Every time I visit this place it is a bigger train wreck. I went in to see if they had what I was looking for and there were about 5 corporate bosses standing outside looking like they did not know there head from a hole in the ground. They did not have what I was looking for I had my daughter in the cart and I went out the door where people come in the shopping cart wheels locked up so I could not leave like I was stealing something this a joke if you are the only adult and this happens and you have a bunch of kids with you this is a clown show they make it more complicated to leave with a family now you have to juggle your family across the parking lot without a cart. Kroger is a diper fire its cheaper and easier to take your business to Walmart ZERO STARS FOR YOU KROGER you do not deserve the one star that this review makes you do

We drive an hour one way just to shop at Kroger. The grocery stores around where we live are around 1$ or more more expensive per product, and Krogers quality of meat, the Nolan Ryan brand is a good quality brand. This store is older, one can tell however the employees are always nice and very helpful. And the Kroger points program really saves on fuel price also.

Good sales if you can figure them out. Cashiers and carry out baggers are nice and courtious. Slow check out times. Con: purchase product a few times and then never stocked again, like Walmart. Runs out of sale items 1st day. Deli chicken is no longer good.

Usually I am a fan of Kroger but this last visit I was treated as if I had stolen something when i did nothing wrong. I do not need your kiosk flagging me down when I did nothing wrong and then the customer service lady staring at me the entire time I finish checking out, even trying to look into my wallet as I reached for my card. If you are so worried about thieves, ma g be pay your employees and do away with self check out but stop treating others as if theyre inherently trouble makers and thieves just because they have chosen to spend their hard earned money with Kroger. I for one will no longer spend about a grand a month there, instead Ill be going to Brookshire brothers

Adding an update for the baffonery. Contact someone above the store manager if youre having issues with employees. Implement more drug test or fire the management. If employees feel comfortable with harassing or openly profiling customers, maybe management is the problem. Is this the streets or a place of business? Ghetto Dont trust the manager Michael. He encourages and condones it

Love their variety but shopping without their loyalty membership is strictly for the wealthy. Checkout with the app and clipped coupons is really confusing. If you dont do it just right, you wont get the discounts. It seems to be a multi-step process you have to figure out on your own.

Is it possible to give a -5 star review? Maybe not, but here goes. I have been to Krogers all across the U.S, while traveling for work. I absolutely love Krogers, especially the Krogers Marketplace. Moved here to Longview 3 years ago and WOW!!! This is THE WORST Krogers I have ever been to. Customer service, here, is non-existent (minus about 4 employees who have highly exceptional customer service skills: Jamoya, Bryan, Danny, Troni and miss Deborah). The rest? Horrible! Will talk to you as if you are supposed to know the answer to what you are asking (only because they dont know the answer and want to deflect onto you). They will rush you to leave the store starting about 2 hours before closing (they over do it on the P A system every 15 seconds letting you know they will be closing and you will be stuck out if you dont hurry and grab only what you need before closing... Nowhere else has that ever been done!!). Store is just as ghetto as any Walmart from the big cities. If you want to know what a real Krogers looks like and how it is ran, visit the one in Saginaw, TX located at 4750 W Bailey Boswell Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76179. They are the best one I have ever been to (and I lived there for years). There is an older lady who will practically stand behind you and constantly ask you if you are ok and ask if you need help, every 2 seconds... and there is another older lady who is a real you know what. She nags and complains about any and every one and thing. All day long and all night long (depending on the shift she is working). She threatens customers to close the store down because she doesnt feel good, or if she starts crying out of nowhere and tells everyone her problems... makes it to where nobody wants to go there. She has her picks and lets only a certain group of people steal right in front of her and lets them walk out... meanwhile, as soon as they walk out, she literally tells the rest of us at self checkout how they were stealing and didnt care about the store and how if she would have known, she would have called the cops... and when asked why she let them do it (we all have seen her allow it), she goes into victim mode and starts a whole other rant. smh... The meats are nassssty!!! I know a great steak (I am a chef)... and their meat is super low-end and gross. Bought meat from there 1 time and cooked my steak medium rare... with a slight sear to it (2-2 1/2 min on each side) with butter. I did one of there steaks that way and it came out super dry, gray and tasteless. Never again will I ever buy any meat products from them. They use dye to make their meats look fresh.... but it most definitely is not. Well just say it is on the line between growing something inside it and decaying. They add dye and wrap it up again and sell it. I have seen it with my own eyes. Krogers Corporate needs to shut this location down completely.... because this town does not deserve one. At all.

