The worst BBQ I have ever had. I bet the bbq plate at IHOP is far superior. Brisket had no flavor and tasted boiled. Dickeys used to be a really good place....its all oven baked with no flavor. We walked out after. $55 bill with very little to show for it. Ugh. Will never go back

They took FOREVER to get our food out and they kept messing up, this is what the $19 2 meat plate looks like.. laking meat and they gave me old Mac and cheese. Other people with me waited longer for their food also just to be messed up. Others here waiting forever and having issues.

Sometimes when you get in a hurry mistakes will be made. I was in a hurry today to grab some lunch. This is the WORST Bar-B-Que Ive ever had. Ive eaten at well over 500 BBQ joints and if were really counting its probably close to a 1000. I got 2 super dry ribs with the flavor of a burnt tire and 4 thin slices of yesterdays brisket that was also dry. I absolutely hate to trash a restaurant in this economy but theres a reason why the last Dickeys didnt last in Longview. This one wont last long either. Btw, the toast was wonderful and the service was really good. Do yourself a favor and go to any Bodacious location in Longview or Carters BBQ and skip this atrocity.

Ordered a Brisket meal online...fries were cold, requested new and received them way over cooked. My sandwich contained two pcs of brisket cut into and angled over each other to look like more. They were far thicker than any cut I have ever seen and difficult to chew. Ive never seen anything like it. Normally, brisket is sliced around 1/8 of an inch thick and has several pcs layered on a sandwich. To me, this says they dont know how to cut meat. Coke lacked syrup but there was plenty of carbonation - yuck!

The food was amazing. It came out really quickly. Everything we ordered looked as good as it tasted. All six of their BBQ sauces were really good. They have a sauce for everyones palette from sweet to spicy. This will definitely be on our lunch menu from now on. Thank you for the great food. The store was very clean. The employees were very friendly. The prices were higher than other Dickeys that Ive been to. I had gotten a rack of ribs and barbecue beans. The beans were not cooked thoroughly. The ribs were burnt black on the outside and raw on the inside and tough . I love Dickeys because the meat always falls off the bone..not at this one.

The chicken is always my favorite. My 2 & 4yr old love it as well. They are always so nice, like today when I arrived with my 2 & 4 yr old in hand. As I was trying to place our order my 2 yr old having a massive tantrum on the floor by our table for probably 5 minutes or more. They never said a word or looked at me like I was crazy or a bad mom. Once the kids meal arrived with her chicken/Mac and cheese at the table she was a brand new happy kid. I love eating her on Sundays cause you get a free kids meal with an adult purchase. We love ALL the Dickeys weve been to in Dallas. This one in Longview was a complete disappointment. We specifically ordered moist brisket and we both got what was 100% pre-sliced lean which must have been just sitting there drying out in the open. Question I have is this: do they think that because we were out of towners, did they think we dont know our meat? Seriously? The ONLY reason they get 2 stars for food is because they got us moist meat after we complained. It took 2 people from kitchen plus a couple of snickering employees sitting on tables in the restaurant to fix it. Sad. I guess an empty restaurant at prime dinner time should have been an indication that this was going to be a disappointing experience. With a few amazing Bodacious BBQ places around town and all of them being great, we thought we would give Dickeys a chance since we always enjoyed the DFW area establishments. We were mistaken. * Came back a second time the next week, and I had to change my stars to three. If not even a two I got the same thing and I was highly disappointed. This time I almost said something about it, I know brisket is supposed to have some fat on it, but this was like 70% fat needless to say , I only ate half of it and there was so much fat on this I couldn t even enjoy it. Pretty bummed! I m guessing they had a complete whole new cook today because the first time I went it was amazing -Just went there for lunch and I actually got the brisket kids meal and I was very very impressed, will definitely be going there a lot more lol I did think it was a little pricey for a kids meal, but it actually came with quite a bit of food considering a kids meal, so overall, I was really pleased with it and the brisket was so tender, I loved every bite of it 5 stars for this place for sure. Ordered 2 chopped beef sandwiches to go. Upon inspection, noticed how extremely dry the meat was. Even after dousing it with sauce, was hard to swallow.
