Sushi. All you can eat. Excellent quality fish - need I say more? We tried nearly EVERY specialty roll and all of them were incredible. They have a grand opening offer which i suggest you take advantage of before they discontinue it - a complimentary sake is always welcome, but I still opted to pay for some scotch. Yes, they have hard liquor and even a cocktail menu with daily deals. I really wanted to try their mai tai... next time (I think its Fridays) They have desserts such as fried oreos which were surprising to find but were delicious. Even their vanilla ice cream was great. I would be very happy to eat here again! Gochisousama deshita!

I don t know how their food is, nor will I ever. They need to be more responsible with their marketing. A flyer was left under my car s windshield wiper and many others at the Walmart on Main. When I came out there were several flyers blowing around the parking lot and I saw at least one person stop their car after leaving because they weren t aware someone had placed a paper on their car while they were shopping. My car is like my mailbox. Don t touch my car unless it is your right to do so. Don t market on private property without the owner s permission.

I found out about this restaurant from their grand opening banner and me and my dad decided to go since we were looking for a sushi place other than Kura. Turned out it was a great idea! This place specializes in sushi, nigri, and sashimi and it was miles better. The fish was all fresh and delicious. Its not listed on their website but theres a promo for buy one all you can eat dinner, get a second 50% off on mondays which turns out to be a great value. I think another weekday has $1 boba drinks. What I usually order are the tuna, salmon, and egg nigiri, the four seasons tower (spicy tuna, avocado, crab, rice), miso soup, and teriyaki chicken with a matcha ice cream for dessert. My only gripe is that they dont have a more variety of food that arent sushi (ramen, udon, karaage, takoyaki, etc) but thats to be expected since this is a sushi restaurant. Attached are photos I took of the food and the menu! Theyre as follows: 1. Chicken Katsu. Comes with the sweet chili sauce that usually comes with egg rolls. Good, but wouldve preferred it if they had tonkatsu sauce. 2. Tuna, salmon, egg nigiri. Across the table my dad ordered tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. 3. Chicken hibachi. More of a savory, peppery sauce vs teriyaki. 4 and 5. Menus. All of it is included in the all you can eat dinner besides drinks.

This place is so great... Im so surprised that they gave me unlimited sashimi... And the yellowtail today was so delicious. It felt like eating tuna belly. The servers were very nice and the other kitchen dishes were also excellent. Is this okay at this price? If theres one thing thats disappointing, no, its not a regret, its something that cant be helped. My wife and I go to a restaurant together. And the reason I go to All You Can It is because I want to eat a variety of things. However, I hesitate to order fried rice or rolls because they are so large. However, it is difficult to make a roll into a small potion, so this is understandable. I recommend this place to everyone, but Im worried that it will become so famous that it will become difficult for me to go there.

I ve had this place once before, but now I can t really say I will order from here again. My order was wrong again, and this last time I ordered my, food was COLD and DISGUSTING. The shrimp tasted like the cook was being lazy and used left over shrimp from a previous order, because my roll had lots of tails. Ive been to this place a total of 5 times, 4 times closer to when it first opened. Each time I went, the food was great with solid fish to rice ratios/portion sizes. However, the last time I went, I was unable to get a handroll for the lunch special (which I had previously gotten from the same server) and the portions were significantly smaller with less fish to rice. I had two basic rolls and they were nothing like the previous rolls I had. Im assuming they gave better portions and accommodations due to being recently open during my first few visits, but the size difference was astounding. Super disappointed since I thought I found a go-to sushi spot.