She immediately came out and told me what to get and where also if I didnt find it to let her know. If this pharmacy was on my insurance list I would transfer all my prescriptions to it because of her customer service. I never felt like I was being rushed or she was too busy although she was she still took time to help me, legendary customer service.

Store should be closing at 1AM everyday however the ladies that work the self checkout (since thats all that is open between about 10PM and 1AM) lock the store doors anywhere from 12:35AM to 12:45AM. They refuse to let anyone in. Starting around 10:30PM they get on the intercom and tell customers they have so many minutes left before store closes and if you have a lot of items you have until about 11:30PM to check out. After 11:30PM it is 15 items or less. Also be prepared to hear that message every few mins. If the ladies that work that late have to leave directly at 1AM or be in bed as soon as possible they should have another employee working it instead. You will get denied entry at 1240AM when they close at 1AM even when you tell the lady you only needed milk. Kroger do better!

I went grocery shopping at this Kroger, today. The store and the large, free parking lot were reasonably clean. The workers I interacted with were polite but not especially well-trained: The gentleman at the deli misunderstood how much cheese I wanted by a pound, and the lady at the self-checkout startled me while asking if everything was okay, to the point that I got the feeling she thought I was trying to steal groceries. The bagging area at the self-checkouts is far too small to fit a cart of groceries, and the bagged groceries have to be placed back in the cart in order to ring up the entire cart of groceries. I was pleased that this Krogers store carries Boars Head deli items and that the produce was fresh. I appreciated the sales today: Half pork loins cost $2.49/pound; Kroger canned vegetables cost $.88/can; Raos soups cost $3.49/jar; and Tostitos tortilla chips cost $1.99/bag.

This store has so much International Food it was amazing. Way more than the upscale Brookshires or Super One and way more than Walmart even has. They have an awesome Asian section with all the items I need. I was excited to find Indo Me noodles, chili oil and Duck Sauce. Ive been looking everywhere and aside from the Asian market no grocery stores sell it. They also have fresh sushi, I know its grocery sushi but were in East Texas so we take what we can get. I refuse to go to the local restaurants and pay $20 to $30 for sushi. Went to Krogers and a sushi chef was there so I picked up some amazing Sushi. IT was completely fresh and yes he also customized an order for me without any problems. The only thing I dont like is that you constantly have to have your Krogers card with you to get any of the deals. Some people like me are always misplacing them or forgetting them, I just dont have them at the time when needed. The store is out of my way and I dont get there often but when I do I would like to enjoy their advertised prices without having to constantly look for my card.

I had hurt myself pretty badly and it was late and I was in desperate need of medical supplies (didn t want another hospital bill) I arrive an hour before closing to Kroger (at least that is what it said online) only to be greeted by two women smoking a cigarette screaming at me into the parking lot (no no we are closed) already confused I just accept it and get back in my car. I Then I think maybe they might know a place that would be open for medical supplies. I get back out of my car and ask them and they scream back in an ugly tone (no I said we are closed!) that was by far the rudest way to treat a customer especially when in need. This is my first bad review or review.. ever really. So if that says anything. Learn some manners ladies Update: it s sad that NONE of these reviews have been addressed or anything. They are not friendly. Most of the workers look like they are are angry most of the time (there are a few notable exceptions). The checkers at the self checkout are inattentive and usually seem more interested in chat with each other than helping customers. I have actually been accused of shoplifting by a manager here. He followed me to the parking lot then told me I didn t pay. When I told him that I had paid and showed him my receipt, he just told me to come back inside. Once inside he took me a self checkout with the payment screen still up. I told him that that was interesting and all but I was using the lane next to the one he showed me. He just said ok and walked off. The food selection is decent but inconsistent.

I first visited this store last fall and was quite disappointed. Lousy produce (worse than Walmart - picture that) and my Kroger+ card did not work there. We brought the latter issue to one of the managers attention but he dismissed it as an issue with my card which I knew was BS since I used it just fine at Kroger and Kroger affiliates all over the country (like Dillons in KS and Frys in AZ). I reported the above to corporate and fast forward to this year and now my K+ works there and their produce section is much improved. The only thing keeping from giving a 5 star is the under staffing of cash registers to force you to use self check (to be fair this is not just a problem at this Kroger let alone other grocers)

I did a pickup order yesterday and I had to wait until I got here to find out that about $63 worth of groceries were out of stock. Why not notify me beforehand? They were completely out of any kind of chicken. And their substitutions are not equal replacements. Instead of giving you a bigger size for the same price of the exact same item, they want to give you something to equal the price! Walmart will give you a larger quantity just to give you what you wanted. Done with this store and their pharmacy!!!

