I ate here today. Friendly staff, bad atmosphere. I ordered the mckinney scrambler its smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and i got the fruit bowl. Its on the favorited menue The salmon was definitely not 5 ounces. It was also mixed with the scrambled eggs so you couldn t tell, it also tasted horrible. Like my body knew something was wrong with it, and I was right as not even an hour later it s giving me diarrhea. I couldn t even finish the plate. It was so bad. I tried adding the lemon the hot sauce, the salt and pepper, it did not help. I tried to power through it. I don t think I even got a quarter of the way through. thank God, they comped my food or at least the fish. I ate the fruit bowl. It was small and almost 5 dollars. It had about six pieces of fruit only about two pieces were ripe. I will probably never come back here again. The lesson I ve learned from this location, never get salmon from a breakfast place. Response to owner What ive had has disgusted me to such an extent i will not go here again. Not only that i will tell anyone who will listien that this food will make u sick. I regret having branched out to try this. My first experience will be my only experience. i hate that i spent any money here at all. I was hungry because since 8 o clock, I was moving out a storage building moving heavy furniture, boxes things like that. I decided I was done for the day and that I was hungry and wanted a coffee so I got Dutch Bros amazing. Instead of going to Sheesh which I know is good. I decided to try your location that food was so bad and I hated my experience so much that I decided to spend another two hours moving furniture just so I could get away from it and try to forget the experience I had. I don t know what your kitchen looks like, but I swear to God and all that is holy and unholy I will never eat at your location or anything you own again .

My bf recommended this place. We waited maybe 25 minutes for a table. Honestly, considering that all breakfast places are usually busy on Sunday mornings, we were happy to wait. Our server, Allie, was so nice and sweet. She apologized for the late wait times and explained everything, although it wasn t necessary. I d been a server and knew the troubles and difficulties that can come with it. My bf had the chicken fried chicken with hash brown and pancakes. I had the very berry waffle and fresh fruit parfait. When ordering, Allie said it was the best thing on the menu. She s right! Fruit was very fresh, yogurt was delicious, and the waffle was soft and fluffy. I ll definitely be back.

Service was good. The food was just mediocre.When I eat at brunch type restaurants I always get the grits. The grits here were watery and lumpy. I love the restaurants that make thick and creamy grits. The breakfast sausage had an odd taste. Eggs and pancakes were typical. I ll be back, as the service was really good. I ll try a lunch item next time.

Trash staff. Trash management. My son and I came in to eat lunch. Waited at the hostess stand to be seated. Didnt get seated so we sat down at a table, ya know, like normal people. After 10 minutes, I have to flag down a server to ask if we are going to get service. She says she doesnt know!? Im sorry, what? Then the manager, I presume, comes over incredibly rude acting like WE were in the wrong for sitting down without being seated. Ill serve you, but you need to wait to be seated. Lol, dont do me any favors. Dont eat at this KARENS restaurant. This was my first and last time in this place. There are plenty of places in McKinney to eat with great service. This isnt one of them.

First the good news...the service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is clean and not too loud. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning late and just beat the church rush. The bad news here is that the food is mediocre at best. My wife ordered the belgian waffle which was fine (hard to mess that up), but the butter was straight out of the fridge and unspreadable on the waffle. The chicken apple sausage was ok, but was basically just warmed thru and not hot. The hash browns were not hot nor crispy. They tasted like day-old baked potato. I ordered the Florentine benedict and asked for the English Muffin to be very well toasted before all the wet stuff was added so that it would keep some texture in the final dish - it was barely toasted and was extremely soggy just a few minutes in. I LOVE hollandaise sauce, but there was 2x the amount there should have been and was NOT hot. The tomatoes in the benedict were cold and unseasoned (should have been grilled so the raw spinach would wilt). Of course since the middle of the benedict was cold, the spinach never wilted. The eggs were cooked well but that couldnt make up for the rest of the dish. Overall we were disappointed since this place was highly rated on Google. We likely wont return.

We ve been going to B & B Cafe for the past 3 years and it is consistently good. I usually have the chicken fried chicken, my sister has the Bacado Omelette and our 89 y.o. Mother loves their biscuits & gravy. Kristen is our favorite waitress and always goes above & beyond to make sure we are taken care of. The portions are substantial and the prices are better than most breakfast/lunch places. We highly recommend and most definitely will be back!!

