Overall a waste of time. Save your money and go somewhere else for your printing service. I was in line to place a small order for 10 prints on card stock and was approached by the manager and told I needed to go online to place the order. I complied and when I got to the front the line I was told the order wouldn t be ready till tomorrow! They said I could use the self serve to print them, but it wouldn t be on card stock which is the only reason I went to the service desk.

Keith went above and beyond for us at checkout. He was extremely nice, professional, and had a smile on his face the whole time. He informed us about price matching, which we did not know about. To the Young white guy with curly brown hair In the printing, shipping, and Amazon return area please consider getting a different job if you don t like the duties you have at your current one. I had four separate Amazon returns, some with bulky items or multiple. Because of this, to be considerate to other patrons, I not only come in the middle of the day when it isn t busy, but I also have all barcodes ready to scan prior to getting to the counter With all items separated into their respective returns. Given the circumstances, that is the perfect return customer with consideration for everyone in mind. You were reluctant to help at all and when I asked how you were, you said busy and then made a snide remark you sure brought a lot of things. Mind you, there was no one in line in front of me when I walked in, and only one person behind me that walked up halfway through the transaction. You got upset when I said I didn t have one of the items to return even though that has never been an issue any other time I ever turned something because we as humans are allowed to change our minds on keeping an item. You kept telling me you were going to have to cancel the whole order and I would have to create new QR codes, because you didn t know how to skip it, which would have created a much larger hassle because the items would ve been been 30 days Past their return date. You didn t seem to care and kept pushing the issue no matter how many times I said no and then you got annoyed that you had to ask your peer for help because you did not know how to pass the item and then made ANOTHER snide remark saying you felt bad that you had to ask her anything because she s busy. It is not my responsibility for you to know your job, but I was nothing but pleasant to you and you were the most unwelcoming person I ever ran into in a long time. I don t ever write reviews and I come to the store a lot for my small business to print and buy supplies and I love everyone in the center and they re all so helpful. I even said I hope you have a good day and you just said thanks and walked off. I really hope you were just having a bad day and whatever it is gets better, but you should never make someone feel guilty or embarrassed for the types of returns they have when they are literally at an Amazon return center. My money is in no way a huge impact to this company, but just understand the ripple effect your actions have when it makes A small business owner want to start doing any type of business elsewhere. There may not be a monetary dent, but it definitely hurts your store reputation.

The customer service was AWESOME! Greg was the cashier when we visited the Mansfield, Tx store on April 26. There was some confusion with Easy Rewards and Staples Advantage, but Greg hung in there with us to make sure that we received the correct reward and he did it with patience and a friendly attitude.

This location would be better served as a substation for Mansfield police department because everyone here is always looking at you like you shoplifting..I have stopped going here because every interaction is usually contentious...I also think its a training issue because most of the staples Ive went in are like this...For Christ sake,its office equipment and entry level computer...Finally, Does this company realize that the level of disrespect from these store and their employees is make Jeff Bezo and his Amazon Army rich rich...I never feel like a shoplifter with my Amazon driver....I never have limits on what I can purchase and because I dont have interact with no one, I dont have to burn another 30 minutes write these types of frustrating reviews for your interns to send a standard apologetic response...Save it...use that energy for restructuring your training.. One more thing remember blockbuster, Comp USA, how about radio shack...neither does anyone else but they thought they had a monopoly on their industry too...until they didnt..

One employee was semi-helpful but the other was not at all. She wouldnt talk to us or even acknowledge that we were there except to slam a piece of paper down on the counter with the email address that I needed to send a pdf file to. The file was needed to start an order for me to pick up at a later date, and they were very put out that I wanted to place an order just before closing time (even though closing time was still 2 hours away!)

Of course it has changed over the years with new ways to pay etc...of course I got 2 paper jams and was not aware I needed to start the whole stack over...so Chelsea to the rescue!! Amazon Returns not Seamless I ve gotten spoiled with the ease of UPS Store returns for Amazon. I got a coupon code offer from Staples when trying to do an Amazon return. I decided to try it. I get there, and I m required to print a label. I pay $1.60 to email the label to staples, then print the label, and get in line for the return. Then I m told, by a nice employee, that I can t return it there, that I have to go to a post office or the UPS Store. Why would I get a coupon code from Staples to do a return on an item that can t be returned there? I was able to return one item, that had a QR code, but I am super annoyed. I m in the parking lot, knowing I now have to go to a UPS store anyway. If something requires a label printed with postage, you cannot return it here. They do offer a coupon code if you complete a return, but it s not a fast process, compared to the UPS Store. Nice, friendly place, but the clunky process caused me to waste my time.

