The place is really cool. It is open and everything appeared to be in good working condition. My problem with this place is there is staff everywhere just standing around talking and goofing off. No one seems to actually work. We also were given no explanation of how pricing or anything worked. We purchased 1 hour of bowling and 3 games of mini golf. If we had known to ask for wrist bands it would have been a lot cheaper. Staff doesnt tell you that. They just offer a receipt with a tip line. Why am I going to tip on an hour of bowling and 3 games of mini golf? There isnt even anyone manning the mini golf. Who would even get the tip? There is a sign at the start of mini golf that said the winner gets a free game card. Of course there is never anyone back there and no guidance on where to get it from. The bathrooms are truly awful. If staff was running around and constantly busy and the bathrooms were bad that might be excusable, but staff and management are standing around just talking. I spoke briefly with the operations manager and I can tell from just the brief conversation that it is a management issue. The customer experience does not seem to matter to him at all. We will probably stick with Dave and Busters and avoid this Main Event.

Not terrible, be prepared to spend about $60-$200 for a family of 4 for a day trip. Its 50/50 on the customer service you receive. So workers are kind while others appear to hate their job. The arcade, bowling, and golf are fun.

As I m playing on one of the machines I get the bonus tickets and the machine is about to pay out the tickets and an employee comes in and turns off the machine on me. I was like I m playing and I just got the bonus she was like I m sorry I don t know. I told the manager and he says OK I ll take care of it. He didn t offer to get me points or didn t even get a refund. It was a bad experience for me today.

Ok so I do a lot of reviews, as a business owner I know how it can affect your business. We came in from 6 hours away and planned on enjoying our time. Unfortunately, I have a really bad knee and needs replacing, I requested the tables be moved, was told no. I moved them to an area and a guy walked up and got really nasty with me. I apologized and told him I was handicapped and required more room. He said I don t care you re going to move those tables yourself and nobody is going to help you. He did get very rude and nasty, I apologized again he continued and I said just give me my money back. The only reason why I gave a 5 star was because Sasha the General Manager came over listened to what happened and was extremely respectful and helpful. I told her I just wanted my money back and she tried to make it right be giving me a discount. I wasn t looking for a discount I don t get to see my grandkids very often so I wanted to see them enjoy themselves. She understood and I said it s best we just call it a day and maybe give her a chance next time we re in She was very respectful and because of her I ll definitely be back. So Sasha if it wasn t for you I would ve give I 1 star great job! Great customer service otherwise.

I waited 30 mins to bowl got here earlier in The day so no biggie. I got a margarita flight a beer, fried pickles and cheese sticks. It was taking for ever after about 20 mins I asked about it apparently they burned the fried pickles so they would be out shortly. Another 20 mins goes by after you are only allowed 1 hr to bowl. I then ask again about my order and Nikolas informed me it must have gone to the wrong table! This place is ridiculous. It makes you wonder if that s really what happened and why. I then say to take it off. My hour of bowling is over. No manager came to try n make it right nothing at all. No free card. Nothing. I won t be back

Great experience. Played arcade games. On my second visit I sat with a group of people. We had to wait a while for someone to come to sit us down. Food was average. Went to the bathroom and it was filthy. Trash bins were overflowing.

Ordered drinks, and they said it was unlimited refills. After 1 refill, I did not get asked if I wanted another. After 30 minutes or more I brought it to someones attention and they did nothing, finally the person who took out order the first tine finally showed back up, mentioned it to them and they got the order in but, they brought the wrong drink then after another 15 minutes they finally got my drink right. Good place, bad service

Wow! What a great place to go. Take your kids and let them play video games you can bowl. They have food and ice cream and icees and sodas tea. Just about anything you can think of. I do have to compliment them on how clean the place was. Even though kids are running amok they kept this space spotless. Only come back. Well have to try the bowling looks like fun!. There are plenty of video games here for kids to keep busy for maybe 2 hours. Looks like they also have laser tag here. So fun!

