We had the most wonderful and beautiful wedding here on 12/14/2019! The staff was so nice! The prices are so affordable! We cant wait to come ring the bell for our 1 year anniversary coming up!!!

Cute historic chapel for a bargain price in DFW! Where some venues charge 3-5K for just the building, you can spend that on your entire wedding here!

I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life and I feel that I will always carry the emotional and mental pain that these people have caused me. Its taken me almost a full year to be able to write/think about my experience without falling apart. If your event goes off without a hitch, you might be fine, but if something unexpected/unwanted occurs, causing you to cancel, be prepared to endure harassment and to have false accusations made against you. Then, when you try to talk to them about their treatment of you, you will have yours, your familys, and even your lawyers attempts at communication totally ignored-- so really, just get ready to have the absolute worst customer experience of your life.

Update: I got a response from owner and unfortunately the city is in charge of cemetery upkeep, so I want to apologize for assuming the two were related, the chapel is actually quaint and if I were looking for a venue to have a wedding I would be thrilled to have it here. Original review: Well, I cannot speak so much for the wedding chapel, but the plaque that is attached to the outside of the chapel, happens to be given by my ancestors. I went to visit the cemetery last weekend where most of my family can be found, the Uecker, Esch, Berndt, Dean, Widtman, plots amongst others dating back to the 1800s. I was disappointed to see how overgrown the grass and weeds were across the majority of the cemetery. I was actually scared I might get bit by a snake or spider idk. Not really sure who oversees this maintenance or if it has anything to do with the chapel anymore but just putting it out there if anyone can provide info on this.

We had a few problems with this place from the time we booked it 9 months prior. Communication was a huge problem and what s worse is we chose a minister from the list they provided and he never showed up. When I m trying to keep my bride stress free that isn t exactly the way to do it. They should have called our minister the day before to make sure he was going to show up and spare my bride a huge heart attack- her blood pressure is already high. However, everything worked out in the end and things flowed smoothly with the coordinator. Despite a huge ball being dropped, my bride left happy and calm so I am a happy husband. We still made great memories and the wait staff was very helpful.

Hope they have improved. This place ruined my day. Only positive was now I get my dream wedding and an apology. Very small. If you don t have a DJ or want any of the traditional stuff that makes a wedding, go ahead and waste the money.

We had our wedding on March 18, 2017. I was probably the most difficult bride but in the end special moments staff kept me level headed and made our wedding day spectacular. Very affordable and this is the only venue that includes your cake and also cake cutting services. If you think you need to overdo your wedding you dont...they basically have everything you would need minus a few items here and there but you get exactly what you pay for and then some. If you want your day to be memorable at an affordable price I would recommend this place.

Quant little chapel right behind Vista Ridge Mall. Good for smaller gatherings (less than 75 people). Only setback was coordinator cutting off the music during the couples first dance. Ouch!

Special Moments made my wedding day absolutely perfect. Lisa and Jasmine were amazing and kept everything running smoothly. It was exactly what I wanted our day to be. The chapel was beautiful and cozy, and the reception hall was just as lovely. I wouldnt have changed a thing. I highly recommend Special Moments if you want your day to be awesome!

I cannot say enough about this incredible wedding venue!! They did and incredible job, helping us plan, finding us vendors, and doing all they could to make our special day stress free and memorable. They truly care about their bride and groom, and do all they can to make you feel happy and special. I didnt think I could afford a beautiful wedding, but thanks to Special Moments Chapel, I got more than I dreamed possible. They make a dream wedding an affordable reality! The venue is very intimate and cozy. I think if you would like a extremly nice wedding. The chapel fits a hundred guest and reception hall which is down the side walk fits 75 comfortable. My wedding was 60 people and the fact that I was able to have the wedding and reception in the same location was a plus. The staff is very uniformed and helpful. They are detailed with all the help steps to make your wedding a success and very friendly and calming which is what a bride need during the time of planning. I absolutely love this place and I will sure to have another event with Special Moments Chapel.