Staff was not very attentive, rude, or distracted doing inappropriate things. Went in with specific printing needs, staff were exceptionally dismissive of anyone asking about photo quality prints, specifically telling customers asking for photos to go to WalMart to the photo lab. Why? You need to retrain your staff to actually understand how to change printer settings, and perform actual print services. The lady behind me had mistakes on her business cards and was unhappy but needed them for the next day so reluctantly bought them. One employee was looking at what appeared to be very NSFW materials on his phone, not paying any attention to the store at all, the first one I saw. Thats a security risk, a lawsuit risk for sexual harassment, etc. Like, wow. Im not nosy, he just was paying attention to his phone and it was angled towards me when I was trying to get his attention. It was questionable at best. Besides that he didnt see me even come in or stand there for like 5 or more minutes. The other one was busy printing, and did not see me for a few minutes until I bothered the first one to get her attention. The others were not able to work the printers to get me what I needed, which is understandable, but they also didnt ask what criteria I needed at all, the first one dismissed me and tried to send me to WalMart. What I needed was basic settings: highest dpi print possible, photo quality, best quality, and do not scale my image at all to page size uncheck that. Its understandable that they would not know how to do that, because it is technical, but the lady was rude and didnt ask, same one who tried to send me to another store, who sent another person to another store. Of 5 customers you had a return, two sent to another store, one unhappy with her prints. 4/5 bad results. They dont let you swap papers for better paper in the different accessible copiers (understandable for paper jams) but did not have photo printing. Again why? Youre losing business, definitely wont go to this location again. This needs actual attention from corporate. The one guy who tried to help was just unable to make it print for me, and all it was was a bitmap image, literally one of the most basic image formats there is. So long story short, I went to Best Buy to buy printer paper for what I need. At Best Buy, the two employees at the door said, Hey there, welcome to Best Buy!, while looking around, another came up to me and asked me if I needed help, I did for one item. I spent $299 dollars there instead. How much sales are you losing at this location? Noone needs to be punished or anything, but they really need to not act like jerks to customers and send them to other stores because theyre too lazy, uninformed, or whatever, to accomodate them. Like this is 100% a case study on what exactly not to do in sales... wow. Thanks. Good luck.

Dont waste your time coming here, the manager named king acts like a king as has no concern for his customers. Look at all the other reviews, he even doesnt follow the tax free rules. My wife called because we had some items to return and couldnt find the receipt, the person that answered said it was not a problem and said they would try to look it up and if they couldnt find it they would just issue store credit. I also checked the website before coming it even says there that they take returns without a receipt. So I drive 30 minutes to here, the cashier nicely scanned all my staples brand items that I was returning and tried to lookup the receipt. The person on the phone failed to mention that they cant look up receipts for other stores and that he would need an override because of the amount. The manager king came over and said we dont take returns from other staples stores. And you have to have the receipt. Ok so I explained that we already contacted them about it and what it says in their website but he insisted that it was up to the store manager which he said was him. He didnt have any care that my 3 year old son and i drove so far for nothing and wouldnt even return a smaller amount. All the items were staples branded and brand new. There was no reason for this. Previously our small business would spend thousands per year at Staples but after this I refuse to shop at any staples again. After complaining to the office of the president that nice lady called the store for me and pleaded with the manager but he still refuses to even compromise with me I guess because he has nobody to answer to. I asked for the district managers number but he refused to give that out saying its private information seriously!? I have been a store director over several large company stores and I want to know, do your managers really have nobody to answer to ? I have never heard of this. I am guessing he has some bonuses or something he is trying to achieve and thats why anything to do with returns, discounts or tax free he doesnt want but its really unprofessional and not smart because businesses like mine wont spend any money at Staples anymore. The only reason we ever shopped at Staples was for the customer service being good but not anymore. If your not going to take returns without a receipt and are unable to take returns from other staples stores then you should post a sign on the checkout counter and at customer service stating this fact so people can make the choice to shop here or not and also make sure whoever is answering the phone knows this as well as we could have saved the 1 hour round trip we wasted. I have a photo of the checkout counter and customer service and since there is no signage I will file a complaint with the attorney general and federal trade commission. This is unfair business practices. Just save your money and go to Walmart...

