I sent my wife to get dinner tonight and I wanted Chinese and she wanted Tias because she loves their food. She called her food in, picked my food up and then went to Tias in Longview. She ordered a cocktail to go upon arrival. After waiting 50 minutes, and the bartender checking on her order the kitchen lost her ticket per the bartender. We are regular customer and understand things happen but this was ridiculous. The manager came over and she told him she called in her order an hour and 5 minutes ago and the to go cocktail was watered down. The manager told the bartender to remake my cocktail and that was it. We are regular customers and this was a terrible experience all the way around.

I love this place! I tried this place when my grandparents came to visit. We LOVED the food, live music (the man had such a beautiful voice). It has pool! Great atmosphere! The owner is so nice! I love that all the restaurants are family owned! I would have never thought that cajun, and Mexican could go well together. What a wonderful surprise!

Salad dressing was very runny, fried oysters were tough, hush puppies were hard. Fried shrimp was so-so. On the other hand, the fries and blackened tuna were good. Too bad all the food was cold after a long wait for it. Only the live music was truly enjoyable.

Ti Juanitas in Longview, Texas, is an absolute gem! Our group, which included people from all over the United States and Canada, had the pleasure of dining here, and we couldnt have asked for a better experience. Jacob and Sherry took incredible care of us, ensuring that our evening was nothing short of perfect. The hospitality was warm and inviting, making everyone feel right at home. The food was outstanding. It s clear that the team at Ti Juanitas takes pride in what they serve. If you re looking for a fantastic dining experience with a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Ti Juanitas. We left with full bellies and happy hearts! Thank you, Jacob and Sherry, for making our gathering so memorable!

Ordered the beef tacos today and the shells were stale, 2 of my friends orders were mixed up hey people make mistakes, but when the kitchen makes a mistake there should be an expeditor that s double checking The shrimp nachos looked awful like the cheese was non existent it had been under a heat lamp so long you could not see it Same thing with my other friends nachos (pictures included) Now let s talk about that little bitty fish filet, I love to fish but there is a size limit that you can keep, these filets were way below the legal size of a fish you can keep(picture included) I know as a former waitress that there were days I left the restaurant with hardly anything due to slow season, bad section, poor rotation of the hostesses whatever the reason. ?point? Groceries are high and money comes very hard for some people there should be some higher standards put in place at this location I know 14 people who will not be back, Check your kitchen so others won t have the same experience.

I have been to this location and to the location in Henderson several times. The food is good, not great at this location. I think its overhyped considering what it is. The last time I was there, I specifically went for oysters. They claimed they were doing maintenance and couldnt serve oysters. Not sure why they would be doing that kind of maintenance during lunch hours. There was one incident where the service was terrible, which I posted a review about that was deleted. Overall, the service is just ok. I think this location is just so new and has lots of issues to work out. Its possible that management and FOH/BOH employees need more training.

Its hit or miss with the food here. Ive sent food back, not eaten an entrée, and loved some of the food. The oysters are always good. Service has been great. The Longview location is a little heavy-handed with their seafood seasoning, which is a bit salty. Anything with the grilled chicken has been really good. Seafood enchiladas are great. Shrimp quesadillas were greasy. Shrimp tacos are my favorite, but I have received them over seasoned. I have not tried any of the fried seafood. Overall, I love the atmosphere and will return. Ill be selective about what I order here.

Came in for a late lunch and ordered 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell, queso and seafood enchiladas and two drinks. The oysters were Ok they should have been washed better as they were gritty . The queso was very good. The seafood enchiladas were cold. Talked to the waitress and she took the seafood enchiladas to the back and obviously slapped them in the microwave as the salad and pico on the plate were hot when she brought them back. At 22.50 for 2 enchiladas I expected better. The atmosphere was good and waitress was attentive. For the price I expected better attention to detail on the food and food that was prepared fresh not slapped in the microwave. I do not mind paying a higher price for better quality food but this was not my experience here. It was a higher price for mediocre food.

My wife and I were here before with a group of 6 on a Saturday night. She and I decided this time to come by ourselves early on a weekday to try it out. Tonight, Dyonte was our server and he was excellent and had very good recommendations. Very personable guy. The wife really liked their top shelf frozen margarita and we got some chips and salsa. Neither of us were keen on their chips, they were a little stale, but we liked the salsa and jalapeno ranch. She ordered the chicken quesadillas with pico de gallo, guac and Jalapeno Ranch. I ordered a large bowl of seafood gumbo with some crackers. Service was quick, Dyonte had mentioned that the quesadilla was on the grill and sure enough the food was out. The seafood gumbo was good but the large bowl was a bit too large for me. Next time, I plan to order a small bowl of gumbo. Dyonte noticed that I was getting a little low on crackers and slipped me a few more without a word. That is a sign of good service. The wife enjoyed the filling quesadilla and the Guac was very fresh. She ended up taking home half for lunch tomorrow. Which I should have been smart enough to do with the gumbo. Good drinks, good food and good service. We will be back to try other things on the menu.

