Excellent food with a true Mediterranean flair - authentic gyros, stuffed grape leaves and Greek salad . Absolutely YUM SECOND VISIT - Ice machine STILL broken. Soda fountain NOT WORKING ($2 for a 12 oz canned soda). Most of the napkin holders were EMPTY. Case of toilet paper was sitting on the food counter ????? Much improvement is NEEDED!

I ordered shawarma and gyro from Tiba Grill for takeout, and it was absolutely fantastic! The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The sauce added the perfect richness. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring my order was ready quickly. This is hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I ve had. Highly recommend!

Finally, phoenician food in Longview! Gyro, grape leaves, and falafel were amazing. a beautiful presentation as well. I cant wait to try everything else. Dont sleep on this chick, yall! The young woman in the kitchen was throwing it down. orders were steadily coming in, and she was steadily rolling everything out with great timing. Im reading some of the other reviews here.I feel like an injustice has been done. Shes obviously a young business owner. And it takes at least six months to work out the kinks. If you had a bad experience, try again because what I had today was excellent.

Wow! If youre looking for great Mediterranean food...this is it! It was a burger joint before. Now, its a burger joint with Mediterranean baubles dangled from the ceiling, and Indian music played too loudly. Its a place to get great food...be happy with that!

I went to Tiba on a Friday at 2. I was the only patron. Still the staff was very friendly. I got the Gyro with hummus and pita dippers. It was a great choice for me. The Gyro meat is a combination of lamb and beef. It was just the right balance with flavorful spices, not overpowered by the tzatziki. And the hummus- oh you have to get the hummus! On my next trip, I m going to try the Falafel Plate.

I ordered falafel plate, because they cant sell platter of falafel, THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE APPARENTLY WHO CANT DO THAT, The description says 7 pieces, and it came with 6 pieces, and they are frozen fried. Bcoz I can see the oil bubbling, but inside was cold. How can someone mess up hummus, their hummus was watery. For 6 pcs of falafel and pita and little salad 13 dollars is really steep, I have had better food elsewhere for dirt cheap and better. Was really looking forward to this place, instant disappointment

I was so excited to come and try this place! When I say I was disappointed, is incredibly an understatement. My family and I were just talking about the food because to us it did not taste like how every other mediterranean place has tasted. Mind you we were talking amongst ourselves when the worker came up and asked us how we liked everything. We were honest and said it did not taste how Mediterranean food typically taste and was not that good. Besides the chicken it had good flavor. The worker goes off on how the owner is Lebanese and everything is authentic. Then she proceeds to go outside and make a call I m guessing to the owner because she comes back asking if the food places I have been is Hala because their food is and that is how you tell if it s authentic. I was not trying to argue with her but she kept going on and on about how their food is authentic and how the places I have been are not. Even though she had never been to any of the places I have, who is she to judge? I feel like everyone has a right to not think the food lives up to their own expectations and I was not going to complain or anything. The only reason I m writing this review is because I felt attacked by the worker who would not leave us alone.

I ve come back three times for the food and three times the food has been good. But in the same vein, three times has the service been peculiar. I m not usually one to write about service. Show up, take my order, and don t look like you just rolled out of bed. But that bar hasn t been attained at Tiba yet. Each time, questions about the menu haven t been meaningfully answered and upon asking them, there is an awkwardly long pause, a stare, and then finally an attempt at answering. But today was the most egregious. the lady taking my order was wearing literal pajamas, with messy, unkempt , visibly dirty hair, while explicitly picking at her nails while we made a selection. Gross is the only word to describe it. I m sorry, I feel mean writing this, but is a step below unprofessional, and it needs to be resolved. And take this last one as you will, but the restaurant always smells like industrial cleaner when I go in. Or like a freshly cleaned preschool cafeteria.

Food was good but the location was a mess. Water on the floor, paper towel machine in the mens restroom was broken and hanging open, several sodas were out and covered with GrubHub tape and receipt papers. The temperature in the restaurant was 80°F but the thermostat was set at 72° so A/C was obviously broken. Babaganoush was nicely smoky. Pita bread was commercially packaged and not super fresh. Gyro meat seemed like it was pre-sliced and then grilled to warm, crispy instead of juicy. Maybe this location needs a bit more work before we return again.

Food used to be great when owners were there but not anymore. Too much money to be served food in Styrofoam containers. All becsuse these lazy kids dont want to wash dishes. Food was also cold. Food cleaned us out when we got home. We wont be back.

