Me and my guys from work got there at 6:45 am to beat the rush when they open at 7am. We pulled out of the parking lot at 7:18 am. I thought you open at 7am ? You definitely lost a sell this morning Aug 21st 2024. You also made me look stupid for telling the guys how good your food is. I highly doubt I ll be going back.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time today and MOST DEFINITELY recommend!!! As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with a friendly smile. Service was very prompt on getting us drinks and taking our order. Food came out pretty quickly. Food portions are well worth the price and just as good!!!! I think everyone needs to try this small business out!!!!!

It s a small mom and pop shop. Customer service was above and beyond. They had new servers but you couldn t tell, we literally had different servers at our table asking if we need anything, how everything was and never missed a beat with us. First time here. We had pancakes, waffles, eggs and bacon w/ sausage. It was a pleasant experience and will be back. The server was so shocked about the tip he received. We are always grateful with that over the top servers, they deserve to be treated with respect and appreciation, always leave gratitude!

I ve been meaning to try this place for a few months and I m so glad I finally did! Food was amazinggg, the omelet, French toast, and hash browns were all delicious and the portions were big. Service was quick and the employees were all friendly. We will definitely be back!

Managed to get there today. Been trying to go back because I really like their food when I went before. But theyre posted hours of 7:00 to 3:00 Monday through Saturday and 7:00 to 2:00 on Sunday were very limiting for me. They came to the door and said they closed early because no customers. They said it was really busy earlier. Said I should come the next day on Sunday. Told him sorry Id be in church and wouldnt be able to make it. Then the guy says theyre on their way to church and thats why they closed early. Well which is it, no customers are closed to go to church? Very disappointed! I told them this was not the way to build a business.

My husband and I decided to try Wisco Tx Cafe based on the reviews. It is a cute little hole in the wall place. The food is generous size portions and extremely tasty. Our server was very efficient, but the restaurant was understaffed. While our server was excellent, she appeared to be the only employee working the front. I noticed that all parties orders came out in order the order that we were seated and ordered, but the service could have been faster if there would have be another pair of hands. That being said...the food is great! The skillets are huge portions and I kept sneaking seasoned potatoes from my husbands plate. If you are looking for a new breakfast place, give them a try...but just be prepared that there may be a little wait.

Although I have been here before and raved about it, today was a whole new experience. After finally being seated, we noticed that the couple seated next to us (seated at the same time as us).quickly placed their order while we waited another 20 minutes to place ours. The family on the other side of us had been seated before us but due to the slowness/inattentiveness of the server, placed their order long after us. Oddly enough, we got our food before either couple did. Table was sticky; no one asked about drinks; and we had to flag down a server to place our order. We each got the breakfast burrito, which needed something like gravy to alleviate the dryness. When it was time to leave, we had to go to the counter ourselves as no one came with the check and to-go box we asked for, despite repeated requests on our part. All in all, the restaurant was understaffed and very unprepared to handle the number of customers they had today. In spite of the large number of customers they had today, this restaurant has been in business long enough to handle the amount of customers with ease.

We came on Fathers Day Sunday for breakfast around 11am. The wait wasnt too bad to be seated, but the A/C was poor, and the service was horrendous. It took more than 15 minutes to be greeted by our server to take our drink and food orders. Then, it took over 30 minutes to receive our food. Some tables were raising their hands trying to get service and I had to get up twice and go to the front to get coffee creamer for the table and later to get a to-go box and our check so we could leave (even after asking the person who delivered the coffee and food). I wish I could say they were just understaffed, but there were 3 people who stood around at the front chatting and trying to hide that they were on their phones... The food was just ok and the coffee was bad (watered down and tasteless). The prices are reasonable, the portions are good, and the parking is adequate, but these things dont make up for the bad experience.

For starters when we sat at our table the waiter told us to move to another table because a group of 5 was going to sit there. since we moved tables it got all out of whack. We had to let the waitress know that we wanted to order water since the table next to us who arrived later had already ordered drinks. Then ordered our food. I can t exaggerate we waited about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, my mom even wanted to leave because of how long it was taking. The food was decent except the skillets. Those had more potatoes than anything and since my mom is on a strict diet she hardly ate anything. This was the first and last time we ll come here hopefully y all will improve the restaurant service soon for your other guests. And with due respect Thank you for serving us.

Stopped in for breakfast for the first time over the weekend. We were greeted and led to a table almost immediately. I can t remember our server s name, but he was great! I ordered the Wisco Tex skillet and was pleasantly surprised when it actually was served in a skillet. The portions are more than generous and the food is very tasty. Will definitely be back soon!

Food was good. Service was decent enough. They kept the coffee and water refilled. The reason I dont give 5 stars is when I got the bill, there was an item I hadnt ordered and when I brought it to the waitresses attention, they said they had noticed that. Why bring me an incorrect bill? Then, when I went to pay, the person coming around the table to take payment had preselected a 20% tip. That confused me, because I saw the total didnt match up with my bill and then was told I could choose whatever tip I wanted. Why preselect it then? It just came off as shady practices. Otherwise, I enjoyed the food and the establishment. As far as the extra item, I understand that mistakes happen especially when busy, but why admit to knowingly trying to charge me for it instead of fixing it before handing it to me. Maybe it was a misunderstanding. I dont know. Definitely try them out but be wary when it comes time to settle up.

We had skillets, which were enormous and generous, and the chicken fried steak one was delicious but mine was conspicuously dry and hard to swallow. The side of sour cream I ordered to add moisture was conspicuously tiny.. I would have done well with 4 of them maybe. The pancakes were fine.. and our waiter was ok..not especially attentive. Never offered a refill on our drinks, but brought our food in a timely manner and was polite.

Wouldnt recommend it. Was looking forward to trying this place because it had such good reviews. My family went in on a sunday. The service was horrible. I had to ask numerous times for a silverware, a napkin, and a glass of water, all of which i never received. My husbands skillet was burned, and his eggs were overcooked. My husband also had an order of biscuits and gravy, which of his favorite, he took 1 bite and set it to the side. My sons chicken was also overcooked and didnt really have any flavor. My omlete had apparently been sitting for a bit because it was not very warm. I was going to ask them to remake our order, but no one ever paid any attention after bringing our food out. Save yourself some time and go down the road to kc or mill street cafe

Local Family owned, was busy on a Tuesday afternoon @ 2 PM w/construction workers and law enforcement. Y all already know what that means. Food came out in a solid 5-6 minutes max and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back and keep recommending to all my friends and family.

Our first time to WiscoTx and it was a good one. I got the Mexican Omlette with Chocolate Chip pancakes, both were excellent; i didnt even need syrup or butter for the pancakes . The pancakes came out regular the first time, and before i could even tell Josh it was fine when i mentioned it, he was on top of it getting it fixed. My girlfriend ordered a Custom Skillet and it was HUGE, everything had such good flavor and well seasoned. Our first time here, but certainly wont be the last. So many other things sounded great!

This place just opened. In terms of breakfast food, the food is exceptional. Large portion size, delicious unique dishes, and affordable.