I have been here twice. The food is good, the service is ok, there are lots of options. We couldnt remember what we had the first time so it must not have been amazing but it was good. This trip we had chargrilled oysters with jalapenos and bacon. The bacon and jalapenos overpowered the oysters and they were overdone see pics. Small house salad with lunch. I had fried oyster and shrimp basket very good, cooked perfectly. My colleague had shrimp wrapped in bacon and jalapenos. They were good and very nice size. Served with grits and a mango pineapple chutney that was amazing. Service was lackluster. Guy only came back once when we were almost done. Parking: Plenty of parking

Some of the best seafood in town! My husband ordered the gator tacos and they were the best gator he had ever had. Not chewy and marinated and flavored wonderfully. The ahi tuna steak was cooked to perfection and paired with the mango salad brought all the flavors together. The blackened redfish and cream sauce were a show stopper! The fish was fresh and flaky and there were just enough spices to get you excited for the next bite. Dont forget to try the gumbo! We had both the seafood and chicken. Both were great but the sausage in the chicken gumbo was outstanding. We cant wait to go back again and try the Po boy sandwiches. #GoogleGal

Wanted to love this place, but we didnt. From the menu, Im getting that its Cajun Mexican and we were not really sure which would be better to try. Went with the Mexican side because I tend to be really critical of fish restaurants, if Im not getting real domestic catfish. I grew up eating straight from the creek catfish, so its just a sticking point with me. On to the Mexican side, my husband ordered the beef tacos and I ordered the beef supreme nachos. Dont get me wrong, the portion on the nachos was huge - in fact, it was beyond too much. Food, though, was just average. I seriously could have thrown these nachos together at home. I will give props to the server - she was very attentive and did her job well. The one other sticking point was the music is exceptionally loud. We were raising our voice to talk to each other across the table. Nothing about our experience screams that well want to go back.

Our firstexperience here was great, but things have changed. The servicewas lackluster. Both my wife and I ordered the fish and shrimp with a baked potato. Both of our potatoes were refrigerator cold and not baked in the center. We had to rob another table for condiments. If this was helpful, please like this post.

The great: Shrimp and grits The good: chicken quesadilla, Piña colada with toasted coconut, salsa, service The isn t worth the extra charge: the chips to be clear, totally ok to charge for chips, IF they re incredible. These ain t. Kinda thin and stale. The wish was quieter: great singing but the speakers were TOO loud The weird: wouldn t give us a ball park wait time over the phone. Said it was against company policy. A little nonsensical imo. This place is a step up from most Longview restaurants. We ll definitely be back.

Service was lacking and was brought raw food. Only offered a discount, even after having to pack my food up, after asking and then 20% on the dish only... Ok. But the server had already stated manager was taking care of it and mgr knew nothing. And was lied to by waiter and told we would be charged extra to have it packed up. Food (appetizers at least) were good but probably wont be back.

Although the food was subpar to say the least the drink was good but it was very messy around the bottom & stem. The waitress Shaun was VERY nice with everything going on. I will NOT get into specifics about the food but we had ordered quite a bit to give a good assessment as pictured. I will say they have room for ALOT OF improvement in the back of the house. I didnt recommend anything because I am not recommending this establishment.

Firstly, know that management intervened or my experience would have rated a 1star due to the horrible service. Waitress was in no way capable of handling 2 large tables and a smaller one. Management could have physically helped themselves and should have been observant of the situation. Chips not filled in a timely fashion. One basket of chips for 7 people was totally not acceptable. Extreme food allergy not relayed to the kitchen. Luckily it was noticed before a large amount had been consumed and Benadryl alleviated the discomfort as opposed to an emergency room visit. Great taste (other than the burnt bread pudding), copious amounts of food for the price, atmosphere and restaurant cleanliness eased the irritation somewhat. Getting the ticket mixed up with the next table after payment and having over $300 held on my bank card, even still today (4 calendar days later), as opposed to $176 caused a call to the bank to see when the pending $131 will be released back to me. Normally, I would have given the waitress a token $2 but since she became emotional, I provided an undeserved $24 tip. Having to wait for remakes put a kink in our celebration but all in all...I would return to this establishment sometime in the distant future.

