We went to this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint. We had spicy pork, galbi and bulgogi at medium spice which was perfect for us. I do wish they had provided more sides since I am a sides lover. The restaurant was very busy which I love for the owners. We will definitely be visiting again.

We have eaten on and off at this place for several years. We went to them before they move the 100 yards to the new building lol. Hospitality and everything has always been wonderful the food is always been amazing as well. We will definitely continue going to them and highly recommend them to others. My partner and I went to check out this restaurant and we were blown away! The food was phenomenal and the homemade kimchi was the best we ve ever tasted. I got the chicken cutlet with a delicious sweet sauce and my date got the bibimbap. All the side dishes were well prepared. The owner walked us through every part of the meal and was very kind and happy to discuss the dishes. I also appreciate the atmosphere as it s clean, spacious, and cozy. Plus, the music was calm and not too loud which I personally appreciated. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone and can t wait to come back!

This place is fantastic. I did not have amazing Korean food in Lubbock on my bingo card -- but we were very satisfied and surprised at the quality and taste of the dishes we got. The bulgogi beef is out of this world, and the bibimbap should not be slept on (esp in the hot clay pot). And as others have mentioned, Daniel is the consummate host!

This place has some decent Korean food. I find it isnt as flavorful, colorful, and bright as other Korean restaurants. In comparison to traditional Korean food, this does have a lot of traditional qualities. It would most likely satisfy your craving. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. The ordering process is a little different than what you would expect. Its walking a tight rope of order and serve yourself. Basically you order youre meal at the counter and fetch all the things youll need to eat, plates, bowls, drinks, napkins, and utensils. The food is brought out timely, hot, and fresh. The traditional Korean side dishes (banchan) have been my favorite part over the meal. I think its worth trying to decide for yourself if their style of cooking is your cup of tea.

This place is amazing. The ambiance is so peaceful. The customer service is top notch. My 8 yr old loved the little snack dish they gave her before the food came out. The kimchi was soooo delicious I got 2nds during my meal. The Korean short ribs were one of the best Ive ever had . I shared that plate with my daughter , she was fighting me for the last pieces . Seoul is a fantastic Korean restaurant that you must visit if you are in the area. We stopped by on the way back home from Austin to Albuquerque because my cousin highly recommended me to eat here. This place is great - give it a try if you re curious, you won t regret it! I love Korean food, but don t have many options in my home town so I always seek out a place when I m traveling. I got the beef bulgogi (spicy), steamed dumplings, and beef fried rice (for a friend). All food tasted great and was ready on time. The gentleman that greeted me at the front was incredibly nice and helpful when I asked a couple questions. Overall, a great experience and it ll be a place I visit any time I come back to Lubbock.

This is my wifes favorite restaurant in Lubbock. We have been eating here for at least the last six months. The family and staff that run the restaurant are always extremely nice, polite, and really car about their food and their customers. I have never once had cold food here; honestly, Ive never even had luke-warm food here. Everything we order is always fresh and hot. This seems to be extremely rare these days, no matter the price point. Highly recommended, 10/10.

This was our first visit, and I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant looks and feels like it used to be a house so it s welcoming and comfortable. There s a lot of space between customers which I appreciate. The staff was very helpful in helping us to decide what we wanted. We had the Haemool Pajun as an appetizer and it was delicious. They make their own dipping sauce that is soy based that I couldn t get enough of. My husband had Dolsot Bibimbap and because I can t handle spice, so I opted for the Safe option of shrimp fried rice. It was literally the best fried rice I have ever had. The staff checked on us while we were eating and when the owner/chef realized we were first time visitors, she came out and checked on us and visited with us for a moment. They do give you sides with your meal That consist of radishes, kimchi, fish cakes and broccoli salad. And they will refill the sides as many times as you need. We will definitely this restaurant again.

