I really enjoyed the food and drinks at the restaurant, there s no denying it s good eating and drinking. However, my issue with the place was the way a little mistake was handled. Our waiter brought out an appetizer which we mistakenly understood as being on the house as it was called dip de la casa . When we went to ask and it was clarified that it was a mistake by them, I thought about asking the waiter that mistakenly brought the item to us if he would get in trouble for the mistake, since the mood of our servers changed after the mixup. As I spoke to the waiter who brought out the item about paying for it to avoid him getting in trouble, a (possible) manager stepped into the conversation and instead of assuring us that this was not an issue, we were met with an awkward silence and a lack of answers. After receiving the bill, I was surprised that we were actually charged for the appetizer. I understand that the offer to pay was there, but on a principal of a good business I believe we should have not been charged. This left a really bad taste in my mouth which is unfortunate because we were fans of the restaurant but won t be returning due to how business is handled.

El Chin Chin is an incredible Mexican-inspired seafood spot! The entire vibe feels like a fun, laid-back party, creating a great atmosphere to enjoy delicious food. Our server, Eduardo V, was outstanding. You can tell he takes immense pride in his work and is a fantastic representative of the restaurant. He made me and my out-of-town guests feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommend!

We have always heard good things about this place which led us to give it a try. To start off, they do not have menus in English which is okay but the servers only speak Spanish which did not help. The food took forever to come out and was very bland in taste. Our server did not once check up on us either.

Great, friendly service. I ordered the Kriptonita michelada with a Pacifico and it was very refreshing. For my meal I ordered the ceviche mixto with fish and shrimp which was the perfect combination. Not much parking in the front so most people park in the back of the building off the next street.

Great food, friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Jenny was awesome! She helped us translate our subpar Spanish and made some excellent recommendations. Loved the experience. Highly recommend! Valet parking was free and was a great option as parking is somewhat limited. Be sure to tip your valet!

I hate to write this because the waitress was a doll and this is a small business but Ive decided to approach it as if I were Keith Lee. I also think it is important to highlight that I love supporting small businesses and I always wish for their success. However, I believe all prospective patrons should have access to various customers experiences. Ill start from the beginning. The parking situation is not great. Apparently there is Valet during peak business hours but I cannot vouch for that. I went during the week for lunch. There were about 5 total parties including mine.The service was impeccable and the waitress went out of her way to explain the restaurant, menu and different dishes. She mentioned they did not have filtered water but they do offer bottled. I initially requested that but it was a SMART water and I am not the target audience for the brand. They do not have brewed tea, my only option was cocktails or canned soda. I usually only drink water but I chose a sprite. She brought out a chilled glass for the sprite which was very nice of her. We ordered the Trio appetizer. Overall I would give the dish a 4.5 out of 10. The aguachile was the best of the 3 for me. My lunch date preferred the ceviche because he doesnt like spicy foods. I am not the target audience for the flavors in the shrimp cocktail. For the main entrees we ordered the soup and a tuna dish off the main entrees list. I love seafood soup. Ive had it at multiple other restaurants. Everyone has their own way of doing a seafood soup but usually theyre pretty similar. You get broth, veggies, and choice of seafood. This soup was $15 and had 4 total pieces of shrimp (not whole shrimp) and the shrimp were fried. Again, I am not the target audience for the flavors in the broth. I did question the ratio of shrimp to broth and I was told this $15 soup is more of a principio. I understand the concept of a principio but usually, at other restaurants, its a shot glass of the broth and not on the menu as a soup. Maybe this is great for others but like I said I am not the target audience. I would give this a 2 out of 10. The tuna dish was saltine crackers topped with tuna, cucumber and radishes in a chipotle aioli (otherwise known as a spicy mayo). Pretty basic, flavors were exactly what you would imagine from a fish in that type of sauce. I would give it a 5 out of 10. Overall, the service was great, 10 out of 10 but I am not the target audience for this establishment. I wish them well in their future endeavors.

Aguachiles are good, music on weekend is awesome service is horrible. The waiters don t acknowledge you, and take forever to bring stuff. I ordered a hot sauce for my main food and it got cold waiting for the sauce. I ve been there 2 times (weekday, and weekend) and the service was bad both times. Not worth it for the $95 tab I paid. It s like they make an effort to have bad service

The chin. Has a hipster feel but not in a bad way. It s modern and cheeky with LATAM flavor and vibe. We had aguachiles and ceviche. (8-18$) A must try is the beer cocktails . Starting at 4$ for the mix plus the beer 10$ . The complimentary sesame tostadas are amazing . The available hot sauce wasn t my favorite but it does work well with the dishes and is at a spice level that doesn t overwhelm the food . With tip the meal was about 60$ This a little pricey for me personally but it is worth it because of the ingredients and the service and the atmosphere. Google hasn t let me post pictures but I will post them when it gives me a chance Parking: The parking is limited and you have to park in an adjacent parking lot. It s not extremely difficult but also not convenient. However the location calls for this.

I really liked the place. I had gone before but had trouble parking and decided to return another day. To my surprise, they already have valet parking. They treated me very kindly. The menu is varied. I ordered some shrimp flautas as a starter. Very good. I also ordered some governor tacos and a fish ceviche tostada. Everything is very rich. The flavor of the cheese in the tacos is very good. The ceviche sauce can be a little bit soggy at the end of eating it. The Jamaican tequila drink was also very good. They didnt have Diet Coke. Only without sugar and I dont like that. I dont remember if they offered me dessert, Ill have to go back and try them. It is a very different place from what is used to in the valley and that makes it unique.

Good afternoon, yesterday we went to eat there, my opinion will be varied, the service of the waiter was very attentive and helpful; He gave me all the sauces to try, the broth or shrimp consomme was delicious, the tacos too but they should put less beans so that the flavor of the shrimp is not lost, the aguachile is different from the traditional one and accustomed to the original recipe as it should It might be an aguachile but he tried hard to give his touch to the place, the atmosphere, the music a little loud, there were few tables occupied and we couldnt even talk. From the moment I step into El Chin Chin I loved the vibe and decoration there is no other restaurant like this in the valley. Food is amazing ! You have to try at least 3 different things on the menu. They have a great variety of delicious plates, the stake is amazing as well as the tostadas, tacos and aguachile !!! And don t forget about the dessert. The service is really good, every time I go they get better! El Chin Chin offers a dining experience that is perfect. What a good culinary proposal from this new place that specializes in seafood!!! Delicious combinations and sauces that make their dishes even better, which are already very well decorated and seasoned. Yes it is a little expensive but it is not expensive these days. So if you want to try something different and also delicious, visit Chef Guicho here in his new place, they are the same ones that were on Main Street now in a larger place where you can take the whole family and enjoy. The place was nice and the service was very good. We ate the fish ceviche tostadas and they were excellent, the best I have eaten in the Valley. Then we ordered the shrimp broth and it was a very bad experience since it was very salty and didnt taste like shrimp. We had it. They changed and it was just a broth with no shrimp flavor and we ordered an aguachile, nothing out of the ordinary, just good, the drinks were very good, in general terms the experience was passable up to that point.

A different yet cozy seafood restaurant with a great taste in every bite. Started off with a a mezcal cocktail with guayaba that was very refreshing. The Palomazo de Ostion was full of flavor and the mezcal just added that touch, el Trio Fantástico was a great appetizer; refreshing but not too filling. But the star of the meal were the tacos, we got three different kinds and they were all amazing!

Its been awhile since the valley has had a new gem like this! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home and made sure that we were taken care of the whole time we were there.
