me and my family have been going for years I love their hot dogs and sweet tea. They are simple but flavorful and always hot. Best chili dog from a drive thru in ETX!!! Great corn dogs! Their polish deluxe sandwich is delicious! Fries better than McDonalds! Always quick and friendly service. Definitely stop by and give them a try... support local Longview business!

Its really fast, great service, great atmosphere, and a real dang solid hotdog. Its also super cheap. My friend got a bacon something or whatever hotdog for 4 bucks and was loooaded on bacon. Highly reccomend.

The next entrepreneur in Longview needs to open a legitimate Hot Dog Express to replace the Hot Dog Pony Express in Longview. Waited 25 minutes in line and had to leave. Those Dawgs are not that good.

The food is really good, but new management and new help is awful. We have been coming here for years and ordering the same thing. Bacon Nacho cheese fries with a hot dog cut up on top. There has been no problem before and it is really simple. But the new people they have hired will not do it but they will put a cut up hot dog on the side in another container. . We will not return. The people that have been there are very nice just not these new ones that have no idea what they are doing.

Just meh. I love hot dogs and finally got a chance to swing by to try out this local legend. There were two cars ahead of me, so I figured it would be quick (heck, its just hot dogs.). After an inordinate amount of time, I finally got to the speaker. A simple two chili dogs and drink order. After repeating it three times to the lady, I was just handed a drink with no food. When I corrected it with her, I figured no big deal. It literally took 5 minutes to make two chili dogs. Well at least they will be great, right?? Wrong...simple boiled dogs, chili that was equal to Hormels out of a can all smashed in a sticky wrapper. Honestly 7-11 has far better dogs with better toppings for less. Even a Sonic dog is superior. Im sure this place is nostalgic for some folks, but as a neutral first time customer, Ill keep driving down the road.

Fast food done right! After seeing enough people reminisce about this place online and noticing that they spruced up the outside, I figured that this was worth checking out, and it was! The shoestring fries are lightly seasoned, an interesting spin compared to the big box places, same for the chicken rings which Id compare to Burger Kings nuggets. But the real gem here is the Chili Cheese Dog, which is a simple hot dog with good sliced cheese and a chili on the thin side that perfectly reminds one of a meal at home. Easily recommended over the big names!

Tonight, for the first time in a long time, I am very disappointed nothing tasted fresh my chicken rings theyre all dried out like theyve been sitting under a heating lamp. The french fries were not fresh I waited for ever in line to order then I waited forever to order then I waited forever for my food never waited that long out of all the years Ive been coming there, and Ive never been as disappointed as I was tonight in my food. As long as I had to wait, that food shouldve been fresh like it is during the day when I come and it dont take as long then.

I love the Polish Dogs with Sauerkraut! It does come with Mustard but, I personally prefer without because its just good old American yellow mustard. Nothing wrong about it. I would just prefer it with a German brown mustard instead. Ive had the Chilli Cheese dogs also..and its pretty good as well. Overall, I will continue to keep coming back in the future because its ran by a great staff of family ownership!

I looked on the website and it says the close at 8 on Friday. Drive there from Gilmer and they close at 7. So I took my entire family and as I was there several customers were walking up and there were people in the drive thru so I would say that you might want to update your website because you are losing business because you close and advertise something different. To say that our entire family was disappointed is an understatement to say the least.

Quick, easy, and exactly what you came for. I crave a chili dog from time to time and this is the place to get it here in Longview. Their chili sauce is on point and always consistent. Not sure what people see in this place!! We ordered a chili cheese dog, polish chili cheese dog, corn dog and loaded fries. EVERYTHING WAS COLD!!! From the bun to the chili! I even saw what they use for the corn dog. I can do that myself from any grocery store! This was ridiculous and makes me miss Coney Island!! They were always hot and fresh. We will not be back!

I wasn t able to purchase my hot dog because they have a $3 charge minimum and I never carry cash. When I get to the window the lady says it s a $3 minimum charge do ya wanna add something else.