It just came out for my sons Birthday I was immediately impressed and why the size of the building the amount of games it had. Plus the variety. It doesnt make me feel stuck next to strangers or anything like that, were having a great time. I have my first interaction with the staff at the so-called family kitchen. The hostess was rude and terrible. Didnt communicate well. Just stared at me and the bartenders were not friendly at all. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER VISITED LUBBOCK AND TO SEE A GENERAL MANAGER HANDLE A CUSTOMER ISSUE THE WAY SHE DID . I m appalled SASH STARK DECIDED SHE COULDN T WAIT FOR ME TO REVERSE PARK AND BARRELED BEHIND ME ALMOST HITTING MY VEHICLE WITH MY CHILDREN IN IT. She then acted as if an imaginary phone call was more important than addressing the situation at hand. I then commented on her driving skills (using not so nice words) and that s when she decided to kick me and my family out because of my use of language. Which by the way was never directed to her. The boot just fit and she wore it lol. I know there isn t a very large black community in Lubbock but gosh man, to be treated the way I was and not even receive and apology for almost hitting my car with kids in it , I can only assume it s because of the way I look why else treat a paying customer this way when an apology could ve solved all. I would really like to speak to the owner about her actions.

The General Manager, SASHA STARK, decided to not allow my family admission and created a scene after being confronted for nearly rear-ending my vehicle while reverse parking. Stopped in with my son for the 4th of July. We went to the front desk for some bowling. Upon paying, I saw a tip option. For what? This tip happy society is getting out of hand. Everybody wants something for essentially doing nothing. Stop insulting customers. Aother frustrating part was that it was warm inside the entire time I was there. Lastly, why not give the customers the option to choose their lane. Half the lanes werent even in use yet we were stuck between a bunch of kids. What is the point of cramming everybody together when the other half is vacant?

It is self evident that the management has never gave a flying F about this place. I took my fiancee there to play some games. I am not making this up, 9/10 of the arcade games were broke. Where to I start. Connect four hoops: didnt read the second player, Mario cart steering wheel vibrated constantly like it was simulating a wreck, the whole race. The motorcycle game down shift didnt work so I stayed in 6th gear the whole race. Tomb raiders gun was broken in half. Picture booth: stall was peeling apart and the photos show broken panels in the back The rubberduck claw game didnt move right... Stacking game which takes precision took multiple taps. Ring toss spit out different interval of rings each turn. Basket ball versus game didnt register baskets. We went to play mini golf and the terminal was down and they told us to go to the front desk. Saying this place is a run down, no effort, waste of money is an understatment. The managers need to be replaced yesterday. No one cares about this place, and its been left to rot.

I don t leave reviews often enough but this trip deserved one all the way around. The new restaurant area looks amazing. The booths, chairs and tables give it a totally different look. The huge TV Projectors are super clear and visible from any area of the restaurant. The manager on duty, Charles, was fantastic and the entire server staff needs to be complimented. Amazing service the food was good and our experience was honestly 5 Star. Thank you for the great time we had and we will be back.

Too start the bar staff was very rude and selective on who they wanted to serve, understanding that they are busy, we walked to three different sides to get drinks also asked a young lady at the bar for drinks and she replied shes nit a bartender and walked right over and started making other people drinks! Another customer walked up and got a pitcher of beer and was served and we asked for a pitcher to beer and he said he couldnt serve use one unless we go get everyone that was drinking or 6 I.ds. He was very rude and frustrated and cusin at the register, Another lady walked up and asked him a question and he replied I wouldnt ask that question if I was you! We got there about 830 and was told we it was a 45 minute wait, at close to 11 we still havent bowled

Our party hostess Ashley was awesome! She was very attentive and answered any questions we had. She was very knowledgeable. The party package we got was worth it! Food was good. Only thing was the adults didnt really have anywhere to sit while the kids bowled. Either had to sit in the pizza restaurant or the bar area away from the party.

Was in town for a soccer tournament, so I booked a bday party for my 14 yo and his friends. Start to finish, every one who helped plan and organize the party was great and communicated well. I couldnt have asked for a more gracious, organized attendant! She kept a wild pack of teenage boys taken care of, and I got to relax and enjoy my own food and drinks with the parents. Went for a company bowling party. My hubby wanted to order a beer & his ID is expired. So they said No cuz of his ID. He accepted the fact that he couldn t get a beer and was ok with not drinking and not spending his $ inside the establishment. I ordered me a beer. I had to show the waitress my ID. I drink half of it on my way to the bowling lane. I sit down next to my hubby and drank some more of it. Then security shows up and has the audacity to harass us. Asking him whose beer it was and making sure he wasn t drinking it. They were 2 feet from us staring at us when everyone got the page that his ID is expired. They proceeded to tell us he is not allowed to drink cuz this is a family establishment. And kept repeating its a family establishment. I m sorry but what does that have to do with the fact that you can not see his birthday clearly on his ID whether expired or not! And why are you harassing us over MY drink, not his! Will never be back the way we were treated. Family establishment Joke was on us!!!