First time experience, the staff and atmosphere were exceptional and by observing some of the other customers, it is a place of repeat customers. Unfortunately, our meals were less than satisfactory. The first cups of coffee were lukewarm, next cups got better but we never received a hot cup of coffee. Our skillet breakfast entrees arrived and looked amazing, however, the hash browns were overcooked (as if cooked and recooked) and were also not freshly hot. Even though the entrees were not hot, the taste was very good. I strongly believe that if the plates had been made fresh and served hot my review would be nothing short of outstanding. Now in speaking to the hostess. this is a family owned business and I encourage support of same but today s visit fell short and it was a bummer for my wife and I. I still tipped professionally because our waitress and hostess were AWESOME! First impression of the B & B Cafe fell short. I know that good staff is a challenge, however, with pricing we paid, I had a stronger expectation. We will consider returning.

We are regulars at B&B and have been since it opened nearly three years ago. Things we love about this restaurant: 1. Consistency in food quality everything weve had on the menu has been delicious, and everything always tastes just how we remembered. 2. Quick Service Food is brought to the table at just the right time and while its still hot. 3. Great Staff From the kind woman who always greets us, to the wait staff, to the owner; everyone is always polite, and happy to make menu recommendations. (Get the hand-made onion rings with a side of ranch also made in-house!) 4. Short Wait They turn tables quickly. (does not apply to Mothers Day, Fathers Day, other holidays or with the entitled Sunday church crowd taking their sweet time, not caring at all about the community of hungry people waiting to eat.) 5. Great Food at a Fair Price The prices (while still about $1-2 more than I wish per item) are on par for McKinney and the quality and quantity of the food meet the cost expectations. Ive only had two very minor issues in probably 40+ visits to this restaurant: 1. There is one waiter (who might actually be kin to the owning family) that is not as attentive, engaging, friendly, or motivated to move very fast like every other waiter/waitress weve been served by. So, if we see him, we just ask to be seated in another section. This is the EXECEPTION and not the rule here; he may just be covering shifts from time to time. Rarely seen. (See: #3 above) 2. I miss the mobile app A small thing, I know, but they had a mobile app that appears to have been abandoned or the vendor they use isnt keeping it up very well. We used to earn a discount with repeat visits by checking in, but that feature doesnt work and there used to be coupons, but they dont load. SUMMARY: Go here and go here often. You wont regret it. Show up in the 11 oclock hour for lunch and beat the crowd.

DO NOT BELIEVE REVIEWS. I usually treat myself once or twice a week to a nice meal. I never had a breakfast with hollandaise sauce. I ordered the crab cakes with the eggs and sauce. I could hear the microwave in the back while waiting. I was a little concerned and much to my concerns when getting my breakfast you could tell the sauce had been microwaved because of the lazy kitchen workers. The consistency came out like snack bar cheese that had been sitting for awhile. It wasn t even that warm so you could tell. Also after removing the crab cake from the toppings they were so floppy and soft you can tell they didn t even cook them that long or they were precooked. 16 dollar breakfast what a waste. While the whole kitchen laughed and joked why they put out food that is by far my worse breakfast purchase ever. That is after many breakfasts at many places. The server did offer to replace it but not after trying the first meal was I going to risk that. If I wasn t the type to eat whatever you are given because you don t have much extra money to have a choice I just ate what I could. Also when I think of breakfast place I think of good energy early. Both guys seem to be night people or stayed up to late or just weren t into working probably the best day to work as a server on a Sunday. They shouldn t open until 10 if that is the vibe you give. 1 hour of work worth of money loss. Sad to have started the day like that. Thanks B&B

I m disappointed I have to write this review. I had a very bad experience at B&B café. I ordered avocado-toast, and oatmeal. The avocado tasted rotten. The oatmeal was slimy. The coffee was lukewarm and not hot. The service was OK. I will definitely not be returning here! The food is really good. I m always a fan of breakfast, lunch and dinner using the same skillet top. It adds a flavor that I prefer. The wait to be seated is usually not long, although the older hostess is not very friendly. Unsure why she seems unhappy or grumpy. I (like a few others) am not a fan of watching the staff eat while working or serving patrons. I am glad the service staff are fed and cared for, and are always very friendly with us.

We just love that we stumbled upon this local Family restaurant! They put their heart and soul into this business and it shows! Absolutely delicious! I met a girlfriend at the cafe, first time for both of us, and we loved it! The cafe has a nice, cozy atmosphere. It had a Greek vibe with tons of delectable meals. As I looked across the room, every meal looked just as tasty, from sandwiches to breakfast and lunch entrees. We ordered the McKinney scrambler and turkey pesto panini, $25 total for both of us. I will definitely be back Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. Parking: The restaurant is attached to a commercial strip, so there is plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: I am in a wheelchair. Theres plenty of space for wheelchair users to move around and accommodating tables.

