The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of traditional dishes. The chicken tikka masala was a standout, perfectly cooked with a rich, creamy sauce that had just the right amount of spice. The vegetarian options, especially the chana masala and palak paneer, were flavorful and satisfying. Don t miss out their evening snacks and deserts where you can just feel like visiting your hometown.

If youre a samosa lover like me, i highly recommend giving the samosas at Little India a try (Signature Snack Of Little India). These little pockets of deliciousness have become my must snack whenever I visit Kakatiya Fine Dining. The moment you take a bite, youre greeted with a crispy and golden crust which is perfectly cooked. The filling inside is what sets these samosas apart. Whether youre craving a quick snack or delicious appetizer, you wont be disappointed with these amazing samosas! Especially try Onion Samosa, Guntur Karam Samosa, Dahi Samosa and finally Sweet Samosa

This used to be best place for taste and we went in for dinner yesterday for our anniversary and its terrible taste, firstly all recipes are changed now and only thing you can see is blood red food color and utter poor taste, we ordered veg curry and they misplaced with chicken curry, naans were like papads and mango lassi was not so great too we billed $136 and left every dish more than 3/4 untouched there itself, there were 3 tables filled while we were dining and everyone complained that food is worst, even after showing the naans being crispy and hard, they did not even care to refund. we would never come back and would never recommend this again

Terrible Restaurant. We use to like Kakatiya, and have been going there for their food and ambience, but they have the worst service. We asked the waitress what curries had no nuts, since I had a nut allergy, which she responded a few different styles of curries. We chose the paneer butter masala, which after I ate it, I had an allergic reaction, because they never told us there was cashews in it. This restaurant DOES NOT know the SERIOUSNESS OF ALLERGIES, so I advise not to go here.

It took more than an hour to deliver and at the end they were saying they want refund, because it is not ready. Trash was not removed and plates and trays were over flowing, when asked they said no one there to clean. I wonder how they are being running the restaurant without cleaning people. Table also we cleaned ourselves and waited for more than one hour. At last food was delivered and we ended up take away.

Its a nice place with great potential! There are not a lot of Indian restaurants with good ambience AND tasty food in the Frisco/Plano/Little Elm area, this has a potential to be one. Food was good and ambience decent. If they can pay attention to the customer service aspects starting with seating folks in a timely fashion, setting the table properly (plates and cutlery were there, napkins arrived after we were seated), taking the order without the patrons trying to get the waiting staffs attention etc. , people might want to come back!

Kakatiya - a silent, fine dine Indian restaurant in DFW is the best place to go as a family. The menu is really great and there is not much of a food color in their ingredients. Loved their Goat Dum Biriyani, with meat being perfectly cooked, tender and no smell at all. Rare to get such find, moreover no colored rice on their biriyanis, again rare to find one like that. In Veg, we loved their fried veg maggi with perfect spice being tossed. The hospitality is really great, especially if you are served by Sravani, Vaishnavi and Bhargavi. They help you decide the house specialities and what goes best with the rest of your orders. A must try, if you want great food with perfect ambience.

We were visiting from Katy,TX and went here on a Saturday Dinner marking my sons birthday. We were promptly attended as we walked in (Group of 10!) and seated with a warmth of smile while we are pleasantly amused by the classy interiors and fine dine ambience. This restaurant came highly recommended by a local dallas family. Menu is extensive and food presentation is topnotch. Pricing on the menu seemed reasonable compared to the large portions of delicious food being served. A few tips - 1. Must try their house made Onion Samosas and I can have a truck load of them, fresh, crunch and flavorful. 2. My daughter loved chef special chikoo shake, it truly was amazing and we took 4 of them as a to-go :-). 3. We tried Mushroom appetizer, perfect combo of crisp yet soft is sure to win your heart. 4. Special Egg Biryani and Paneer pulav are there to cherish for a real long time! Next, Service - They seem to be well trained in hospitality, sounded white glove Professional, friendly and most importantly attentive. Lastly, location. There are several parking lots around. The restaurant is kid friendly. it has clean bathrooms and you can notice that restaurant manger comes to your table checking on your needs regularly. Highly recommend!!! Good ambience, service is friendly, menu is short and simple. Food tastes good and hopefully the kitchen team is taken care of by the management. Staff members are doing a good job with being courteous. Keep up the good work.

Alas! The experience I had at this eatery was nothing short of a calamity. The culinary aspirations of this establishment were woefully misplaced, and the resulting gastronomic journey left me bereft of satisfaction. The menu, adorned with lofty descriptions, promised a melange of flavors, but alas, it was a mere cacophony of discordant ingredients. The chef, in a misguided attempt to showcase ingenuity, concocted dishes that were nothing short of a linguistic labyrinth, leaving my taste buds in a state of befuddlement. The ambiance, although dressed in pretentious decor, failed to disguise the underlying mediocrity that permeated every corner. The service, akin to an elaborate charade, danced around the concept of efficiency, leaving patrons waiting in desolation for sustenance. Oh, how I yearn for a reprieve from this ill-fated establishment, where lofty words and grandiose promises fall short in delivering a palatable experience!

We had dinner there a few weeks back prior to their official opening. It s the only Fine Dining Indian restaurant in the area. Food was good, (we had the mutton curry and the chicken tikka masala) service was good. Will definitely return again.

Loved their Mamsam (goat) roast and samosas. Mutton biryani is well done. Sweet samosa is one of its kind and a must try if you are going. Food is freshly made and ambience is really good, they even have a halal store/snack place/grocery store and banquet hall in the same building, one stop for all

Restaurant decor is nice and clean. Staff is welcoming. However, Food is below average and portion sizes are very small. Surprising to see a regular Naan costing $5.
