The park is nice but the graffiti is not, I had to leave the play area because of my smaller children that can read. Very vulgar. Nice if your an adult with a dog or just jogging.

Jan Jennings park is playa-centric park shaped like Italy or horses hind leg in profile view. It has a paved ~1 mile walking/jogging path on the south side and a playground near the middle (near 78th Street). This is a popular spot for evening sports practices for youngsters during the school year. If it rains heavily, expect mosquitoes a few days later. But the city takes care of it! Joggers may note the parks ~1.65 mile circumference. I dare you to jog here on a Saturday morning in the summer and not get hungry from the smell of Rosas Tortilla Factory across 82nd Street.

Beautiful park. Granddaughter enjoys it and so do I. She loves playing on the the playground. I really enjoy using the beautiful scenery to take pictures os her and capturing beautiful memories. Playground: Its a small playground but kids enjoy it and it makes it really easy to keep up with the little ones. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of grass and area for your pup to enjoy also a pond for a quick cool of for your pup if they so choose most likely leaving you a messy vehicle to clean up later

Beautiful park have nice track,pond with beautiful ducks and birds. Lots of shadow with beautiful trees. I saw peoples fishing here too. Park for kids and volleyball net. Few picnic spots with grill. Love this park. Nice and clean.

There is play equipment that can be played by infants and toddlers. There is also a swing, so you can play even in a small house. Its a good place for us as there is also a sandbox. Honestly I get to wake up and look at the bedroom window and overlook the park. its awesome to wake up and be the first thing you see. Also I seen a guy setting up for a picnic date underneath the trees last night I will get him 9.7 on being smooth he went all out the blanket the wine the wicker basket. Great place for my daughters team practice. Lots of room and mostly flat. The playground looked a little worn, but I only saw it from a distance. There is some work being done so there was a couple pieces of heavy machinery parked near the playground. We practice near the south end of the park, so I couldnt comment on the condition/facilities of the other end (north).

I miss this park. It was my backyard for 6 years. The Canada geese fly in by the thousands in winter! When it snows.....it s breathtaking!