I will never shop at Staples again. Its tax free weekend in Texas and the idiot cashier said he never heard of it before so I asked to speak to a manager. This short fat dumpy girl came over to the register and I explained to her i had bought less than a $100.00, and most items should be tax free. She told me that there is no item in the store tax free and would have to come from the register when totaled. I ask her what was tax free and she could not tell me. I said thats crazy, the whole store is not tax free as far as she is concerned. I should left all the merchandise on the counter and walked out. I will go to Walmart next time. Staples, you loss me as a customer. Poor customer service, don t shop here.

First of all, I want to start off by saying Liz was fantastic. My fiancé and I recently found a cookbook and people wanted copies. We dropped the book off and the next day received a call from Liz saying she was new and didnt quite know how to complete the order but that we could come pick up our original book. We went and she explained what was going on. I was previously a supervisor in this department for 1< year so I offered to help her, I was on a deadline. We had to take the copies home to put them in order before they could be bound (which was because of our scanning error) and we realized we were missing a page and that the cover didnt look very good. We went back the next day to get the one page printed out and a new cover printed. The supervisor, Chelsea helped us and seemed inconvenienced. She kept bringing us copies that had the page numbers cut off and covers that were too small for the book. I asked how she was printing them and she explained and I let her know they needed to be scanned on a different machine, I told her I could do it myself if she let me use the Xerox printer and she told me to go ahead. An hour later, we left the books to be bound and went to pick up the next day. A gentleman was working the front counter and said he wasnt sure what to charge and called his supervisor, then told us she said they were free. About a week later we got another order for 2 more copies, again had to help the associate with initial printing. When we finished I waited in line to pay and asked what I owe and he said Well you did the work yourself. I told him I would still pay the price of materials and he rang us up about $35. We put the books in order and realized the dividers werent printed on cardstock like they were the last time. I separated the sections with post-it notes and wrote down the page number that corresponds with what page the divider was on the PDF file so it could be printed on cardstock. As far as we knew the lady at the counter seemed to understand what we were wanting and we were told they would be ready on Saturday. Friday night I get a call while Im at work. They say that the order I want is outside of their capabilities. Now Im really irritated because how is printing on cardstock and binding outside of your capabilities? I ask them if theyre confused on anything and the woman on the phone just says well the person I have here has been doing this awhile and says we cant do it. I let them know I can come up there and clear up any confusion and the woman responds we wont have time. If you dont want to do it then say that. We went back up there tonight to figure out what the problem was, which like Id previously assumed it was a simple misunderstanding that couldve been resolved on the original phone call. Liz was there again and she was more than accommodating. A store manager named Alexandria was also there, she seemed nice at first but once we were over in the print center that flipped. Liz did every part of the printing and binding, I only stepped back there to show her what PDF file to print from and to show her how to flip the pages because they were printing upside down. The whole time Alexandria was glaring at us as if we were being problematic. She said to me You understand youre going to have to pay for these right? Yes, I do. It seemed very snarky and as if she was referring to the first two books that wed gotten for free, which we did not ask for them to be free and fully expected to pay. The last printing we did there they wanted to give us for free and I insisted on paying. I dont appreciate being treated like a freeloader nor like im expecting handouts. When we were leaving I stopped to say bye to my old coworker and even then we were being stared down as we walked out the door. The real kicker is we got charged an additional $6.02 in express fees. Placing an order on Thursday and not having it finished until Tuesday doesnt seem very express to me. Overall, unless you want a headache and to be treated like a problem then go somewhere else.

came in trying to do a walk-in for TSA precheck and the man was so snarky with me. He must have had a bad morning or something. Didn t even get a chance to say hi or how you doing. First thing he said is if you re here for a walk-in you will be here for hours and I still might not get to you and will probably leave before we meet. It wasn t even 1230 yet. Attitude adjustment is needed. Now I know why I don t shop here. Follow up from earlier review. Waited 2 hrs and the man refused to see me after no one was in line and he sat In his office and he clearly said I was next in line. As he stayed in his office another person showed up and he took them sat right back after he said I was next. I decide to leave. I asked a worker who was standing around doing nothing as to why there are 6 employees working and no one is helping the TSA line. the employee on the floor started yelling at me. I want a manager to leave an email so I can be contacted. DO NOT COME AT ALL COSTS!!!!! They clearly do no care about their customers or their satisfaction.