It took a long time but they said they were cooking the white rice with which they serve all the dishes. We almost left because we saw that they were serving all the tables and they didnt come to us. I took my wife here for dinner around 6:30 on 1/18. When we approached the front door, there was a sign to go in the side. As we entered, there was a very homely feel to the place. There is a lot on non-typical restaurant furniture, and even a couch! There was a line at the counter to order, and it took about 10 minutes to get through it, but that gave us time to review the dishes on the wall. When it was our turn to order, the staff were incredibly kind and explained everything in detail. They were so very helpful and made sure we knew what we were ordering. Once we completed our order, we were then handed a cute little tray of nuts and chocolates, they told us where to find plates, utensils, napkins, to-go containers, and our drinks. We were also free to sit wherever we liked. It took about 20 minutes to receive our food, but it was so worth it! You could tell everything was authentic and made from scratch! We could feel the love in every bite! We tried the Haemool Pajun first. This was like a rice flour pancake filled with seafood and scallions. It was phenomenal. And the dipping sauce that came with it was out of this world! It was so good, we asked for more, so we could put it on everything! My wife was a little unsure of what she would like, but she is familiar with fried rice, so she got the shrimp fried rice. She really enjoyed it. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and when she added the dipping sauce previously mentioned, it became one of the best fried rice dishes she has ever had! I got the Dolsot Bibimbap. It comes in an extremely hot stone bowl with an uncooked egg yolk on top. The rice on the bottom gets crispy, and the egg yolk cooks as you stir! You are also given sides of radishes, kimchi, fish cakes, and broccoli salad. All of them were delicious, and they will bring you more at your request. I added all the sides, stirred them in, and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. As we were eating, the staff checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything else. They were very kind and genuine. We really enjoyed our experience here and had a good time!

This was the perfect place for dinner on a chilly winter day. The owner is super nice and a real ambassador for the food. I got the dak-bokkeum-tang (spicy chicken stew) and it was delicious. The portion is also huge there were two whole chicken thighs, and it was full of potato, carrot, and onion. The banchan were also delicious my favorite was the cucumbers. My partner got the tofu bibimbap in the stone bowl and really enjoyed it we love finding places with good vegetarian options!

There are not enough stars to rate this properly. This is by far Lubbocks BEST restaurant! The owner is one of the sweetest people you can ever meet. I felt like I was eating in my grandmas dining room. The food is homemade and you can tell. They have 2 specials that were on display, I tried one of the soups. This was the single best dish I have ever had the pleasure of eating. This food is exceptional. Better than anything in Dallas, Austin, or Houston. The service was beyond excellent, again it feels like Im dining with family. I felt so well taken care of. The atmosphere is the best part. Seoul Korean Cuisine is the most homey and welcoming restaurant in Lubbock. The environment is very chill. As soon as we walked in the door we both felt very comfortable. The restaurant has excellent lighting between artificial and natural light. The interior is very warm and comfy. In summary, Seoul Korean Cuisine is not only my favorite restaurant in Lubbock, but my favorite restaurant Ive dined at. I truly believe everyone should try this for themselves.

Phenomenal, handmade Korean food! Im ready for my next visit already This gem of a restaurant has friendly and attentive staff and made for such a calming, delicious meal in a lovely environment. The bulgogi (fire beef) was the best Ive had since I was a little girl and the chef was so kind and made sure we loved everything! What can I say, I loved the place. I loved the environment. I took my roommate here to eat here because Ive always wanted to try this Korean restaurant, and 5/5, didnt disappoint. I had a great time. The staff was super nice and cordial. I had the chance to talk with the chef ( I believe), and she was super nice and attentive. We had a minor inconvenience, but they were super professional and took care of it in less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend it and I will definitely visit more than once.

It was a pleasant surprise to have discovered this restaurant. Our quick stopover at Lubbock for lunch was more than the satifaction for the authentic food we ordered, but the super friendly and accommodating staff and in-person service by owner, Sue. According to her, she put in extra glass noodle side because its Thankgiving day in Korea. We were touched by two regular customers who came for special visit to Sue with special gifts. It happened right in front of us and got us emotional just to see how they appreciated her friendship. We felt we already knew her. A person who has a lot of passion in painting and jewelry design tell a lot about how passionate she is to customers and how she presents her food. This restaurant was amazing. Not only was the food fantastic but the service was beyond the best service Ive ever had from a restaurant. We had 13 people with us tonight and everyone ate all of their food. Go eat there you will not regret it. Kid-friendliness: The owner brought the kids food as soon as we sat down so they werent cranky and brought them snacks after the meal. I have a 3 year old and she made a mess. All of the staff told us to leave it they would take care of it. Best experience a parent could ask for. They were amazing.

