I went on a Sunday. Wasnt too busy. We set in the bar area. Service could have been a little faster considering how slow the bar area was. Was told if we wanted to order food to find her. We ordered a pizza but it was wrong. We ate it anyway as mistakes happen. My main complaint is bathrooms. Two of the 4 stalls lacked toilet paper, yet when you went to wash your hands there were four rolls placed on the floor. Now lets go back to washing your hands... there was no hand towels. I probably wont be back.

Today I tried out the breakfast on the brunch menu! It was delicious! My eggs were cooked to perfection! Makenzie never missed a beat! She kept our drinks full and appeared right when we needed her, every time!

We were so excited to try a new spot and had high hopes. Walked in to the front entrance where a host stand had a sign directing guests to seat themselves. The place was completely full with the exception of two booths, which could have been used for seating, but were occupied with employee supplies. Didn t see any staff but one server in the place. Walked around the restaurant looking for any place to sit or staff to assist and found neither. We decided to head out to a familiar spot. Worst part of the experience was as we left and a man (whom we assumed was an employee) was on the steps and asked why we were leaving. I politely stated that there was no place to sit and he responded with a vile and crude response that I will not repeat that astonished me and my husband. With that sort of employee/clientele, whichever it may have been, it was an easy decision that we would not give it another shot. Made the place that was obviously unprepared for service also seem incredibly trashy.

Food was great. Wings and queso are delicious. Service however was horrendous. We had to get our own napkins, ask the cook for a refill and then get up and get our own refills. Then we had to find our waitress to pay the tab. All this happened after we waited 10 minutes before we even got someone to ask us if we had been helped. Service is definitely a hit or miss and today the missed.

Champs Sports Bar Grill is a spacious bar and restaurant with enough space, it is a nice and quiet place, the service you receive is friendly and enthusiastic, they make very good pizzas, rich and tasty, the climate is pleasant, their hygiene is good and maintained, We really enjoyed visiting and sharing in this place, I recommend it, we will return!

Interesting place but seemed caters to regulars, in my opinion. I almost left before ordering as the staff was too busy conversing with patrons / friends to be bothered. Maybe they didnt see me, but either way, it wasnt busy, and I am hard to miss. Food was nothing worth discussing as it seems typical American bar food. I had wings to play it safe, and they were fine. Maybe it was just an off encounter, but I probably wont be back to find out. There are plenty of other establishments to give my money to.

The worst experience I ve had in quite a long time. To sum it up it was like a bad episode of that bar rescue show. Service was incredibly slow. The AC is either broken or non existent. They told us to sit wherever. It wasn t terribly busy and emptied out quite a bit while we were there. It took over 15 minutes just for the server to come by and give us menus and order drinks. Drinks took another 15 minutes. Ordered an appetizer when they brought drinks. After another 15-20 minutes of nobody coming by I tried to go find someone to check us out at about the 45 min mark and stood at the hostess counter for a few minutes but nobody showed up. Went back to the table and waited for someone to notice me standing wanting to leave my table. At about the one hour mark my appetizer showed up and I asked them to take it back and bring us the ticket for the few drinks we had received. The server seemed agitated. The owner or manager of the establishment was standing nearby just watching the tv. We paid for 2 decent mixed drinks and two warm beers. Should have just walked. We were very exited to try this place and it was a massive disappointment.

Service was terrible. Spent almost 2 hours there and it was not busy. Our server spent the entire time talking to another server and a patron. Our table was dirty, took about 10 minutes to greet us, did not greet us with her name, and we waited awhile for our drinks. Did not ask for our order when our app was ordered. The food was decent but it was already starting to get cold. Had to ask for napkins and silverware. All this while she continued to talk to someone not even 2 feet away.

We have been here 3 times with different friends just for the food. In our opinion the food is better than you would expect at a bar. We have had their chicken fried steak, their burgers and also the steak fingers and their quesadillas. The food is great and each time we have been there it has not been loud at all. So far everything we have tried has been great. The service has been excellent as well. I recommend it.

Only redeeming quality of this place is the cheap beer, but the atmosphere and clientele make this place an instant no-go. Service is non existent, it is dirty, and very loud. Don t come here if you don t want to be around loud and raging drinkers. Won t be back.

