Came here to celebrate our anniversary and it was soooo worth the hour drive! The food was soooo delicious. Everything was cooked perfect and we got to celebrate by trying something new, which we really enjoyed! Terrible service to tourists if you dont have a Texas ID you cant buy a beer, they didnt accept my Mexican passport or my visa they told me I had to be 25 years old to sell me alcohol because tbc had banned it even so I spent 200 dollars on dinner that the It was really horrible I dont recommend it!!! Btw There was no paper in the bathroom haha disgusting!! Our waiter was super good, its not his fault! Terrible management for a Latin restaurant in the Texas Valley!

La Doble M did a phenomenal job at an event I hosted in the large private room. We had over 50 in attendance and they executed the event flawlessly. My husband and I flew into McAllen for a 2 day business trip. We were in town about 2 hours when he became ill. After getting him settled at the hotel I set out to find some dinner after a long day of travel. When my restaurant of choice was closed, the Lyft driver suggested La Doble M because it was nearby. I m SO glad I tried it! I usually hate dining alone, but my server Jose made sure I felt comfortable and visited with me several times for a moment despite being very busy. The guacamole was fresh and absolutely delicious. The sour dough rolls were to die for! I looked over the tray of steaks and chose a beautifully marbled ribeye. It was cooked to absolute perfection and served piping hot. For sides I chose grilled mushrooms and Mac & cheese and both were delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was upscale but not uncomfortable. I would recommend La Doble M for special celebrations, date night, or any time you want an elevated dining experience. Be sure to ask for Jose; you will love him! Kid-friendliness: I wouldn t recommend this restaurant for children, not because they wouldn t be welcome but because you deserve a night out with adult company!

I wouldnt go back!!! Very bad experience, apart from the fact that the cost of each dish is not worth it, there are honestly better places without asking you $100 dollars in advance. The place is not bad but the service is terrible! My husband was getting drops of water from the weather after I asked to change the table and they no longer had tables, then another friend ordered a drink and the girl with the air bubbles never came back after we ordered a dish from the menu and they They didnt have it, we asked for another one and they didnt have it either (apart from the fact that the menu is too short) the waiter ended up offering what he wanted and by the way he took the knives to the last one because they were the ones that cut better, (when we had already dinner was over) the mashed potatoes had no flavor at all, we had to put the kind of butter they offer there...then I told the waiter that my friend had a birthday and I never brought those cottons to the table that they bring to the table! Terrible service! First and last time apart from the fact that neither the food nor the service they provide is worth it, which was Fatal!!!!!!! Dont waste your money in that restaurant because its not worth it!

Very nice place for dining and the food was amazing as well. Abraham, our server, was extra top notch! He helped us pick our meal since it was our first time and surely didnt disappoint. Cant wait to go back!

Very nice restaurant with prime service. I ordered the Cochinita and rib eye chicharrón, the cochinita was full of flavor, but with too much fat, the Chicharrón was excellent.

The young lady that helped us was very friendly and attentive, Arlette, suggested a great bottle of wine and we had the best night out !
