This place has the best BBQ I have ever eaten anywhere. I ve had the sliced beef, rack of ribs and Bourdin. All excellent. I travel 80 miles one way to eat at this place and have been for 25 years. Never disappointed.

Ribs werent the best .July 4th 2024 sat in drive thru almost a hour, watched others come after I been in the line & no one comes to take our order but when I get to the window I m told I can t get what I want bcz the took their orders instead of ours that had been outside WAITING 30-40min before those ppl came & with this I WILL NOT BE BACK SINCE THAT S HOW YOUR BUSINESS WORKS Any other day someone would ve been out taking orders .Bodacious on Mobberly St. is better when you catch them Open .

Carters has the best BBQ in Longview (and its my favorite in all of Texas)! Their brisket, ribs, boudin, sausage, sides, and sweet tea make for a delicious lunch or early dinner. I highly recommend stopping by and getting a plate of anything off the menu because its all delicious and made with a lot of care. The staff have always been friendly, and I appreciate them a lot for always being kind when my family or I come through.

Wonderful atmosphere and the staff were friendly. Great assortment of beverages We had a chopped beef sandwich and a meat plate with chopped beef and pork ribs. Potato salad is swimming in mayo, with some pimento and a little bit of potato. Overall taste is very sweet. Staff didnt know what cut of beef they were serving. Whatever cut it was the meat was tough. The ribs were good.

I try not to voice my opinion often like most people do but I was destroyed when I purchased a chopped beef sandwich along with a rib and link sandwich thru drive through. Instead I was given a chopped fat sandwich instead. When I took the first bite I noticed a nasty greasy mess in my mouth so I tried another bite. Pure fat is what I received so I called the store immediately and who ever worked that evening said they would take care of it. So I placed the sandwich, onions and all in the fridge. I personally like their barbecue been a fan back when it was a different name. The owner wouldn t dare let a sandwich go out the restaurant like the one I received but never get too relaxed having others run your business.

My all time favorite BBQ spot. Im an ETX native and every time I come home this is a must stop. My wife had an entire attitude when they were closed when we came to town. The workers are always friendly and patient. My go to is the chopped beef sandwich, which you can make another sandwich with the extra meat falling off the bun. Everything Ive tried is good. If youre driving through give them a try.

This use to be the #1 place to get BBQ. I use to go there twice a week... Approx. spent $30+ each time. Last few times they said they were out of ALL Beef, Sloppy Joes & dont cook Chicken anymore! Ok, so I settled for a Ham Sandwich and Boudan Sandwich, 2 teas and a Lays chip. 4:15pm Thurs. and no Beef? Well it was horrible except the Tea was great, Lays Chips good! $30?... That wont happen 3rd time! AND... Never see the Owner Kurt there anymore... Bad Deal!

Food was good but service is horrible. Cashier LaCie was very rude and condescending when I asked them not to combine my two separate sandwich orders in one box. I was told I should have told her when I ordered my food that I wanted it separate. I said I thought it was an understood if I am paying for to orders that it would be in separate boxes. Cost more for less food and poor customer service. Definitely not how Mr. Carters standard used to be. Still will go occasionally but will travel to other places for barbecue.

We arrived late on Sunday. All they had left were hot links and Boudain. I got the links; my son got the Boudain. While we were there eating, I could hear the cook talking about a woman who came in earlier and wasnt happy. He was saying how they didnt need to cater to the customer because Carters was family-owned. I hope that isnt a sign of things to come.

May 23, 2023 - I havent been at Carters Bar-B-Que on Eastman Road in Longview Texas in years. So I decided to pickup 6 of your Sloppy Joes, pickles and onions for dinner. My kids didnt get sick but I didnt and I still remain sick today and its June 3, 2023. I when to my doctor an said the food could not have been at the wrong temperature. Staffing not washing their hands, a number of things. So I was told to let it run its course. So Monday I go back to my doctor for a follow-up.

Me & my coworker decided to go to Carters after Me being skeptical after the last incident. Last year in August I ordered a Chopped BBQ sandwich it gave me the bubble guts. I ordered another Chopped BBQ beef sandwich thinking maybe it has gotten better. It was worse than the first. I got food poisoning, had to take off from work. I do not recommend their Chopped BBQ sandwich.

First time ever coming here and it was worth the time and wait in line. Loved the brisket sandwich. It was a little higher than the menu online, but everything has gone up so I wasnt shocked. Bbq sauce went well with the onion and seasoning on meat. Girl at the window was very kind and they were generous on napkins as well. Sweet tea wasnt overly sweet but the drink size was a 32oz. Definitely will recommend and enjoyed it over anywhere else in town. Parking: Lots of side parking if needed, not advisable to park in the front may get trapped by drive-thru

Carters has been my go to place for BBQ for many years. I live in Oregon now and every time I come to visit Longview I always make it a point to visit Carters. Their boudain is really good and delicious and their other meats are as well. I even got my wife loving Carters. Would recommend to anyone who loves BBQ.

Be advised I went to Carters today and got charged more than the advertised price on line, which I know prices may have been adjusted but the bad part is, when it was brought to the cashiers attention she deflected and said it couldve have been the other Carters in town and when I told her it was pricing for 510 S Eastman Rd which is where I was she laughed at me, this is not good customer service

The BEST barbecue spot in town!!!! This place is picky daughter approved LOL. Staff is friendly & go out of thier way to help. Brisket was super tender, sausage was juicy & tater salad was creamy & went perfect with the meats. Location is easy to find. Parking is amazing an added bonus they have a drive-thru window.
