Horrible experience while attending an evening event at the gym (family reunion), the main guy in charge did not allow my disabled mother to drop off food through a side door, she had limited walking ability and he denied her the entrance through that door, others had been using it to drop of food previously, he made her walk towards the main entrance, even though he could tell she would struggle. Super rude on his part not taking into consideration her disability and elderly age, she was out of breath and felt sick afterwards. How sad that McAllen has employees with such poor character like this one.

Plan View is a community center, in which we feel at home, most of the colleagues are very kind, cordial and we enjoy yoga, aerobics, English classes, Zumba, walking with teachers with excellent experience and for each one of our need, we are a family. We also have a Library for people who enjoy reading. Fabric Thank God and the City that provides us with all this at no cost

Early voting location. Also has drive through voting. Happy to see that volunteers are wearing masks and following CDC COVID safety protocols. They cheered and applauded when my son finished voting. It was his first time. Thank you for making the experience memorable and safe.

Very nice facility with friendly, helpful staff. Provides meals for senior citizens, classes and activities for both children and seniors. The library is also nice.

This is by far the worst library in McAllen,Texas when it comes to its employees. Their lack of training is unacceptable. Their lack of effort is sad. Their constant excusses and unwillingness to take responsability for their own actions is extremely unprofesional. I went to work on several documents and was kicked out of the computer with my unsaved documents. Unfortunately the staff members were well aware that the computer does that, but due to their lack of training and/or laziness about it, they DID NOT inform ME of that happening. I guess All my hard work and thoughts seemed unimportant to them. When i spoke to a male supervisor he had the odasity to tell me that saving a document goes without saying! LOL. Obviously I am MORE than aware of that. I told him that if their untrained staff would have informed me that there was a time limit, I ASSURE YOU I WOULD HAVE SAVED MY HARD WORKED DOCUMENTS BEFORE THAT COULD HAPPPEN.He said, sometimes theirs glitches in the system, I told him, No the reason this happens, is because of the unprofessionalism and ignorance of the staff at this facilityas well as their lack of care for others. Im sure he was probably in the back on his phone uncaring of what was going on on the job he was actually suppose to be supervising. There was NO posted sign telling me that i had 30mins or an 1hr to save my work nor did the larger lady with glasses that was at the front desk inform me of the unfortunate sinario occuring, for me to have even assusemd that my time there would be wasted working on those documents.They have lazy employees, who should be reviewed, perhaps there are others more fitted for their positions.

Staff is nice most of the time. Go there often to borrow books and movies. Has a playground and a splash park right next to it. It is also right across a middle school so school days afterschool can get a bit noisy.
