, was great. She was helpful and attentive. The food came out faster than I anticipated and was hot and fresh. The Jamaican beef patty is the best I ve ever had in Texas. I also had the jerk chicken, plantain, and jollof. All were really good. The jerk chicken had just the right amount of spice and the plantain was perfect. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back.

The name threw me off initially, then when I realized it was Nigerian and Jamaican Fusion restaurant, I had to give it a try. The restaurant is nicely decorated and feels upscale but relaxed at the same time. Theres Afro Beats playing and the vibe is nice. The food: everything we tried was GOOD. We had The Platter which included your choice of two proteins (we had jerk chicken and curry goat), rice (we had jollof rice), and a side of plantains. We also tried the Jamaican beef patty and the chicken wings. Everything came out hot and fresh and seasoned to perfection. Lastly, the service was amazing. We had questions about the cocoa bread and they brought one of the chefs out to address them directly. FIVE STARS!!!

Whether you are craving a spicy jerk chicken, savory oxtail, or a rich African stew, every dish is cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, and the presentation is spot on. The service was also impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and more than happy to offer recommendations if you are new to the cuisine. You can tell they take pride in what they do, which only adds to the overall experience. If you are in the McKinney area and looking for a unique dining experience Cubana is the place to go. I ordered food and the service was pretty good and kind. The food portions were NOT worth it. I ordered the oxtail plate and I got 1 regular size oxtail and 3 of the smallest I ve ever seen that was mostly bone with a huge portion of rice that is mediocre. I paid almost $50 and it didn t even fill me up because of the lack of meat. I was disappointed with my food experience. I did start eating before I took this picture, so this is not what they gave me.

Very proud of Yetunde Adeyemo and family for presenting this amazing concept to McKinney and the DFW area. I had the Jamaican Curry Goat, fried Plantains, Cabbage and Nigerian Fried Rice. All wonderful well balanced flavors. Not overwhelming spice. Enjoyed all! The service was great and bonded with customer Rich while waited. The staff even laughed at my bad jokes!! Great people! Parking: New center being finished now. They need help in humans finding the great restaurant
