We stopped in for a few drinks. The employees, who I also assumed were the owners were very nice. Even the other customers were friendly! We had a flight and a beer and enjoyed a little week night out.

I recently spent two nights in Lubbock, with the express purpose of visiting every brewery in town. For those keeping score, I made it to all six. But I must confess that when I typed Frost Brewhouse into Google Maps and started following directions, I was surprised to find myself in a rather nondescript strip mall. Further muddying the waters was that, in spite of signage for the brewery, I still managed to go in the wrong door, winding up in an African restaurant next door. Oh well. As the brew dude told me, it happens all the time. I loved the simplicity of the operation. Completely unassuming nor pretentious, it was clear that the chill cerebral vibe was the appeal. In fact, I asked who their clientele was, and he said graduate students and professors. At last! I had found my tribe! I sampled three beers, and then went in for the kill with a pint of my favorite. First off, I sipped wee glasses of Study Break, a coffee blonde (4.5% AbV; 10 IBU), followed by Mistbourne Hazy Wheated Session (4.5% ABV; 70 IBU), and KFM IPA, an English-style IPA (7.8% ABV; 55 IBU). They were all amazing, and the KFM is especially good when everyone and their brother is trying to out-hop one another with their doubles and triples. Their English IPA was delightful from front to finish, a never elicited a hoppy beer frown for being a tad bit too forward. But the winner in the house was the Study Break. Show me a coffee-infused beer, and I will show you my favorite without reconsideration or regret. This was amazing. Any coffee beer should never exceed 5% coffee, lest it become not beer. The coffee notes did not overshadow the beer, producing a delightfully aromatic and tasty beverage that got my vote for top billing. I could drink coffee beer all day, and this coming from a guy who routinely chugs some pretty heady IPAs. I loved the atmosphere of the brewery. It doesn t have to be trendy speedy or any of that. Just keep it basic, and brew good beer. These guys do both.

I love me some Frost. One of my fave places to grab a good pint. Laid back, small, craft artisan local brewery. The owners and employees are all very nice. I always seem to make friends here. You should give it a go. Support local. Grab a pint. Win-win.

A pretty cool new brewery. The owners are very nice and Im glad we stopped by. We liked their stout and light American ale. It is not crowded on weekdays, so feel free to stop by if you want to have some chill time + there was a fun Thursday trivia. Will definitely come back!

Fun place! Really liked the chill atmosphere and the Thursday trivia. I was even able to play their board games. Will come back for sure. All people working here are friendly. Check on their social media for what beers they have for the week. My favorites were the suit up stout and the flying tortilla ale. I wanna add that they don t have a wide variety of craft beers yet, but they compensate with a good atmosphere.

Local beer is a treasure in its own, like a signature steak or a piece of art. The Bohemian Raspberry is delicious, pairs well with light aromatic foods. The strawberry seltzer is a must for any seltzer lover. Bold, crisp, tart, and overall leaves a sense of satisfaction to the palate. Dont fret if they sell out, it is a painstaking process to develope and brew these works of art. Have a little patience and you too can indulge in the splendor.

Wed been waiting over a year for this place to open and we were not disappointed. Such a great spot. Owners and knowledgeable, personable, and welcoming. Location is convenient to some excellent restaurant choices (Vizos and Woodys right next door, many more along 34th). Highly recommended! The stout and IPA are my favorites. They have a seltzer for folks who dont love beer. And board games! And a generally chill, neighborly atmosphere.

Any time a five-star brewery opens and the math on the reviews doesnt add up, if youre like me you probably go to see how crazy someone must be to leave a one-star review. Kayla and Trevor Frost (what a great name for a beer brewer!) at the time off writing this dont have children (yet). I pray their brewery is the raging success they deserve, after the storied opening process that hard-working business owners know, and compassionate patrons appreciate. Keep checking back as their space is constantly evolving, and maybe one day they will have children of their own running around the brewery that 34th Street deserves, right next to the incredible African restaurant, Vizios, that Lubbock should be proud to support.

Great beer brewed by better people right here in the 806! The seltzer and the IPA are top notch, could put back multiple of either or them. Frosty Mug Club is a crazy good deal for any craft beer drinker who enjoys a nice hefty pour. Environment is welcoming to both college students and families. Just scratching the surface for what this brewery is gonna be. Grab your wife, husband or your homie and take them to Frost for a beer!

All have very crisp flavors and Im excited to see what they make next!! Ive been to a lot of breweries and this is one of my favorites, it feels very homey and clean and like everyone is welcome.

Let me preface by saying my husband and I love visiting craft breweries but this one was a huge disappointment. Choice of only 3 beers....neither of ours were very good. Place has zero ambiance or atmosphere. Owners kids running around and lack of selection gave us the strong impression this was basically a hobby and the owners couldnt care less about running a truly successful business.

No food is served, but you can bring in food from outside establishments. (Luckily woodys & vizos are right next door) I will be back atleast once a week!