We were impressed at the quality of sushi and sashimi for an all you can eat restaurant. For dessert, the fried Oreos were a crowd favorite. I give the food and service 5 stars. We had a miscommunication with a billing issue, but we were able to resolve it appropriately after speaking with the manager Kenneth. Eating here was a terrible experience. My wife and I came here for the all you can eat sushi. We ordered a large number of different dishes but almost every single one was disappointing. The biggest problem for me was the two sushi rolls I ordered. I had worked with the server to find rolls that were tempura (deep fried rolls) because I like those, but when they came out they werent tempura but also were extremely stale. Ive never bitten into sushi and wondered why it was stale until today. The restaurant has a policy they will charge you for uneaten food and I worried about being charged for not eating food that was low quality or different than I expected as there are no pictures on the menu. The hibachi and skewer shrimp was okay and that was the best thing I ate. I wouldnt recommend the fried Oreos, and the cheesecake was okay. My wife was eagerly anticipating the sashimi, her favorite. Her salmon and yellowtail sashimi had four salmon bones and three scales in it. She also said it smelled fishy. My wife almost lost her appetite after that but persevered and tried some fried food. ShuMai, one of her favorite dim sum dishes, was very small, deep fried (its normally steamed) and had potato cubes in it (what??). We ordered the crab puffs and I was shocked when they delivered crab rangoon, not what I expected, and the crab rangoon had a pretty tough texture. The sauces were really weird as everything was not as expected in one way or another. We were asked if our food was okay and spoke with the manager about the problems. He asked us what he could do to make our experience better but unfortunately there was nothing they could do to improve our experience as we got all you can eat and they didnt offer to comp the entire meal. When we walked in, we immediately noticed the floor was sticky and tables were sticky too like a bar. That didnt make sense since the restaurant just opened. I liked the interior design for the most part. They did a good job converting the old La Madeleine into a traditional Asian looking decor and its cozy. There were a few mismatched decor pieces that should be removed. Its too bad this place wasnt better. We wont be coming back.

I wasn t expecting much since these guys just opened up recently but it was so below my already low expectations that I don t know how to put it into words except to simply ask people I know to just not go here. I don t want to rant about all the terrible things that happened so I will make it simple and sweet. The food was bad. Period. I have had better food at random Chinese buffets or literally even Panda Express. If you want to read on about what was bad about the food then you can scroll to the bottom for details but otherwise if you asked for my opinion, I would recommend highly to just steer clear of this place. Our waiter Alex was great and super sweet. He checked on us multiple times and made sure we were doing ok. The manager took our food back to the kitchen and apologized for the fish bone incident and then asked us what we wanted him to do to make our experience better. It was awkward because I had already lost my appetite so I didn t want anything to be fixed and he also didn t have a ready-made solution. I hope they can figure things out so when something like this happens they have a go-to solution instead of asking the customer what should be done. Ok so what was so bad? Everything The rolls came with stale old shrimp tempura in it that was cold and rock hard. The miso soup was piping hot but also painfully salty. The sashimi had bones, scales, and more bones in it. The shumai had undercooked potato cubes in them for some odd reason and were deepfried instead of steamed. The shrimp hibachi had lemon seeds cooked in with it. The shrimp tempura was the frozen kind you can buy at Costco. The chicken wings were overcooked and very saucy. The crab puffs were so tough we couldn t eat the outer part. The chicken katsu that was very dry and overcooked didn t come with katsu sauce and came with some sort of sweet chili sauce instead. The calamari came out cold with a lemon sauce that was super bitter. The fried oreos were dry and hard. Some random side notes .. The one good thing was their cheesecake that was frozen and tasted like your average grocery store Sarah Lee dessert. The inside was super grimey feeling and I could hear my shoes sticking and peeling off the floor as we walked to our table. Once we got to the table it was also sticky and divey feeling. The interior is interesting and I could definitely tell the old La Madeleine here was still very much alive. They had a ton of post-it notes and polaroid photos taped to the wall for some reason .. this was definitely the most interesting experience I have had in a very long time.