Apparently we arrived too late for the food ( food service ends at 10:30 we got there after 11) but Jenn hooked us up with chips and salsa despite that. And Josh made the best Chilton (x2) that I have found around. Would definitely make a return visit on next trip to Lubbock , Great job guys Food

This place would be great if they staffed it properly. Our waitress, Jada, was great. The problem was that she was the only waitress, and she was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I think the only area she wasnt the waitress for was the bar. The food and drinks were good. It took a while to get the drinks. In fact, some people were walking to the bar to get their own drinks, and again, not our waitress fault. On a normal night, there should be more than one waitress, but on a night when youre advertising $.49 wings, you better be prepared staff wise. I hope they get it figured out because it wont last long if they dont. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the front door and handicap parking. I believe there is a ramp from the bar area to the main floor.

Very wheelchair accessible. There were ramps through out the restaurant and buttons to open the bathroom doors as well as low sinks. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Johnny saw that we were cramped at our table and offered to push tables together without us even asking and brought out chips for our toddler while we waited. Fantastic service and fantastic food! Loved my breakfast tacos and brunch mimosas!! will definitely return again and again Vegetarian options: Veg options for breakfast tacos/toppings were awesome. Very easy to get a satisfying meatless meal. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps throughout the restaurant and low sinks and door opening buttons in the bathroom.

Good band, not a great set up for live entertainment. Not much room for dancing. Too much light. Theres a smoking patio but you cant get to it because the doors are locked. Drinks are very light on alcohol. Friendly staff but not in much of a hurry.

Please note that there are a lot of bad reviews but most of them are 4 years ago at old location. This was our first time here and wont be our last. My daughter had a spicy fried chicken sandwich and said it was very good she also had a Long Island Tea it was only $6.50. I had their chicken spaghetti as a daily special for 9.99 with Texas toast and water and it was excellent. I got a Togo order for my husband. It was a cheeseburger with hand cut fries and he said it was one the best burger he has ever had. Our total bill for 3 meals and a Long Island Tea was under 44.00! They have great daily specials Monday- Friday.

Appetizers were pretty good, better than most bar apps. The house ranch was vey good. Drink specials are good, regular drink prices were closer to higher end for LBK, although not unreasonable. Joshua at the bar provided excellent service. Food prices are very reasonable. The Sunday Jam was a treat and we hope it sticks around.

Came in on a Sunday didn t expect a band on a Sunday but was pleasantly surprised. Band had a mix of young and old. Young guy plays hell of an electric guitar and has a stellar voice. First off it took awhile to even be greeted at the door, and it wasn t super busy. That s fine it happens. We sat at the bar but there was limited space. 3 tables we could have sat at hadn t been cleaned yet, and weren t cleaned till we had already been there for 20 mins or so. Took a while to get our drinks, I understand the bar area was busy. But I sat and watched multiple waitress sit with their friends while one girl was running the whole bar area. I also watched at least 3 girls sit up front on their phones. I ve been to very few places that I haven t been asked if I wanted another drink before mine was finished. This might be a new favorite restaurant. I like the set up. They did a good job with the space provided. I got a plain ol hamburger. Easiest way to tell how a restaurants foods is, is with a plain hamburger. It was seasoned really good, juicy, all the right stuff. I look forward to trying out more of the menu. My server Riri was very attentive. Even a server that wasn t my server, Ashlynn, was willing to help without any questions. I like seeing that instead of, let me get your server , or that s not my job . This would be a good place to come with friends to watch some games or a fight etc. I like the bar area. They have live music this evening, Thursday. They re playing with which days to have live music as of now. I very much recommend giving this place a try.

Service was god awful. Had to request basics such as salt and pepper and silverware. Waitress all but disappeared after we ordered, which took about 30 minutes to get our food from that point. After waiting on our ticket for 30 minutes after finishing, we finally had to ask the bartender to check us out. It wasn t even remotely busy, so there s really no excuse for service this bad on top of the high prices. It s pretty telling when this place has been open for a couple months and there are only 3 groups of people eating and 2 people at the bar at 7PM. Best of luck, you re going to need it.

The atmosphere was nice with all the sports memorabilia, lots of TVs and food was pretty good, but I don t think many people will return to pay high prices for drinks. There are too many other sports bars in Lubbock with good food and good drink prices. I wish you the best but we will not be returning.
