I recently rented The Sanctuary for my daughters graduation party, and I couldnt be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The venue itself is stunning, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms that provided the ideal setting for our celebration. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of and that we had everything we needed. Thank you Jennifer. One of the highlights was the flexibility they offered in terms of setup and customization. We were able to personalize the space to match our vision, and the result was absolutely magical. The audiovisual equipment was top-notch, making the slideshow and music presentations seamless and enjoyable for everyone. Parking was ample and convenient, which made the arrival and departure hassle-free for all our guests. Overall, this place provided an exceptional experience that made my daughters graduation party memorable and special. I highly recommend this venue for any event they truly go above and beyond to ensure a successful and joyous occasion.

Nice setup, certainly these people are interested in supporting live music in Texas. Plenty of space and there are no bad tables in the room. We went specifically to see one of our favorite bands, Madam Radar and never had a bad show with them. Actually, each show seems to get better. If you have time and want something to eat, Cavallis Pizzeria is a short walk away and worth the trip.

Great place and all but if you are a photographer there, they will ask for the photos, post them on social media and never give you credit for them. When asked whey wouldnt they credit the photographer, they never answer. Just a bad way to dismiss the photographers work and talent. Dont give them your photos.

Beat the rush at 5pm. Always a family choice with numerous options. I always come back to the sirloin fried steak and mashed potatoes with extra gravy. Tonight, as an option, I ordered baked beans with brisket. First bite, absolutely cold. The first time, I had to ask the server to microwave. I was shocked as this was the first time I had ever had to send something back. I could understand if there were more than two tablespoons of beans.

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at The Sanctuary, and it was amazing! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the location in Adriatica Village is filled with beautiful and unique spots for photos. Our primary contact, Jennifer, was great to work with and was patient with us and all of our questions and special requests - thanks to her and her team, our special day went off without a hitch. I hosted my moms 60th birthday/NYE celebration at The Sanctuary! From the day I first spoke with Jennifer about booking, she was absolutely pleasant! The event turned out to be one for the books! When my family and friends walked in, it was like they walked into an oasis and we partied the night away! I couldnt have selected a more beautiful venue to celebrate my mom and usher in 2023! Beautiful venue in west McKinney. The main hall is spacious, plenty of room for any event. Great acoustics, PowerPoint and video capabilites, and a stage that can be seem from all parts of the hall. This venue was everything we had hoped for! With their stage, it optimizes the viewing experience for the guests. The lighting was perfect and the video recording we received from the venue was far better that we expected to receive. So many camera angles! The communication during the planning process was exceptional and having a coordinator there during the event was so helpful. I will never recommend this place as a company or as a reception venue to any one. Please stay away from this place. I planned for this place to be my wedding reception at least in a year in advance. Due to COVID reasons I had to cancel my reception because it hit a little too close to home as someone in my immediate family was positive for COVID. Every other venue or vender I dealt with for my wedding was more than willing to work with us on giving some or even all of our money back. Not only were they not willing to give us a single penny back but the staff was not sorry about it. In fact they were rude about the whole situation. The received thousands of dollars from us for the reception for doing absolutely nothing. Please please please stay away from this place. In their contract they purposely worded it to if anything were to happen and you have to cancel (yes, even a pandemic) they get to keep your money. Edit: we were contacted by the company and asked to take down the reviews in exchange for giving us some of our money back. Well of course being them after telling us this and making us think we were going to get some of our money back we were told that the owner of the company (being the mayor of McKinney) says that he is I quote not motivated enough to give us any of our money back . Needless to say I of course am putting my reviews back up to show what kind of company these people run.

We had our wedding reception here and it was beautiful! There are 2 levels and we wanted games upstairs for entertainment for our guests, and the dancing and dinner was downstairs. The staff was very accommodating to what we wanted and saw our vision with us! We had a gorgeous, fun wedding! Im so glad the team at the Sanctuary was there to help us make the day perfect!

Second time for a show and it is a nice smaller venue with good lighting and acoustics. I d give it a 5 but I approached the emcee/host and even though he looked right at me completely blew me off to talk to someone who approached him after I had.

Wonderful place for live and up close exceptional guitar performances. In fact, the real name is The Guitar Sanctuary. Local diva Mailee Thomas is co-creator and co-founder founder of this place. If you havent heard her, check her out on Pandora or itunes. Only complaint is that the acoustics need wall dampening. Performers, especially vocals, sound a bit muddy. Also, less decibels are more, Mailee. Hope you dial it back a bit and let the performances shine a bit more. All in all a great intimate spot for live music, in same vein as the Majestic or Kessler, but modern and closer for those of us living up north. This place will only get better over time.

Will not go back. At the John Waite show (which was fantastic!!!! ) the promoter took up a lot of time promoting his own business. Very unprofessional. The opening band was totally inappropriate for the show. Food was overpriced for average quality. The venue had been changed from another place, and we originally had VIP seating. At Guitar Sanctuary, they stuck us in the general admission with no explanation or apology. Interior was tacky castle theme. If John Waite had not been so incredible, we would have left immediately.
