Great breakfast spot! I have been here several times since they opened and it has been consistently great food and service. Plenty of seating and a nice, large covered patio as well. The food comes out fast and is fresh and good quality unlike a lot of places these days. Friendly service is of course nice to have as well! Keep up the great work!

My wife is Vegetarian, ordered Greek Omelet (marked as a vegetarian dish in the menu), and found out that there is meat in her omelet after eating half of the dish. Also the managers handling of this grave situation was not satisfactory. Will not go again. Vegetarian options: Found meat in my Veggie Greek Omelet.

I recently visited Broken Egg for brunch and was overall impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a leisurely meal. The menu offered a wide variety of options, from classic breakfast dishes to more creative creations. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced. However, I did find the prices to be a bit higher than I expected for a breakfast spot. The service was friendly and attentive, although it took a while for our food to arrive. Overall, I would recommend Broken Egg for a special occasion or a treat.

Visited for the first time today and I can say I d be back. Although it wasn t busy, it took a while to be greeted. After being seated by our waiter we dived into the fun menu which offered a large variety that can cater to just about anyone. Food and drinks came out fast. I ended up getting the classic Benedict that did not disappoint! Also ordered both the mimosa flights, what a boozy treat to say the least. The restaurant has plenty of space inside and out, great environment for all people of all ages. Nice chill place. If you are in the area I highly recommend visiting. Parking: Small parking stalls

We came here straight from our Church; and we have seen this place in 121, when they were still building it. There was a wait of 20mins, but it was not really that bad. We got sat down and our server, Hailey, was on top of it. She recommended a full size option for a kid menu our son wanted and that really helped a lot, being that it was off menu. We, the parents ordered, and although they ran out of the seasonal drink I wanted in the beginning, Hailey came right back and offered alternatives. I have to say though, our food did not come promptly and once they figured that out, Hailey and their GM, Alicia, were on top of it and within minutes our food came out fresh. We ordered the chicken and waffle, el fuego omelette and short stack banana pancakes. They were all excellent! The chicken was seasoned perfectly and was juicy. The el fuego was flavorful and so compact! The banana pancakes did not just have bananas on top, they were in the pancakes! And because of the inconvenience of us getting out food later than expected, Alicia the GM came and talked to us and explained what happened, without making excuses, and covered our bill for us that day! That is very uncommon nowadays when most they will do for you now for YOUR inconvenience is a discount or a gift check for your next visit. We really did appreciate everyone s concern and promptness once a problem was discovered, and how they jumped into solving it right away and making us feel heard. Good job to this Sunday brunch team today for going above and beyond! Definitely will be coming back and hopefully with friends! Vegetarian options: They have a healthy option on the menu. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and a play area outside in the courtyard.

First off, let me say, this plaza does not necessarily have that much storefront parking, however, when it comes to the food, it was absolutely delicious! I had the chicken and waffles egg Benedict 9/10! Would not recommend the house fries because they re basically semi-fried potato chips - hopefully they pick up on this and start offering regular fries. Overall 9/10! Service is decent, but it could be better because no one came to check up on us once we got our food for refills or anything else.

They have a great selection of Mimosa and bloody Mary flavors. Everything started off good... The drinks and food came out super fast. After that, our waitress pretty much ghosted us. I asked for salsa and 5 minutes or so later my wife finally had to go track down the waitress to remind her. We didnt see her again until we got the check which I had to stand up and look around until I got her attention. I wasnt terribly impressed with the food...I got the no name omelette with hash browns and a biscuit with a side of gravy. Overall I thought it was a little bland. My wife got eggs Benedict with grits and she really liked hers. I would say its on the higher end of pricing as well; the total was $56 before tip and I only had one bloody Mary. There are so many breakfast and brunch options out there so its a competitive market and for me there just wasnt enough to make me want to go back, unfortunately.

The greater entertainment space advertised a College football game on their big screen. My lovely wife and I sat on the patio and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere while watching the game. Comfortable seats, fans, and an open view all added to the ambiance. The area provides play areas with soft turf that is ideal for children of most ages. As for the Broken Yolk, our wait staff was new and/or in-training so refills were not automatic but they Ashley and Jenny were extremely friendly.