If you re looking for terrible service this is your place. I would understand if they were busy but that wasn t the case for our visit and I can see why. The server Jeremiah was so slow it was painful and the food was a little better than school food. The chicken strips were really good and it stopped there. Someone at the table said the Pizza was like bake at home and the burger was just sad. Don t forget what they call nachos being the worst we ve seen in years. How do you screw up nachos? The games were at least fun and the Chiltons were good. If I ever go back it will be because I m in a wheel chair and can t control the brake.

We took our son s basketball team here after a long day at the gym. We had a big group (8 adults and 9 kids), and the staff at Main Event was so wonderful. We came in to celebrate a friend s birthday. Our waitress was Renee and honestly, it wasn t a great experience. There was hardly anyone in dining, but she didn t come to check on us or get us refills. I had to go and ask staff to send our waitress over so we could get refills and condiments, and she ignored half the table. Our food was cold before we got our condiments, sides and we never got refills. We waited for 40 minutes before we again had to go find her to get our checks. They (staff) were all congregated by a podium just outside of the bar area, catching up on this week s episode of Glee or whatever. We didn t even stay to do anything else. We didn t really see the point after that. Garbage experience.

Customer service definitely lacking. 2 pm on a weekday in November and no one seems to be aware of there 18.99 all day pass as I was charged regular price until bringing it it to their attention. Attendants and managers definitely seem like they would rather be somewhere else which is unfortunate after spending $150+. Not sure it matters but I am black in West Texas, first trip to Lubbock lol. Got better as the night progressed

Place is pretty well kept and clean. Cant speak to pricing of games but it was hit and miss with food value. My nephews and nieces love the place. I will say it gets very loud and its exhausting of youre not the one playing lol but staff was great

We have been to this location many times and always had great time. Never thought of writing a review before. Today we went to another local fun place as my toddlers love jumping. And the staff attitude, unethical behavior and professionalism made us realize that there s no better choice than main Event. Very cooperative staff and even if we face any issue the manager is always there to help nd make things easier so that we love going there again n again. Just want to appreciate your lubbock location and hoping that they keep it the same way. Cooperative and professional.

I went here for mini golf. The glow in the dark was very cool and the 18 hole course was fun and creative. They also have some fun games to play and military discount.

The atmosphere is fun, some of the staff are friendly. My only issue was whenever I took my 3 year old daughter to the bathroom and it was TRASHED! We came out and I observed so many staff members standing around. As much money as we have spent here, DO BETTER Main Event!

I ordered some wings and asked for them to be fried extra hard longer than normal. I told the server after I ate one or two wings thinking it may have just been the first two no big deal but the lack acknowledgment after the 3rd wing I decided I didnt want them. I asked to speak to a manager and she said that since I had eaten the 3 she would take of half of the price and put another order in which I would have to pay full price for so with all that said I paid for the there wings and left do not recommend the food service. I would have been ok with them just replacing them.

Drove 2.5 hours just to visit this establishment and was very disappointed. Employees had on purple shirts about ten i saw, but no servers to get a table nor food. Out of all these people working, better yet standing around couldnt get any help from the front desk, nor manager on duty.

Drove over 2 hours from Odessa to Lubbock to enjoy a Saturday evening and play some games. Get into the place and cant get anyone to help us. No servers to even help at the little eatting place. Spoke to a manager and got nothing more than, you can join the wait list! Worst experience Ive had in a long time. Do not recommend this place at all!! Biggggg

The bartenders were RUDE. We will not go back to this place. People should enjoy the type of job they choose & if not look for something else. No excuse or room for a bad attitude where ever one works. A great place we enjoy is Texas Roadhouse, their staff always have smiles & friendly. Their service & attitude is AWESOME! 08/20/23 From the reviews Ive read looks like management needs to enforce better manners to their staff & how to be a lot more courteous to customers, after all customers are the bread & butter to make money!

When went to the bar I ordered a Margerita and it was served in a dirty glass I showed the bartender the glass and it got replaced. When I went the bar again I waited ten minutes and the bartenders kept skipping me, I thought I was invisible. When another gentleman came to the bar after me they served him but just ignored me.
