The food was fine, but the best item was the queso. The young lady that took our order was friendly but we had to get their attention when it took almost 20 mins to get our drinks (a bottle of beer, a Jarritos, and a margarita). When we asked about the drinks, another young lady with really long eyelashes looked at us with disgust, rolled her eyes, and honestly didn t seem like she wanted to be there. We are up in the air if we would go back although the outside seating is very nice. Your food can be great, but if asking your staff a question results in an attitude, it really sours your possibility of repeat business.

This is my new favourite taco shop in Mansfield tx! I stopped here earlier today and had the best tacos ever. We also tried their quesadilla and it was amazing. The frozen margaritas are also really good with Tajin. The staff were very friendly, I highly suggest you stop here for a delicious and affordable lunch. Will certainly be back soon! Parking: This taco shop is tucked away and somewhat hidden. There is a parking lot right next to Mehans steakhouse, you ll park there. Or you can park on main street if you choose to.

This is a GREAT place! The food is super authentic, for those who know good Mexican food. The taco and burritos are awesome! The place is small, but very accommodating and not any smaller than other mission style burrito shacks around. This is the best authentic Mexican faster food that I ve found in the area. Margaritas are pretty good also and there are excellent DEALS!!!

I was looking for a new Mexican restaurant and stumbled on this place. The reviews were very mixed, with more negative than positive. This restaurant is next to another one and they share a very large outdoor seating area with a small corn-hole pit. As you can see, the restaurant was brightly painted and decorated, which I appreciated. I went inside and ordered three chicken tacos and a side of refried beans. The chicken was seasoned well but the tacos were unadvertised street tacos; two bites and one taco was gone. The beans were hot and very tasty. The red salsa was spicy and delicious. I plan to come back to try some different menu items.

Who knows if the food at this location is satisfying to the palate. What I do know is that the customer service, attentiveness and professional courtesy is lacking. I went in to retrieve an online order, stood there in excess of 5 minutes without being acknowledged while other patrons came in and were assisted. Finally after calling out the indiscretion, the young lady speaks in Spanish to the other worker and tells me that it will be another 10-15 min wait. Needless to say the order was promptly canceled and I will never return.

Tacos were ok, love the atmosphere! Emmanuel who took my order tipped himself without me knowing about it. He didn t show me the screen. He said my total was $26.79 so I used Apple Pay. My card said it was charged for $30.50 so I asked him for the receipt and it showed that he added a tip without my consent. I hope he isn t doing this to everyone because it is very unfair.

The food is delicious! A bit pricey. We had street tacos, quesadillas (1 veggie, 1 beef) and they were delicious; the chips and white Queso were AMAZING. Had to take points off because the elotes was NOT grilled corn and was therefore not worth the high cost. Fun outdoor eating area and cozy indoor booths offer great seating options and decor was fun! I will be back, but I will bring my own drink and order differently. Vegetarian options: Elotes and quesadilla were vegetarian, I added in grilled calabacitas (squash and tomatoes) which was super yummy!

The Bistec (Steak tacos) were advertised as made with steak, but when I got them they were actually made with ground beef. This was disappointing, as I was expecting the higher quality of meat. I personally like the farmers market location. But today, I was in Mansfield. Unfortunately, this location lacks supervision. The service was fine, and there was a very polite cashier there. The lady making the food was not putting the effort to make sure the food was done correctly. All the tortillas used for the tacos were cold. The pastor meat was bland and unseasoned, with no flavor at all. The corn in the cup had some pieces of corn still frozen in addition to the exaggerated amount of sour cream they put in. This venue looked clean, but we were expecting more with the food.