Love seeing a new place open in Longview. Delicious food at a decent price. Have been there two times since they opened and the food is consistently delicious. Can t wait to go back 5/5 Updated review 5/21/24: Weve been back 5 more times. The next four times were decent, but each time we visited. it got a little worse each time. It feels like the new staff doesnt have the attention to detail, or quality, from where they started. The last time we visited was not good. The rice was overcooked and crunchy, the hummus had a puddle of mystery liquid on it with hardly any hummus, the pita bread was hard, the tahina was watery and seemed old. The chicken kebob was good though. They were out of fries, and there was a debate from FOH and BOH if the friers were even working for falafel to be cooked. Soda maching had 3 selections, and a puddle of water underneath it. Despite the lack of different restaurants, not sure Im going back based on the last visit. 1/5

I had the beef shawarma wrap, drink and greek side salad. The salad was basic with no other veggies but the wrap was tasty. Everything was 15 bucks which I thought was pricey since the salad was basic . I will give them another try and try something totally different.

This was the worst food and customer service I ve ever experienced. I order beef shawarma on rice with Greek salad and tzatziki sauce. The beef was tough and barely warm, the pita bread is a cold pita pocket cut into triangles, and the entire plate is covered in red spice that is less than pleasing. I wish I could post a picture. I asked for a refund and offered the plate back and the response was I can choose something else, which was chicken and they were out. They would not offer me a refund and the manager couldn t come off the line because they re swamped even though they had one order on the board the entire time I was standing at the counter and could be heard laughing and talking throughout the restaurant. So now my family is out $15 for food that was less than desirable, left uneaten, and we treated as if we were the bad guy for not liking their food and asking for money back so that I could go buy something different for dinner.

The portions for the price were terrible. I needed to buy something for lunch and dinner and the best option was a plate but the cheapest option was 15$?! The flavor itself wasn t bad. Was rushed a bit through my order while they weren t rude I felt like I didn t have time to look over the menu when no one else was even in the restaurant . Lacked sauce on a SALAD? And again the portions are just way too small for even a single meal. Unfortunately don t plan on returning.

Got there opening day about 7pm. Food was excellent. Service was a little slow because 2 employees did not show up. With the staff way over burdened, I can say they all were amazingly polite, smiles..cant imagine how tired they must be. The young lady working the front was so very good. Keep her! So glad I dont have to go to Tyler for our Mediterranean fix. Close enough now I can get take out and get home while still hot! I hope more of Longview will visit and see just how amazing the food is here!! Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options. Think only the bread and rice have gluten.

I ordered take out for 5 people, 2 adults and 3 kids. It was $78 and the portion sizes were pitifully small. My order was incorrect in regards to a food allergy request of no pita bread (which should not have been a problem with gluten free mentioned on the menu), and the rest was really bland. My lamb kabob was just a few thin pieces of meat, 3 that were small ground meat patties and 2 that were actual slices of meat. I think they must have ran-out and improvised. The kids said their chicken was good but portions were again very small so we ended up making more food at home. Picture of the $8.95 kids meal exactly as I recieved it. I ordered 3 of these and they were all the same. I was really excited to try Tiba Grill but was immediately dissapointed. Dietary restrictions: Menu key indicates a symbol for gluten free but nothing on the menu bears that symbol (as of writting this). I was verbally told which items were safe and to order with no pita bread. I was very clear about no bread (due to an allergy) and it still came with bread. My mom asked them to leave the feta cheese off her salad (due to an allergy), they did but then added an unlisted dressing that had cheese in it. They mishandled both our allergies. We were on seperate tickets so I dont think we confused them.

Good to see a Tiba Grill open closer to Gladewater. Much smaller than the Tyler location. Approximately 20 tables, most seating 2 to 4 people, so larger families will have to spread out. The location is very small but the food is outstanding. My husband and I shared the Classic Gyro combo, under $14. We were expecting the classic pita bread with lamb but it was served as a wrap, the bread was more like a shawarma. The dill sauce was nice and the lamb was awesome. The fries are very nice and crispy. We will definitely share a meal here again. Thanks Tiba.

Such an amazing new addition to Longview! We used to travel an hour to get to the Tyler location so we re thrilled to now have one so close! So far we ve been two nights in a row! The food was very tasty. This is what Longview needed. The atmosphere is not near as cool as their Tyler location, but it looks like they made the best with the building they had. Prices for some items are extremely high ($5 for a side of tzatziki), and portions can be a little small for the price of other items. Some in our group were still hungry after their meal. They had outdoor seating, but it was in the sun without umbrellas.