Overall, a good sushi place. The ordering style is where you have a menu and pick what you want, all-you-can-eat style, nigiri and sashimi having a 20 pc. per person limit. The side dishes are a little mediocre. The miso soup is somewhat bland with (according to my father) a strong MSG taste (though I don t know if it actually has MSG or not). It definitely needs a stronger miso taste, which is what makes miso soup special. The tempura batter was a little too thick and the shrimp felt insubstantial compared to the thick batter tempura should have a light, crisp coating. Of course, why am I talking about side dishes? This is a sushi place, I need to talk about SUSHI. Theres a decent variety of choices, with the familiar tuna and salmon nigiri as well as the infamous California roll. Let me get this down that the rice to fish ratio is very excellent, there is a good balance because no one likes a sushi roll with a bunch of rice and no fish. My brother was ecstatic at the quality of the tekka maki and thats something to take note of since he is particular about tekka maki, his favorite kind of sushi. And the fish quality itself is very good, little to no fishiness and a good smooth texture that doesnt feel cheap at all. Its very clear that the sushi chefs here are skilled. It is much better than many sushi places Ive been in in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As for the service, it was nothing but friendly, if not energetic which I understand since this is a new business and the workers are getting used to things. There was overall nothing bad about it. Some reviews complained about slow service but thankfully we came at a not too busy time. If there is one other thing I should mention, I am wondering why there is a table seat blocking the emergency exit door which is quite strange though I assume the seats can be moved around if that was not overlooked during the development of this place. Overall a good all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. There are some bad reviews which I see and those are understandable, but hopefully this place learns from them. I think it has potential to be a popular sushi restaurant in Lewisville!

Here is an honest review based on my experience: We got to order a total of 2 times because our server barely came to our table, and she was more focused on cleaning tables than taking orders. Once we finally got her attention and ordered the second time, it took over 20 minutes for the sushi to come out because there was a big reservation and none of the smaller tables were getting their sushi since all of the chefs were making plates for the reservation (which I overheard from another table). At this point we were done because it was taking too long, and decided to leave. Our server was nowhere to be seen, so we asked the manager who was walking by for our check. It was taking a while, so we just decided to pay at the front. To my surprise, the manager was at the front on his phone, not getting our check. We asked to pay and he didn t even know our table number (so he had no intention in getting our check when we asked). He confidently said the total was $114 (for 3 people) without giving us the receipt, and I was confused because the lunch price is $20. He tried to rush us to tap the card, and my dad was going to, but I stopped him. I asked the manager why that was the total and he seemed taken back I asked him that. My mom was trying to explain that it was the just the three of us (she is not fluent in English) to which he put his hand up and told her to calm down and be patient. She was in no way being rude, and the one thing I will not let slide is disrespect towards my parents. I told him not to talk to her that way which he ignored and said the new total (without any apologies or explanations of why our total was wrong). So I asked him for the reason and his response was that our server had set it to dinner price. Regardless of whether the server made a mistake or not, he was the one who saw the bill at the end and chose to charge us that price. I understand that this is a new restaurant and I m not saying that everything has to be perfect, but how you treat your customer should be a priority of your business. Very upset and disappointed. edit: this was today (07/14) during lunch time and Im surprised that Kenneth didnt talk to you about the situation because I told him I will be writing this review. This just further shows how unprofessional management is.

We had a great time before, but this visit was disappointing. We went for a wedding anniversary and did all-you-can-eat. Ordered at 6:15, but received everything at different times with inconsistent food quality. When I complained about waiting 20 minutes, I was asked, Are you in a rush? Paying $30+ means I shouldnt have to wait that long. If youre offering an all you can eat, be ready to handle it. No excuses for soggy tempura, long waits, and one server for the all you can eat seating. Have a tablet that people can order from with runners ready. Im not going to wait for a server to get my food. Being lied to and told its slammed & busy when it wasnt is insulting. You just want people to wait long so they fill up faster and buy less. This experience ruined our perception of the staff and restaurant.

We went to Ohayo Sushi on their opening day & have been back about 10 times since then & it has always been EXCELLENT. Great way to have a buffet. Instead of self-serving yourself from buffet line (warming pans), everything is cooked to order & always fresh. Food is amazing & service has overall been very good. Our favorite server is Nathan, who has a great personality and we ask for him whenever possible. If you do not want the All-You-Can-Eat, they also offer a full sushi/habachi menu. Many Great options to choose from, including two different buffet opitons...Lunch (partial menu) and Dinner (full menu). You cant go wrong with any dining option that you choose! Lewisville needed a place like this & I would highly recommend it to everyone!

An all-you-can-eat sushi place opened near my house, so I went to check it out. I was surprised by how clean the interior was compared to the exterior.
