If you are an average 30 year old married couple, whose wife regularly forgets her wallet at home, do not come here! Apparently if you look under 30 you need to show ID, props to us for looking younger but slightly disappointing. We left and drove 6 miles down the road to another Applebees, who happily took our money and we had a great spontaneous date :)

I come every Monday to get my crown and down from the best bartender Key. He s super funny and very attentive to my needs. Food is always good, even though I get the same thing every time (boneless wings on happy hour.) they never seem to disappoint. Will be back every Monday! And they have happy hour deals on drinks every day of the week, I m only off on Mondays, BUT this is my go to spot for a cheap drink and cheap eats. Especially on my day off? You know that says something.

I hate giving bad reviews, I am typically a very sympathetic person when it comes to service workers, but oh my god, this was the worst service I have ever had. We had Yibran as our server, and the restaurant was barely half full, but we seemed to get ignored the whole time while other tables were doted on and small talked. There were 2 of us, my boyfriend finished his drink about 4 or 5 minutes before I finished mine, then I finished my drink and the refill was taking so long I actually began timing it and give or take a few minutes it took almost 4 minutes to even be acknowledged that we needed a refill plus another 2 to bring it, added to the time after my bf finished his drink it was almost 10 minutes. When we finally did get our drinks, they were quickly slammed down on our table, didnt ask if we needed anything else, and he immediately left to go talk to this one table in particular, which he seemed to be checking on frequently. Not once throughout the night were we checked in on, not about the food, not if we needed anything, I ended up waiting a solid 10 to 15 minutes wanting to ask for a side of ranch but it was almost deliberate and strategic the way he would avoid walking next to our table, there was a couple (we ended up knowing them) 2 booths behind us, and two girls in the booth right in front of us he would check on and serve them frequently and walk between them but would walk far away from our table to get to them. he seemed to be the only server and bartender despite seeing many many many other servers come in and out of the back room at one point another server actually came out and did help us (Shout Out to Cheyenne) and seemingly scolded our server on not checking on his tables as he immediately checked on us for the first time the whole night right after. We just got the check and left because we were so fed up and we have ranch at home. The food was mid, our appetizer was too salty, our entree was flavorless and the only good thing was the strawberry lemonade. That couple 2 booths behind us we ended up recognizing as a friends Parents and they seemed to get exceptional service and were checked on multiple times JUST while we were there and they had been there before us for who knows how long.

We both ordered the steak and it was one of the worst I ve had, but no sending back when the staff was so unapproachable. Not going to go back for a while. Food

After arriving late evening to area only place we could find to get a meal. Ordered Bourbon Street Steak & perfect margarita for self and Tea and Bourbon street steak for hubby. Used to be Fav meal and very disappointing. Margarita was off and steak had a weird flavor (cooked perfect). However for $80+ not worth and disappointing I will say that the young man who waited in us was AWESOME! He never missed a beat and was polite and courteous even though late . I appreciated his service 100% and food no fault of his.

Went there on a Saturday night (6:45) We thought the restaurant was closed It looked empty from the outside until we saw a couple walking in then we decided to go inside too. This place was like a ghost town it was only 4 of us inside and the employees that s all We got some mozzarella sticks when we ask for ranch dressing we were told it was $1.00 for it . You can t eat that just dry Then we ordered a chicken quesadilla which comes with only what you see in the pick not to mentioned it was bad. We will not be back

Changing my previous 3 star review to one star. This place is disgusting now. How dare they let this steak leave the kitchen. This was supposed to be medium, what we have here is called blue which is less cooked than rare. This is inedible and unacceptable. If you want okay food, then its your place. If you like mix drinks, then stop in. I do like their drinks. Dont get me wrong, its food, and if youre really hungry, it will work for you. Serving a limited menu today. We got told AFTER we were seated that they were unable to serve fried food. Literally the first time in a while I ve been Applebees and I was craving their breadsticks with Alfredo .. and the breadsticks are fried. My niece, who doesn t like going into eat, wanted the pretzel sticks, also fried. We were told it would be a minimum of an hour wait. I ve already been awake since 6pm yesterday plus work for 10 hours, I already didn t want to wait longer than I had to. So we were pretty much forced to eat salad. This was my cheat day and I was forced to eat salad, why be open if you can t serve the majority of your menu? Service was decent. Not good not bad. IHOP would have been better if they weren t so busy.

Open seating in bar means zero service. Came in at 8:25 5/3/24 and sat there and no one greeted me or came to take my order but a group comes in and they re all over them. Went in after a concert for drinks and appetizers. Bar area smelled really bad, asked to sit in the main dining room, Tiffany rolled her eyes, threw the menu on the table and left before we even got to the table. She then started talking to the waiter that she double sat him.. he ignored us and we had another waitress whos section was apparently on the other side of the restaurant, she was very nice but could get the drink order or food order correct, beverage took almost 20 minutes... while under normal circumstances we would ha e left, we were in no rush.. so we just stayed. Frankly while the food is normally very good... as the norm with this place.. the service is non existent.

Me and my family came in on a Saturday night around 9pm. Applebees was not busy whatsoever. Part of of the reason we agreed upon Applebees was because we knew hardly anyone would be there. From the time the hostess sat us down at our table til the time we decided we were going to take our business somewhere else, we waited 15 minutes at our table for someone to come at least say they would be with us in a moment. We were never greeted by a waiter/waitress. The final straw was a couple that was seated right after us was promptly approached by a waiter and the waiter quickly brought their drinks out but we were still waiting for someone to take our drink order. When we decided to get up and leave, on our way out the hostess said Thank yall, yall have a good night not even paying attention to the fact we had not been there long at all or that we were unhappy. We left and took our business next door to On The Border where the food, drinks, and customer service were on point. Not sure what I really expected it is Applebees but seeing as how it is a dine in establishment that is going to be taking my money I do expect my drink order to be taken within at least the 1st 5 minutes Iam there. Or at least acknowledge we are sitting in your area. Do better.