It was so, so delicious. Ive never written a review... I want to recommend it Rice cake soup, dumpling, pork cutlet, kalguksu, soft tofu stew, kimbap We ate like this... Everything was delicious. (I think all the other foods are delicious too ) I really wanted to eat Korean food during my trip... I enjoyed it so much~ Later, the female boss came out from the kitchen... We just moved from the Dallas area and we were looking for a good Korean restaurant. We werent sure if we would find anything comparable to some of the Dallas restaurants . Seoul Korean Cuisine had great reviews so we decided to give it a try. The food was excellent and the service as well. You order at the counter and get your own plates and table settings. The food, however, is brought to you by the staff in hot pots/hot plates. We ordered the egg rolls as an appetizer which were fresh, hot and delicious. For entrees, we had the spicy beef and spicy pork dishes and shared them. We were stuffed and still had enough to bring home. The entrees we ordered came with rice, kimchi and other pickled vegetables. The inside is nice and looks very clean. The outside is a little off putting as the street sign isnt functional so it is easy to miss. The driveway into the restaurant parking lot is a little bumpy. Remember, dont judge a book by its cover. Go try it if you like Korean food or just want to try something different.

Not trying to hate, this place gets great reviews for a good reason. The staff is super kind and very attentive. The quality of the cooking is very high very home cooking feel to food and decorations. But as someone who has traveled through much of Asian the flavors just seemed very basic and simple. The sticky pork had great spick level and a hint of smokeyness but not other real flavors. The kinda dish you get bored eating after you half way through. Dumplings where kinda same, dumpling themselves very well made but dipping sauce was bland.

I think this is the best restaurant I ve ever been to in Lubbock. The furniture feels classy and homey, the service is amazing- everyone was so friendly and seemed proud of the food, and the food was SO GOOD. This was my first time and I was blown away. It was expensive, but not for the amount of food you got. I left in a food coma and still had at least 2 meals worth of food to take home.

Among the best Asian food you can find in Lubbock. This amazing place specializes in homecooked style Korean cuisine, and they are phenomenal at it. The lady in charge is amazingly talented, and she s so sweet and friendly and she always makes sure you re taken care of. She might be one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. The food here is soooo good. I love the seafood noodles, octopus rice, chicken rice, honestly you really can t go wrong with anything. And this restaurant has hands down the best kimchi you can find in Lubbock, there is nowhere that can make it better. Their side dishes are insanely good. Phenomenal food. As far as restaurants in this town go, this is among the top of the best, no question about it. Highly highly recommend.

Great place to eat! The prices are slightly high, ranging from $12 to $18 per person, which is reasonable for an average American family. The food quality is above average, and they provide excellent service, offering an authentic taste of Korean cuisine. I love this place, the food is always consistent and the service is always really good. The menu is small and effective with lots of variety to choose from. It kind has a unfinished whole in the wall vibe a little but dont let it deter you from the food, they recently moved buildings so its still a work in progress but the food is really good. The parking is a bit rough, not Alot of parking and a bit small, but it matches the need of the restraunt. Its never too busy when I go around lunch time so it would be suitable for an hour lunch. Great service, food I highly recommend this place, its clean, bathrooms are clean, good for a lunch date or all by yourself. I will say the food is a bit pricey, youll be paying around $15-$20 per person, but the portions are good, I always get full. Parking: The parking is there, but its not Alot of it, and it seems a bit un-developed, but you are able to park on the side. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, not a menu dedicated to the kids but no ones coming here because the kids chose it, so theyll be find with whatver you get them. Best Korean food with great hospitality!! I was here in Lubbock back in January with my friends. I wanted to introduce them to Korean cuisine because its one of my favorites, and this place didnt disappoint me. At first, I was a bit skeptical because Lubbock is a small town and I drove from Dallas, so I wasnt expecting a lot. However, I found the food tasted more fresh, homemade, and better than many restaurants in Dallas. The hosts/servers were very comforting and gave us candies at the end as a New Years treat, which made it even more special. The menu is limited, but everything was top notch. We tried spicy pork, pork stew (Kimchi Chi-ke), bibimbap, spicy dukbokgi, and every dish was deserving of five stars. I have promised myself to go back again whenever I am around Lubbock.

I love Korean food a lot. This place just got so much better with its new location and new owner. My husband tried it today in this location for the first time and he absolutely love it. The food was great and obviously it was home made. The owner was very hands on and would talked to his costumers casually. He was very accommodating and workers are very friendly.