I had some trouble with my online order processing and tried to follow the instructions that were sent to me so that my order could continue to be processed and I would just pay in person when I was supposed to pick up my order. When I got there, one host was blocking the entrance completely and only allowed me to enter after telling him I had an online order to pick up. When I tried to leave the first time, he blocked the exit as well and wouldn t move for sometime. The second time I returned when my food was supposed to be ready - I was allowed to wait inside. While waiting there were 2 elderly men that weren t allowed to wait inside even though they expressed that the heat was not making them feel well. The host still made them wait outside. Then as I continued to wait for my food I observed on countless occasions the host make comments and gestures that I found disrespectful and unprofessional. The restaurant itself is really pretty and the food is okay but I will most definitely won t be returning as the hospitality was horrible to experience and witness.

My friend and I were so looking forward to trying this restaurant. I can t say anything about the food, but we were told there would be a 30-45 minute wait. I finally checked at 35 minutes and there were still 9 ahead of us. There were tables open but they wouldn t seat people. I asked about it and they said that people get angrier when they sit and aren t served in a timely manner vs. standing and waiting. Seriously?? I think people are happier sitting and at least getting something to drink. There aren t any seats for waiting; it s standing room only. There s a great patio and I counted 8 open tables out there, and several open inside. Maybe the Broken Yolk needs to hire some more staff! They were finally telling people that it would be a 1-1/2 wait. We went to another restaurant and got seated right away.

People here have no idea what customer service is. The blonde girl at the front is rude and has no idea how to seat people in a timely manner. Switch her to bussing tables and put someone competent at the front so this place doesn t go under! Food is great. Management better get a handle on this before they close this place down! After waiting an hour and a half for a table, we were told that they can seat us but we won t be waited on for at least another 20 min . Good food but not worth three hours of your time. Go elsewhere and get good food and great service! Trust me!

Im giving it at least 2 stars for the ambience and decor. I ordered a cinnamon Toast crunch mixed drink and it really just tastes like milk and cinnamon. I was expecting to taste a good amount of rumchata in there. Nothing about it gave cinnamon toast crunch. You guys could have at least crunched up the cereal and put some on top to make it look as advertised. Our food came out cold after the manager and 2 employees stood at the back and stared at us clearly talking about us for no reason. We just sat quietly waiting on our food. Biscuits and gravy were not good. I went to choctaw right after i left this place and had the best biscuits and gravy AT A CASINO. Cheese grits were good though. Work on your menu please and quality of food. I can guarantee if it stays at this level the good reviews are going to be washed right under the bad ones.

The hash browns were still white, I had scrambled eggs and they had half melted cheese on top. The commercialized sausage patties weren t completely heated all the way through. Pretty disgusting experience. The manager did attempt to come and smooth the situation over by telling me that they don t season their food because people tell them that their food can be overly done. Shame. I would highly recommend downloading their app to use the waitlist. Being the first weekend there were some errors but nothing serious and the manager took care of the issue right away. In fact we had a total of the managers stop by the table at different intervals to make sure everything was OK. Food was excellent as was the variety. They have some signature dishes and sides we will definitely go back for.

Draya was friendly, provided great recommendations and service, and overall made the dining experience fantastic. Our orders came out in a reasonable amount of time, given how new and busy the establishment was. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and checked in on us. The food is also delicious! I had the Wild West Burger, and it was perfectly cooked. The burger and toppings were flavorful and tasted fantastic. The messy latte is messy (caramel around rim and glass) but tasted good as well. The decor and vibe inside create a welcoming feeling that feels fresh, friendly, and charming. I highly recommended Broken Yolk its a great breakfast/brunch/lunch place.

Ordered a Moms omelet with fruit, wheat toast and cheese grits. First, let me say this; the grits were off the chain! Just so good! I was a little disappointed in the omelet because I didnt realize it didnt contain any meat, yet it was still good and big! The staff there are very friendly; well, the staff I meet were friendly and my waitress was very attentive to me. I was about to ask her to fill my water glass and didnt have to as she had already filled it. I love fruit, but I did have a little trouble eating it since some of the fruit was a little hard. These are some of the reasons for the 4 stars on the food and 4 stars on the review. Everything else was spot on. Ill be sure to look at the menu properly next time and get omelets with meat in them, since Ill definitely go back. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had first visited Broken Yolk during our trip to Las Vegas where the manager had told us about the McKinney location opening up - we were so excited and couldn t wait! The hostess was extremely friendly and told us that their menu was slightly varied compared to the Vegas location. We were informed that Chase was to be our server and after roughly 5-6 minutes started to get frustrated that we had not been greeted. After 12 minutes (exact time noted because we felt bad for walking in at 2:08 and seeing on the door they closed at 3:00) we decided to leave after not being greeted by anyone. We are likely to try another time as we know their credibility of food from the Vegas location.