Let me state facts about this store go along get along gang When you check out at self checking you have a few female employees that like to engage in messy behaviour and when called out they play the victim. Messy little girls not grown mature women. Continue with that same behavior you will be confronted by a reality (real woman)Hope this helps?

Management at this store is absolutely horrific, this leads to the employees themselves having a bad attitude about having to work. The posted hours for this location mean absolutely nothing because several times a week practically, they plaster a handwritten sign with marker saying that they close at 11:00 p.m and lock the doors. . Considering that this is the only grocery store open in all of East Texas after 11:00, it is ridiculous that they cannot maintain decent enough staff to keep the store open for posted hours. Never been more disappointed in a grocery store than with Kroger

The cashier by self checkout was super helpful! We were not from the area and she explained where to find everything I needed. I left with everything I was looking for plus a few extra! I haven t been to a Kroger since I was a child since we no longer have them in Louisiana. It made me miss having one here!

Not many customers wear a mask as mandated by Texas Governor and US President. Not enough cashiers. We dont buy a large bill of groceries here only a few item. This is because the self checkout is normally the only checkout available. The ad, in many cases requires you to buy 3 to 5 items, CONFUSING, to get sale price.

Yes, I love the fresh products in this store. Having worked with bread, I know the bread comes from the same bakery on the same day as the bread delivered to a Walmart store but this bread is softer and seems fresher. Kroger milk is great as well and having worked at the distribution center in Keller, TX, I can tell you that the produce and meat products are received and delivered with care. JUST ONE COMPLAINT! When you walk into the store, a sign requiring masks for coronavirus protection is there but at 10 pm tonight, there were a couple of people working with the check stands that were wearing their masks around their necks and the manager on duty wasnt wearing a mask at all while working closely with customers and other employees...could someone remind him there is an ongoing pandemic that has killed 34 people in Gregg county.

Where do I start...They are taking absolutely ZERO precautions during the Covid pandimic! NO signs reminding people to social distance, NO arrows to direct people, NO towels in the bathroom, NO sanitizing carts, not even any sanitizer so I could do it myself! If I get the Corona it will be because I came to this place, I honestly didnt even wanna breath in there. So gross! The aisles had boxes, displays and trash in them, the employees acted like they were to only people in the store, cashiers were even rude. We live in Tyler, there is no Kroger, so we drove all this way and I get this.

My assigned associate, Kalena, and the rest of the staff at this store are absolutely incredible! It only took 63 minutes from the time I confirmed my online order until my food was at my door (25 minutes away)! Ive never really shopped at Krogers before, but I wont be getting my groceries from anywhere else from now on! Thank you sooo much for serving our community during this time of crisis! Y all just made me into a life long customer!

I would definitely recommend this Kroger purely for the fact i won t shop anywhere else and have to drive over an hour to get here. The selection of items, common and unique are better than other retailers. The staff is helpful and the other night in went in late and a young last named Lauren helped me find two items i couldn t locate. When it came time to checkout only self checkout was open and i m not interested in scanning my own groceries so Lauren saw me and opened a register and checked me out. This employee seems to have great care for the customers and goes that extra mile. Y all are lucky to have her.

This was the worst Kroger I have ever been to. Customer service was non existent..not 1 person greeted me. My cashier didnt even say hello. I had to bag half my groceries. Ive gotten better customer service from Wal-Mart. I doubt Ill be going back. Very disappointed.

I am currently in the customer service line that is backed all the way down aisle 8. They never have more than 1 person for this department which is absolutely ridiculous. This gentleman is working as quick and very pleasantly as possible. Managers walking past without even offering to help or even send him help. This is every-time I set foot in this store. Ugh

Went to this Kroger for the first time today. I have been to a lot of Kroger stores. I think so far this is the worst Kroger I have been to. This store needs a remodel inside and out. The floor is falling apart and the parking lot is dirty and needs cleaned. The store is well stocked but seems like a smaller Kroger than others. The store staff are nice and its also a busy kroger store. The gas fill up Is Tiny and they are out of all gas but reg unleaded.