Just WOW! Busy place and they still got us in and out in 45 minutes on a Friday lunch! Megan was TERRIFIC! It was our first time so we had a few questions and Megan knew her menu! And she was extremely attentive...we wanted for nothing. The food, gosh, what can I say that you havent heard B4? Oh, I know....I not much into fish...its usually kinda smelly and strong for me. Im kinda shocked that I ordered the Blackened Redfish Pontchartrain but the menu IS full of seafood . This meal was utterly amazing! It had a sauce on it that complimented the fish To A T! And that pico..mango, pineapple concoction was the best fish enhancer ever. Hubs got the Shrimp Brochette. He liked it. He enjoyed the whole meal but I dont think he liked it as much as I liked mine. I can say that his meals presentation was terrific. Hubs is the type of guy that orders the SAME thing every time and only goes to the SAME restaurants over and over. So, another testament to Tia Juanitas was that he actually said hed like to try a few more things on the menu!! We will return! Just visited for the 2nd time. Another great experience. If Hunter recommends it, go with it!

I had the seafood enchiladas and they were excellent. Staff was very nice. Margaritas were terrible and they also charge for chips and salsa. Pretty pricey but still worth checking them out. Definitely a different type of cuisine! Kid-friendliness: I d imagine it d be a great place to bring rambunctious kids to as it is very loud inside.

Incorrectly added up the stars. . This is a solid 2 stars for a group of 6 people on. Wednesday night. Cant imagine what its like on the weekend. First: I had to get our own silverware, I asked for it twice from our server as well as another and it never came so I stole it from another table because out appetizers arrived but no silverware to eat it with. 2nd: No self respecting Mexican or TexMex restaurant in Texas charges for Chips and salsa, but these folks do and that wouldnt be so bad if the chips they served werent shredded into tiny pieces. It was like getting a bowl or very large crumbs or tiny chips, take your pick. 3rd: All but one order was messed up. Fries where veggies were ordered, rice where fries were ordered and forgotten sides which arrived towards the end of the meal after a few reminders. Some dishes like the seafood enchiladas were good and the reddish Pontchartrain was ok, tasty but overcooked. Others were less inspiring and there are far better places for perfectly cooked fried fish and shrimp. Alas this place is subtitled as fish camp but clearly does not live up to that name aside from the decor. I do not recommend this place and will definitely not be going back. Parking: Very large parking lot for a very large facility that gets very busy. Be prepared to walk a bit

Don t order the fried ribs whatever you do. Dry, tough and so much salt they prob float. Our 3rd time here. First 2 were great. I don t know what happened here. Best thing on menu is shrimp and grits if you order without the veggies (too many on top of grits). Previous visits service was spot on. This time so many mistakes in our orders, ie., seafood nachos instead of our order of seafood enchiladas, queso is so thin and watered down you can barely know it s cheese, gumbo is same (roux tasted like dirt water). I am from Louisiana, born and raised, grew up on Cajun cooking, especially gumbo and my daddy is rolling in his grave. I hate to leave this type of review but the food is pricey here and today .. not worth even half the cost. New cook?? Maybe. Also, the music is so loud I bet a lot of orders are misunderstood cause even shouting it s hard to place your order. Not necessary. I guess I don t need to say that our party of five very hungry adults were sorely disappointed.

Juanita can be my aunt any day of the week!! This is the first time I had grilled oysters, and boy, were they good!! The fried fish and shrimp could have had more seasoning. I had a cup of seafood gumbo, and it was good. My fiancée got a Margarita on the rocks, and she enjoyed it. The service was fantastic!! The waitress was very attentive and kept checking in on us. The atmosphere was nice, they had good music playing. We are looking forward to going back to try other menu items!! We got some sopillia cheesecakes to go, to be continued...

We finally decided to try this new place out in Longview and it was good! We started off with a cup of seafood gumbo and boudain balls. My kids didnt complain. I had the grilled red fish with grilled veggies, a side salad and 2 shrimp. It was alot of food! The mexican rice was ok and I have tasted better at other restaurants. The pineapple salad was not good and I picked through it. The mushroom sauce with real mushrooms on the red fish was very yummy! My kids had the fried and grilled shrimp and catfish baskets, Grilled salmon with veggies and a side salad and the fried oysters and shrimp basket. They liked everything but they perferred The Catch when it came to fried seafood baskets. I spent around 147 due to drinks and the appetizers. Next time I will try one of their drinks and seafood enchiladas :-)

First time to try this new place in Longview. Plenty of seating and a great place to take larger groups. The menu is extensive with many options from creole to Mexican to fusion. Should be something on the menu for a wide variety of palettes. Recommend sharing some of the creole appetizers. The food was tasty and the servings were plenty if you want to share a meal. Definitely worth checking out.