Went here for breakfast with my friends. Waitress was super sweet and food came out quickly. The bathroom was giving horror movie. There were dead flies in the huge gap between the booth and the window. Food was edible at best. The crepes had contrived sauces and were mushy. The hash browns were frozen from a bag. 5/23 B&B cafe, has its own diner vibe. We had great tasting coffee, breakfast yogurt parfait and breakfast quesadilla. Honestly I have to ranked this quesadilla as in my top two of all rankings. We got seated and our very efficient server took our orders. Food came most quickly. All tasted so good. Clean restaurant and solid staffing. You may want to give them a try. We ll be back

We need more places like this and I m happy to support them. The food was top notch and we eat out a lot and this place is amazing. Very Berry Waffles knocks it out of the park . Open on Sundays! Great since most resturants arent. First time here, greeted and seated immediately. Clean friendly atmosphere. Ordered and got our food in a timely manner. Everything was hot & fresh! Flavorful and home made type of meal! The ONLY complaint I have is that their kids mac & cheese is kraft like... Not original... Hate paying $7 for a $1 thing I could have made at home.... Ill avoid to order that next time but other than that, our chicken, waffles, fries, etc. was delicious and we will be back!

Please Tip the Waitstaff Appropriately! We have been here many times and the food is always great and the waitstaff friendly and helpful. We were saddened this morning to see our favorite waitress nearly in tears, and she hesitantly told us that it was because the family of 10 next to us that stayed for well over an hour and left a mess everywhere only left a $4 tip on a $100 bill. It s sadly not the first time we have seen this happen here and the waitstaff does not deserve to be treated that way. If you re not used to tipping then get with the program. If you don t believe you should have to tip then don t eat out or get drive thru. Be better, please

Eating breakfast at the B&B Cafe was fabulous. That was a wait as usual on Sunday morning, but it went pretty fast. Although it was crowded, the wait staff treated us very nicely. Parking is a little difficult when its crowded but you just have to walk a bit. We used a gift card and there was some problems with it, but the owner came over and talked to us about it. We were pleased with the solution.

It was absolutely horrible. I genuinely was excited to try this place because I always saw the crowds of people outside. I went in around 12:30 pm on Sunday and was told the wait time was 20 mins. I waited and I ended up waiting almost 40 mins which I was fine but it was annoying when people that came after me were seated before me. It started off with horrible service and deliberately seated me an hour later. The food was mediocre and absolutely disappointing. The hash browns had no seasoning and my Benedict had a sad soggy English muffin. I dont understand how this place has such a high rating because I wouldnt even come back. I can make better food at home so save yourself the trip and find a better breakfast place.

We have been going to B&B for breakfast as often as possible for over a year and, to be frank, Im hesitant to publicly post anything for fear of having to wait longer for a table. But, to be fair to this cafe, I must... Everything we have tried there has been good. My favorite is their Signature Cinnamon French Toast. And my wifes favorite is their Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. I eat enough eggs at home, LOL. Not a big place - rather small but it does not feel too crowded even when they are at full capacity. All I can say is that you should give it a try and you should be pleased. Prices are very reasonable.

Party of one and was seated immediately in a booth although there were 2 parties of two ahead of me. Super busy when I arrived. Biscuit was great, but the butter was nearly frozen and never melted by the time I was done. Small detail but a hot buttered biscuit is a 10! Chorizo omellete had hardly any chorizo. Customer Service here is disgusting! I am pregnant and ordered a meal I could not eat and management at first refused to not take off the meal knowing I did not eat the meal stating that he had wasted his products on me. He was very rude and inconsiderate of the fact that I was pregnant and also accused me of not even being pregnant. Told me at the end that he would take it off after much back and forth but that he wouldn t do anything else should we come back and that it would essentially be on us. News flash, we re not coming back due to the disrespect and down right disgusting customer service we received from the manager and team. This place is not worth the headache we will dine elsewhere, where service standards are up to part going forward and I strongly recommend that others do the same! Enough said, management like this ruins the entire experience and who wants to dine at a place that leaves such a disgusting taste in your mouth as this one! Not I!

Local spot with tons of choices with very attractive prices. Portion sizes are massive though, sometimes splitting a dish with someone is the move. I usually opt for their omelettes but their benedicts are super tasty, pancakes to die for, and their hash browns always hit the spot. I got the salmon benedict last time I visited and I definitely found a new favorite on the menu.

Great food! The Bacado omelet was stacked full! Huge hashbrown portion and the biscuits were divine! Probably the best biscuit I can remember having in a long time. Ill go back for that alone! We needed to waste some time so we stopped in for brunch. Wrong place to go to waste time. We were seated immediately and our server was the within seconds. We ordered our food and it was out faster than I have ever gotten food at a restaurant. I ordered the Bacoda omelette and my wife ordered the French toast. Both were excellent. I was surprised by how good the grits were. The grits are hot or miss in most restaurants. I cant wait to go back. Parking: Several spots as it is in the parking lot.
