went through drive through and asked for 14 tacos for the family and a decent amount of hot sauce. She then made me park and wait and i asked her if the hot sauce was in there and she said yes. I went through all the boxes and there was 0 hot sauces. I then went inside to where the older gentleman was arguing with me saying the hot sauces were in the bag but i already checked. He then gave me a couple for 14 tacos.

While going to this location, I had a very lackluster experience. Its unfortunate because this location is so convenient and usually on par. Upon arrival inside the store I gave a kind acknowledgement to all employees that made eye contact with me. There was on in particular that did not respond (Jazmine. I saw her name tag). She then preceeded to approach the register ignoring me without any response like someone will be right with you etc. Jazmine then started whistling to the back (still standing at the register) until another employee came clearly from another task. Jazmine then disappeared without communicating with her co workers whatsoever. It looked very disrespectful. When she handed me my ice cream she simply stated here and when I asked for a napkin, she silently pointed to the despinser behind me. She was extremely withdrawn. The whole experience illuminated the workplace environment as one that is less supportive to staff that actively work and enable the behavior of employees (Jazmine) with poor customer service.

Ive been going to this Dairy Queen for decades, it is a part of my fond childhood memories. I am a long time fan of this establishment. On my most recent trip I was sadly disappointed in my familys experience with this particular store. The employees were unhappy and we even witnessed an unfortunate exchange between a dissatisfied customer and an angry employee. They were both verbally aggressive with each other, it was an uncomfortable situation. We ordered take out and when we got home, we were missing a few items and our food quality was very poor, cold and minimal. We paid around $65 and only were able to eat half of our food due to the above reasons. It may have been an off night for these employees that I interacted with at the front counter, Im willing to give grace to them, as I do not know what thier night was like.

The employees looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there. No smiles, zero customer service skills. We ordered take out and they forgot our fries, our kid drink, the cheese on our cheeseburger and the fries we did get were not even filled. The blizzards were soft and wilty looking. While there, another customer asked for her order to be fixed and one employee told her to F-off and the lady told her not to be rude but the employee just got snippy with her. After that I didnt dare complain about my order. Those kids working did not give a hoot and I didnt want my fries tampered with by a disgruntled employee, so I didnt ask for then to fix my order. But I did fill out the survey and complained there. I was kind and friendly to the staff because you never know what is going on in thier life. But I was disappointed in how I was treated back and the sad quality of food. We love DQ but we will not be back to this location.

Stopped in for a quick bite with my girls. Kudos to the staff behind the counter. They had a line for the driveway in the street and a line inside as well. They did well dealing with the rush, all very polite, and the food itself was freshly made. I can t give the same positive comments for the environment inside though. Must be the spot for the homeless to hang out inside. A couple of gentleman started a loud argument that scared several children in the restaurant. Another one came in drunk and sat a few tables away from us. For a couple minutes, he could be seen just standing and staring in our direction. Not a good vibe and definitely not a good first impression.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS???? If your hours say close at 10:30pm I would expect that the kitchen is still open when showing up 40 minutes before that time at 9:50pm. The hours posted say close at 1030pm!!! Your employee says it closes at 10pm so they arent cooking anymore food-at 9:50pm. Also they were very rude and not what I what Ive ever experienced at any drive through in collin county. They just made people wait in line while they chit chatted. Im assuming its a management or district management issue, bc idk how theyve allowed this to go on for so long. Me and my fiance ordered a blizzard and a chocolate dipped cone and the ice cream tasted rotten. Only took one bite and threw it away instantly. Also, the cashier lady had an attitude that you can see on her face, even rolled her eyes at my finance when he asked to make sure the cone was dipped in chocolate because she didn t respond to us at the speaker. Horrible experience and I have been to multiple Dairy Queen locations before ACROSS THE COUNTRY as we are all the way from Illinois and have been traveling for years now.

This owner needs to hire a drive thru crew with at least a minimal level of customer service effort. In this DQ drive thru youre going to get spoken to with zero inflection and not have your order read back to you, then at the window youre going to have your order handed to you without a smile or a thank you. Blizzards are normally top notch nut sometimes, you can tell they didnt clean it properly from the last one, because you cab taste the flavors that arent normally there if they had been cleaned. Terrible experience. Ordered a steak fingers and fries meal through the drive-thru, but the fries were cold. I parked and went inside to let them know my fries were cold. The entire staff, including the manager sitting around the corner, were extremely rude and unapologetic. Instead, they stared and made rude comments at me, making me feel as if though I was the one at fault for having paid $16 dollars and expecting fresh hot food. They were so unprofessional and rude they even had the gall to request the cold fries back, as if was lying, and they mentioned the manager was upset that I had gone back inside to refill my drink. I would have given a zero rating if it was an option because they dont even deserve one star. I will be driving out of the way to Culvers where the food is fresh, hot, and better tasting, and the staff and managers are properly trained to take proper care of their customers. Learn to be kind and friendly, but most importantly, learn to be empathetic and sympathetic.