I ve read a lot of negative reviews about this place and decided to still give a shot. 1. The chorizo and egg burrito was amazing. 2. My wife got a bistek taco and a brisket taco and they were both great. 3. The employee was friendly and even had recommendations on what to get. Rice was burned, on the tacos they did not put meat, the shrimp in the bowl was over cooked, really bad service on the drink they fill up the full cup of ice stead of drink. It s a shame because I always eat here but the one day the manager is here and rings me out, things go weird. Let me say I usually love this place. But today my meal was way more than it has ever been for the same thing I always get. Not sure if it s because the manager does things by the book or she is able to charge whatever she likes for a certain add-on, but I am not happy today. Breakfast tacos are $2.50 according to their menu. Perfect price I would say. I always ask to add chorizo to my potato and egg tacos and my meal is always around $10 for 3. Today my meal was $13.50 +TT. After tax and tip I m over $5 a taco and that s just not worth it. I don t see how adding chorizo to my tacos costs almost the same as a taco. It comes down to $4.50 a taco. $2 for chorizo, each? Not to mention not much goes into my tacos. I expect tacos with chorizo to have a reddish color but they re not. Overall I m disappointed in today s experience.

The manager here is so friendly and the customer service is always on point. Might I also imply that the food and the drinks here are phenomenal! Looking for a good taco place, because there are a lot of options. I would highly recommend this place for good quality food and service. Our experience was absolutely incredible! Caleb took care of us as soon as we walked in. We didn t even have to search the menu as it was our first time because he explained everything! Me and my husband got a barbacoa taco, lengua taco, barbacoa quesadilla, a surf n turf taco, chips and queso, elote, pineapple margarita on the rocks, XX michelada, and a churro! Got a couple tacos and chips and salsa. The tacos and sauces were good. The salsa comes out hot (temperature) so if you dont like warm salsa you may want to skip it. The salsa flavor is good. Our first experience in this taqueria, we ordered 3 of pastor, 3 of asada, 3 of lengua in the first round pastor malo (does not taste like pastor), tongue very good, roast very bad (they gave us the meat which I assume they already have roasted ). Second round 2 of carnitas and 2 of barbacoa . Nothing outstanding Has. Only 2 tables inside and benches, with the Texas heat who eats outside. If you dont know much about Mexican food, thats fine!!! I can honestly say I dont think I will ever be back. First of all they were slow. They were not even that busy. And when I knew I was next and saw my meat being scooped out of a warmer. I was like, then what was the wait for?? My tacos were cold, meat didnt taste fresh and cold and tortilla not cooked and cold. I paid $15.42 and not worth it. I got chips and guacamole, OMG if you were going to be skimpy go with smaller bags and serving cups. This was am extremely disappointing!

This la Ventana was good! The tacos were over stuffed but they were good. My favorite are the Bistek (steak) and Lengua (tongue). The elote is creamy and delicious, add some lime and it really kicks off the flavors. This place is great for a quick bite.

Almost!!!! This place is part of a consortium of restaurants with an enormous shared patio. Shortly a steak house will anchor the area making a variety culinary experiences in once parking spot. This place should reconsider its work flow and it s prices. Everything was just OK. It wasn t a blow me away experience. The elote was good and the staff were friendly and the place is awesome and it has a cool vibe but it wasn t so amazing. Once again, 3 stars doesn t mean horrible. It just means that the food here is no better and no worse than the food you could get somewhere else but with a bazillion restaurants to compete against, it seems to me a person would want to try and differentiate. Good luck and welcome to Mansfield.

Waited 30 minutes for 6 tacos and a salad. Salad was unappealing. They threw a bit of lettuce a couple chopped tomatoes and a tiny bit of cheese and an unrippened avocado. No dressing When I asked for dressing, I was told they didn t have any. We ended up throwing away 4 brisket tacos. The brisket was grey and soggy. . Tasted boiled NEVER AGAIN

You are paying for the environment. My food was cold, and was watered down. From the salsa to the street corn. Dont waste your money. Its shame because the Dallas locations share this name. However La ventana suits this location. Throw them tacos out la ventana.

Staff taking orders, extremely rude! We still decided to try this restaurant out being that its new. Let me just say worse tacos I have ever had. The steak looked and taste like dog food- I can only imagine thats hiwndog food taste. The pastor even more nasty. We took a bite of each and left everything there. We took our business and hunger next door. Will not return.

Really awesome taco spot in downtown Mansfield. Street tacos and burritos and bowls!!! Breakfast served all day!! Happy hour is about to be my new best friend here!! Love the atmosphere and the service is stellar. Love all of the bright vibrant colors and the excitement this brings to the already booming Backyard with TwistedRoot and Del Toro.
