The worst tacos I have ever eaten. The only thing left for this place is fame because years ago the tacos, the sauces and the beans were very delicious, but yesterday was a total disappointment. To begin with, the beans and sauces tasted like they were going bad. They gave us all the tacos cold and they hardly even put meat in them. The top was all tasteless. We also ordered a roast potato with meat and they brought it to us without meat, before it was a huge potato and now they are much smaller and more expensive, and to top it off in the tacos my husband was a bug. The truth is I dont recommend going to these tacos at all.

Today we went for some tacos at the Rodeo and the truth is they are good but too salty for my taste, I eat salt and I thought maybe it was me, but my children told me the same thing that they were too salty; Its not the first time Ive been there, but since the meat has been very salty lately, I advise the owners to take care of that aspect, since that makes you not enjoy your food.

Food is great but I will gladly stop going there after the manager got in our face because we twice refused what they brought only because it was not what we ordered. First time he yelled and blamed it on the server in front of everyone and the second time he blamed it on the cook yelling and making a fool of himself. I was not upset at the error but furious with the manager s tantrum. I felt bad for the server. I can imagine how bad turnover is. Owner needs to be aware of this and do something different in order to retain his employees and customers. Unfortunately, you lost my business.

I called at 7 pm to order and pick up an order of fajita tacos and they tell me it will take 15-20 minutes. I arrived at 7:40 and the place is empty and the lady took 5 minutes to take my payment. He asked me for the name of the order 2 times and then the cook told him that they didnt have my order. The lady started talking and another man had to assist me. So, they delivered my order until 8 oclock.

Im not going to lie, the food is delicious but beware of the tips they enforce in your receipt. Tips are supposed to be earned not demanded and Im not talking about 3 dollar tip, Im talking about 5 to 6 dollars! This is ridiculous! Thats the worst place Ive been to in a long time. The food was horrible. The fajita tasted like it had been put away and served over and over for weeks. We had to pay for stale chips and Pico de Gallo. My son had a burger, and the patty was soggy like a sponge. They had awful music blaring, and we couldnt listen to ourselve converse. Prices went up again I love the sopes. The food is EXCELLENT here. The prices are great especially for the specials. The server is friendly. It is outside so it can be windy and terribly hot so try to go in the evening. I think they have live entertainment sometimes too. I ll have to check it out.

Covered outdoor place with good inexpensive food, decent service, and a cheery feeling. But its only open in the evening. its a fun place to get together with the guys if the weather is good. We used to come here all they time. But it has gotten way over priced for the cheap grizzled meat they served. You can t place a regular order without the upsale. Forcing the Patton to buy a drink is not a deal, forcing the patron to take the beans they don t want is not a deal. I asked is beans and drink were included, I was told yes. I said remove the beans and drink as I don t like them nor want them. I was told ok, we won t serve then but you re still paying the same price. How does that make any sense? I m taking less, passing on the diabetic drinks, and still being forced to pay the same price? How does that make any sense? I m not taking extra styrofoam cups and flimsy lids they offer so it less overhead, and yet you re still going to upsale me? Rather cook at home, hard pass on these scam deals. Food is over rated, as I said try to get me to pay overpriced for grizzled meat is ridiculous. I ll take my $60 elsewhere.

The food is amazing. Its fresh and the tacos are FILLED to the top with meat. The service is exceptional, our waitress was on top of us if we needed anything at all which was refreshing. She made sure we were comfortable and very well mannered. The prices are decent and the menu has a great selection of real authentic Mexican food. NOT TEX-MEX. Parking: Theres decent parking and we found parking instantly. Its a small parking lot but its REALLY fast service so its sometimes in and out. Kid-friendliness: Its very kid-friendly with high chairs available. The high chairs are a bit discolored but they are clean and the waitress wipes them down.

By far one of the best taquerias in the McAllen area. The service and quality of the food is consistently great. Maybe we had an off night or something as wed heard better reviews. We ended up being there for almost 2 hours. Most of that time was spent waiting for our waitress to come back to take our order, bring the food and then a huge part of it asking for the bill multiple times from every other waiter or busser that passed our table, since our waitress never came back after giving us our food. The food was good but service was not great. Maybe well try again another time to see if it was a one time deal.

I ve ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash and the food is superb! I also work for DoorDash though and the environment is not welcoming at all. Every time I go pick up an order here and at the store next door the cashiers and waitresses always have an attitude like they re upset you re there to get an order. A smile goes a long way ladies! Hate picking up here for this reason. I m more than sure online sales account for a big part of your business, be nice to your delivery drivers! Thanks!

I ordered the guacamole and they brought me sliced avocados. I was told they serve it like that now. I asked for a spoon to mash them up and they brought me a plastic spoon and the waitress just stood there and watched me struggle. I told her to take it back and have them prepare it like what they advertise. Big mistake, it came back just cut up and was not at all like the picture. At that point I just accepted it since I was hungry and didn t want wait any longer. This place used to be good but must be under new ownership or management. My favorite taco place. Their foods always in point, the service is great and theyre very friendly. Family friendly environment. The owner (Im assuming theyre the owner) also occasionally plays the piano for fun entertainment and engages with the customers. Always a lively little spot for lunch or dinner. Came here a couple weeks ago for the first time for breakfast and I was impressed. They have a good variety of breakfast tacos , so far I have had bacon and egg, potato and eggs and chorizo and eggs and have yet to be disappointed. On the weekends Friday-Sunday they have Chicharrón which is sold by the pound. Mine were crispy and meaty and paired well with the green salsa.

Very sad, the lawsuit ended up winning and apparently the flautas and sopes are thawed before serving them and due to the rush they end up NOT WELL FRIED covered in lettuce, but REFEASED and like CARDBOARD, I think that is very bad.