I have passed this location everyday for almost a year, and theres always a line going out into the street. I was curious what all the hype was about, and honestly Im confused. The food was meh. Not much else to say. The chicken tenders were over cooked and it kind of tasted like old grease. The fries has a weird rubbery texture, and has a plasticky hint to them. most of the meal was lukewarm to cold. My boyfriend said the burger was alright. But he had to put his own condiments on it for it to taste decent. And his sprite wasnt very carbonated. A little flat. I also didnt like their drink selection for the kids meals. They should have juice boxes of some kind. The price for 2 kids meals, one basket, and one burger combo totalled over 32 dollars. Incredibly expensive for the portions and taste. Not worth the lines out onto the street.

This location obviously cant read a Door Dash order. We received french fries instead of onion rings, didnt receive the drink with the combo at all, paid extra for onions but none were on the sandwich, received a totally wrong flavor blizzard not even close to what we ordered & the other drink was sweet tea instead of unsweet tea. Horrible. Went for ice cream on a hot Saturday night in June. Only two cars in drive thru and parking lot empty. Should have been a warning. Cashier who took order not personable. Flat disinterested monotone as if she preferred she didn t have to take an order. I ordered a small hot fudge Sundae. There was nobody in front of me when I got there. One couple in the store. I stood at the counter for about 5 minutes while the woman at the register looked at a tablet and entered orders. I was doing a food delivery so time was important. She took her time entering those orders again, about 5 minutes, before she even asked how I could be helped. I also have been in the restaurant business for several years. I would definitely take care of the person standing in front of me. I think this person was a manager also. For the owner/ GM Samsung pay does not cost you any extra or more than a regular card swipe. I completely understand Apple pay not being allowed but Samsung pay is a completely different technology that allows it to be a contactless payment form. What is costing you more money is using a keypad with a non working chip reader and swipe function not working causing your employees to manually type the card information. So, how come its not advertised the employees need extra time to clean up hot food and therefore do not offer it even when still open? Why is it now acceptable to have lazy and incompetent managers who do not seem to know how to maintain a business? This is quite common among many stores, but this was surprising. So, they get a 20 minute head start for cleaning, so they stop hot food orders. Laziness. How do fast food employees demand $15 an hour, but refuse to work for it? I am and when you guys do this, it impedes on my income as well disrupts a customer. Good job for being apart of the problem.

Terrible service. Went in because drive thru was closed off. Ordered & waited, & waited, & waited. So after 4 groups(4+ per group) of consumers order & get their food as I silently wait, manager walks by, ignores me, by this time more people come in. Finally I just walked out. I dont even care about about the $ i just spent, hopefully it fed someone else. Its the principle of it really. I will never return to this DQ in Mckinney ever again. Felt like being in the trashy hood of south Dallas all over again. Absolutely terrible & absurd. This is as polite & honest as one can possibly put it. The wait at whataburger is way more worth it cause this place needs a serious make over from top to bottom, staff & all.

I like the food at Dairy Queen but I dont like the way you operate your drive thru now. It use to work much better and faster when people who were still waiting for their order would park in the spots marked drive-thru stop spots. Now you let them just sit and wait in line until its ready causing a line to form out onto Virginia Pkwy.

I visited with my husband and daughter. The store was clean, but a bit of a time capsule, equipped with classic country music. The employees all seemed diligent. By a fluke, something happened to our order and it was lost. After I went up to ask about our order status after seeing some people after us served, several personnel immediately looked into it. Within a minute, the manager was over talking to us and making it right. He admitted that they made a mistake, apologized, and fixed it. We hadnt even really complained, just checked on the order. It is SO refreshing to visit a venue that still cares about customer service. Well definitely be back. As we left, even the new employee who made the mistake smiled at us and thanked us for coming. That takes integrity. Dietary restrictions: They now have dairy-free popsicles

We waited in the drive thru for over 30 mins. while 4 high school-aged employees sat in the dining room. Another was just walking around. One girl was running the drive thru: taking orders and making them. Each of the 3 cars in front of us had 2-4 ice cream items (4 were just cones).No food. It was ridiculous!!!

Not much we changed at this DQ and that s exactly what we want. Feels like summer as a kid every time I come in. The drive thru is a trap. Just park and walk inside. You ll thank me.

Blizzard was tasty as usual! The fries I received wasnt up to par so I asked for fresh fries (nicely). I was told to park on side to wait for more fries to be made, after waiting I received the same fries I just ordered. The shift lead brought the order asking what I didnt like about the 1st order, and still gave me same fries. #NORESPECT

Really wanted a treat. No chocolate Ice Cream. Cashier smacking on gum behind plastic shield. Not friendly. Asked to not stand in one section that they had cleaned already. Portions were good. Female possibly manager was nice.