Made some black and white copies and it was 40 bucks self serving machine. The employees dont offer to help & arent interested in offering it when you look like you need help. Crazy expensive, poor service. Bought a few other items & the older gentlemen working the front register was rude & then had the audacity to say God bless you. Dude, please dont. Purchased 2 items online but only one of those items could be shipped. I was required to pick up the other item at the store. I tried to return both items to the store but was told I couldn t because Staples demanded that they be picked up by a delivery truck from my home! Remember, I physically went to the store and picked up one of the items. It makes no sense to me why I couldn t return that same item to the store! After a lot of time and conversations with different sales associates, I was given a receipt and assumed the return had been completed. When I checked online, the return status indicated that Staples was waiting on the items in order to initiate the refund. I d already returned the items to the store but they hadn t refunded my money! I made the trip back to the store and asked for the items. Two days later a truck showed up to pick up the items! Seriously?! I don t need the aggravation, Staples! There are too many other places to shop that don t require a customer to jump through hoops to complete a simple return! I will give my business to those establishments.

8/12/2020 Still a one-star store. We were approached by an associate when looking for chairs, told her we needed a minute but we would need her help once we decided. Five minutes go by. Then ten minutes go by. Finally, after 15 minutes another associate wanders by and is able to assist us in finding the box we needed. While waiting for an associate, we peruse the 50% off back packs. Find the one we want. Verify with the signage that the price of the selected back pack would be $34.99. At the register, it rings up for $89.99. I explain it was with the bags in the middle of the store with the 50% sign. Store personnel says the discount doesnt apply to the bags hanging on the wall. Again, I state bag was in center of store - all signage says 50% off. Manager says price is dictated by color of tag. Again, I state according to the color of the tag, the bag should be $34.99. Manager disagrees. False advertising abounds. This explains why I try EVERY OTHER OPTION before going to Staples. Truly one of the worst stores in Mansfield. 9/10/1019 ONE STAR This store desperately needs a manager who knows how to manage. Extremely poor service, after having to wait 10 minutes for an associate to acknowledge me. I went to pick up an online order and had to wait until every customer in the checkout line (even the ones who joined the line while I was waiting), before the associate could assist me. Once I finally received my order, the associate wanted me to sign a blank piece of paper to acknowledge receipt of the items. --- This is how Staples keeps track of who picks up orders??? With a signature on a blank piece of paper??? Maybe I misunderstand how things are supposed to work. I thought ordering online and going to the store to pick up my order would be a fast and friendly way to get what I needed. Obviously, I was wrong.

Amazing staff and customer service. A young man named Rashid was very helpful in assisting me with a chair and even looked in the back to made sure they had the specific chair I wanted in stock. He even helped me take it to my car.

Went in to get a simple laminate of a business card. The guy while in the middle of helping me starts flirting with the girl behind me and puts my stuff aside and says I ll get it in a sec. She also had a one page laminate and she paid and got taken care of and was out the door before me...even though I was there maybe five minutes before her. Was pretty pissed. Won t be back.

They seem to carry low stock or no stock on items in the store and try to drive traffic to the website for delivery later. When I walk into the store I dont want to be told to buy it from the website. I could have done that from home without driving anywhere. This has happened on multiple occasions.

I had a great experience. I came to Staples with my 2 young children only to discover upon checking out that I left my wallet at home. The cashier was so empathetic that she not only insisted that I leave my basket with her, but she made it important to tell her manager. Everyone was ok with my leaving my items until I returned. Upon arrival, my basket was waiting for me along with the Dollar my daughter left in the shopping cart.

We bought a Toshiba Satellite at this store in August, 2014. Yesterday 6-2-2015, the system crashed. It would not boot from any media - black screen. I called Toshiba, knowing that my one year warranty was still in effect, and talked to some lady in India. She told me the only thing that she could do was send a mobile tech to my house for $179. I told her that I had a one year warranty and she said the problem was the hard drive. How could she tell? She could not remote in and she was sitting at a desk 6500 miles away!!! Took the computer back to this Staples and some 40 year guy looked at the computer after he was shown the receipt and the date of purchase. He tried to turn it on and when it wouldnt boot he said probably the hard drive. I need to charge you $150 to take a look at it. She walked out. We went to Best Buy. They will look at it AND file the warranty claim. Thanks Best Buy!! We will make sure to shop there in for future computer needs and go to Staples for pens, paper and pencils.