This was great! We had not been to Applebees in a while and we were very happy we came! Service was great, food was very delicious, and the drinks were on point from the bar too! I always loved the Fiesta lime chicken and it was just as good as I remember! My oldest ordered the honey chicken mac n cheese, he only wished there was a little more of the sauce on the chicken, but said he loved the flavor! My husband had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp skillet and loved that as well! My youngest, who is a very picky eater, really enjoyed the kids burger and their oreo milkshake! We also had a lava cake dessert and that was excellent and fresh as well! The lunch menu prices were also reasonable, as my fiest lime chicken was around $11 and they had several options! We will definitely be coming back here again!

Stopped in for a quick lunch while out running errands. We both ordered hamburgers and fries. The food was great! Burger was not a frozen patty, it was legit ground beef cooked on the grill. Bun was toasted perfectly. Fresh vegetables. Fries were great too. Both of us had tea and the bill was less than $25. Would definitely stop there for a good quick lunch again in the future.

Just because its an online order doesnt mean prep it differently. Do this look like the pic? And the managers watch the food go out like this. This cost me way too much. Let me start by saying, Happy Holidays to the employees that worked on Christmas. Food: I ordered the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo, sauce was a bit runny and in some areas the pasta was a little too hard for al dente. Now, I know this is an Applebees so my expectations werent too high to begin with. Aside from the runny sauce and improperly cooked pasta, the flavor profile wasnt bad, surprisingly. The broccoli was steamed perfectly and the breadstick was fresh. Service: Haley (apologies if I spelled your name wrong) our server was prompt, courteous, kind, and attentive. She made sure to offer another cocktail as soon as she saw they were low and refilled our waters promptly. Overall 5 star service. Shed do fantastic at a higher scale establishment. Manager on staff even made an appearance to check on tables and wished Patrons Happy Holidays. Atmosphere: Very calm, very relaxed, and loved that the employees got to wear Christmas Sweaters and Santa Hats. Very cute, very fun, and made for a nice dining experience. Overall: This Applebees is well run. You can tell when management cares about their job and it showed in the dining experience here.

We came in at 7 :00 pm. We were seated as soon as we came in. And sat there for 12 minutes and not one server came to greet us. It was not busy. There were maybe 6 customers total in the restaurant. We watched one guy check on two of his tables, watched one guy in the back stand at the entrance to the back, I m guessing waiting on the first guy to bring a bill from a table, and a young lady walked passed us from the back, but no one greeted us or took our drinks. They have stepped up their game! Food was great-good quantity of perfectly cooked chicken & plentiful in my Oriental Chicken Salad. I eat here often as I work close by. The atmosphere is ok. The old carpeting needs to be taken out asap-gives the impression it s a dirty place. Don t know if it s the company policy but the walls could use a paint job in a lighter color that would prob help as well. Server Jacob was fantastic! Couldn t have been nicer or more professional. Really appreciated his extra efforts which is why I m posting this review. All in all I m rooting for this place to continue to get better as I enjoy the food when it s prepared right like today!

So disappointed ! Applebees is again the worst place to go in Mansfield! They had been doing so well the past year good service good food we stopped by today came in no customers except 3 men at the bar they had drinks. We sat at the bar for 15 min.. while several employees passed us, flirted with the guys at the bar , laughed , never asked us if we wanted anything. I wish I could separate stars for service from the food. Our waiter was fine, no issues there. But the food, disgusting! Husband got the steak and it was inedible. I arrived late at night and was seated pretty quickly. The service was great from our waitress and the vibes were good. BUTTT, the FOUR CHEESE MAC & CHEESE WITH HONEY PEPPER CHICKEN TENDERS was . It did not give four cheese at all (it was DRY) and it was very flavorless. The only good thing was the tenders and the breadstick. Horrible customer service Poor Management Lack of Accountability Lack of Knowledge On June 19, 2023 around 2:00 PM my wife and I were treating her little brother to a lunch and drinks. The little brother looks young but as we know that and so does he, he ensured he brought his identification. As it is now the middle of 2023, I assumed the waiter could read and confirm that the card was valid. Unfortunately, he could not and ARGUED with not only our little brother but insisted that the card was invalid, expired, and stated that he didnt want to get fired; for a VALID ID??? Nonetheless, we asked for a Manager and once we did the waiter advised, Hes going to tell you the same thing; instead of a professional response he got very defensive. The Manager comes over and repeats the same errant response of the ID is invalid/expired. I had to correct him by first pointing out that the EXP date was not until 2024, that the notice of Under 21 UNTIL 2022 was correct but also that it confirms the user is well over 21 by now, and last I had to point out that he has a machine/reader which will confirm that we were correct had he or the waited simply scanned/swiped it instead of arguing with customers!!! He agrees takes the ID to the bar with who I assume was the bartender for a couple minutes then the he comes back and confirms that we were right the whole time! This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant! I am very thankful though because the service we received at On The Border next door was impeccable and I felt good spending my hard earned money with a bartender who knew how to read an ID and my little brother enjoyed his margarita!
