I ve ordered from here a few times and I ve enjoyed it a lot. This time I ordered spicy Chicken fried rice during lunch hour and it seems like someone gave me left over rice with two peas and one carrot and 3 pieces of shredded chicken. I wish I open it before I left but I was in a rush and because I ve ordered here in the past I trusted the quality I ordered this for a friend who was grieving over the loss of someone and was so embarrassed about this. Very disappointed

It s been a while since I ve ordered from them so I decided to grab something before going home. Their food is good but it seems as tho they purposely turned their phone off or simply refuse to answer so that you have to order online. This forces you to pay an online convenience fee. The fee is only about $2 but it s really just the principle of it. I get you want to increase your profits, but it s wrong to finesse your customers like that. Edit: store confirmed phone service was down for the day.

I get mess ups happen but it was the rude lady that I spoke with that advised there s nothing she can do about it!!! We have been living in Lewisville for a year now and we visited this place looking for good Chinese rice in the Venezuelan style, the rice is totally good, the portion is huge, we even bought just 1 for 2 and believe me my husband He eats a lot, but one portion is enough for 2, not to mention the attention, the lady and the gentleman are really dedicated to their business and their clientele, 10/10 always, May GOD continue to bless them always for their good work, kindness and dedication We recommend OPEN RICE

The food I did have was outstanding. Only reason this place gets a 2/5 is I ordered delivery via uber and the resturant completely forgot to add my fried rice to the order. Which I paid extra for. PROs: Good location. Good food. Service is good too. Plenty of parking. No wait for seatings. Order upfront and wait. Food is quick and served to the table. Place handles a lot of call-in orders. CONs: Limited indoor seatings approx 3 tables. The establishment needs a good clean especially the drink/trash area. Meals served on paper plates and plastic ware (reminded me of covid time), unappealing and uninviting. Cold atmosphere: come in, order, shut up, eat and get out.

I decided to check this place out because I was near by and saw how busy it was and that is usually a good sign. I ordered online for Carryout and prices were extremely reasonable. My food was ready within the time they mentioned and food was packaged well for carry out. I got the Mongolian Beef and Mixed Veggies with beef. Both were decent. My order also came with two soups, Hot and Sour and Wonton soup. Hot and Sour is my go to for most places so I was excited to try theirs. I was disappointed with their Hot and Sour soup. It was lacking flavor. Wonton soup was delicious but a little on the salty side. Overall I will most likely try their food again due to the decent pricing.

This was by far the best Chinese food I ve ever had. It was phenomenal! We ordered takeout and I custom ordered mine to get grilled chicken (I can t eat gluten) and it was incredible. So fresh, and everything we got was perfect. I wish I lived closer, we d be eating here all the time. Dietary restrictions: They were able to swap out the battered fried chicken for grilled!

This place almost killed me. I ordered Singapore shrimp noodles. I have been sick as a dog since Friday after eating here Thursdaynight. Becarful yall not saying they poison me on purpose however i was definitely poisoned by the food. Thursday night dinner has turn into days of vomiting sweat and night terrors. I went to this place based upon these ratings, and sadly, I wont be returning again. On the first visit I purchased combination rice, and I swear this is the first time Ive ever had fried rice with no vegetables. You could literally count the number of peas and carrots with the dish. I decided I would try them one more time and this time I purchase the same combination fried rice, that again had the same limited vegetables and wonton soup. The soup was so salty that I literally couldnt eat it and just threw it away. It was basically salt water with a couple of wontons in it. Definitely not appetizing... The shrimp in the combination rice tasted like they were cooked in old oil and had a really bad flavor, so I picked them out, and threw them away as well. Yeah, it was definitely not worth the money spent there both times.

I got General Tso s chicken, which came with a side of rice. However, fried rice was an extra $1. I did not realize it until I got home, but the fried rice had no veggies in it. Apparently their fried rice does not come with veggies in it automatically. The portion of General Tso s Chicken was quite large. However, the chicken was chewy and tasted old. I also got an order of Crab Rangoons, which came with four. These also tasted old and hard to chew. The chicken egg roll was okay. This was all $20. Overall, the food didn t taste fresh. I ate a few bites and trashed the rest. I won t go back.

Finally! Finally! Ive tried a plethora of Asian restaurants, Chinese restaurants, and more looking for a place that would awaken my senses. The food was absolutely delicious! Let me preface my statements by saying, I was quite hungry! Nonetheless, the flavor of the General Tsos Chicken was superb and the spicy level was precisely on point! I was so disappointed. This location seems to always be busy and after trying it, I m trying to figure out why. I ordered the orange chicken entree with rice. I wasn t aware that no veggies came with the fried rice in which I had already paid extra for. Turns out you have to pay extra for to get veggies in the rice as well. I took a few bites and trashed the rest. The chicken spring rolls however are decent. The crab Rangoon were basic and I don t recommend. Only thing I would recommend are the chicken spring rolls.

I will definitely give more than 5 star to this hidden gem in all of Carrollton and Lewisville location . Open rice provides best quality Chinese food, has great Lunch options too. I have lived in this area for more than 5 years, and gave up eating Chinese food since they were no good, until OpenRice opened their kitchen . My (and my family and friends ) fav is Hunan chicken. Must-try the steamed chicken dumplings and Singapore rice noodle and Cantonese Rice noodle, it is less oily and you can adjust the spice level as you like.

Just looking for a place to have some Chinese food that wasnt Panda Express. This location came up and went inside. Amazed by the owner/cashier with how nice and social he is. Nice staff but the food is not as tasty. Salty (too much soy sauce use) and egg rolls were cooked way too fast in hot oil so it was crispy/dark on outside but chunky and undercooked on the inside. Most the dishes are filled with oversized vegetables as fillers for the small amount of protein being used for each dish. Seems like a lot of cost cutting methods being used with quality suffering from it.

First time eating here. Was trying it based on the reviews for lunch on a Thursday. Not super busy. Everything was okay. Nothing special for me. I ordered a hot and sour soup with chicken Pad Thai and to me the taste was off with both items. I felt the hot and sour soup had more heat than what it should have and the pad Thai was too sweet which didn t work. It was just off. The food taste wasn t to my liking but maybe others would like it fine.

Went to get some food. The guy at the register swiped my card then typed all my cards numbers into his computer. I thought I was not seeing correctly at first so I placed another order. He swiped the card and didnt type anything the second time. No reason to take down debit card numbers at a fast food joint

WOW! Definitely was not expecting this quality food for this price! Got an appetizer, two entrees AND delivery with a tip for less than $30! The driver followed my delivery instructions exactly, and was very polite. All of the food was exceptionally delicious and hot. Will for sure order from here again.

This is the best place for Chinese food. I ve been going there for about two years and love the food. My favorite thing to order is the combination rice noodle with a hot and sour soup, the best thing ever. The staff are super friendly and nice, food is always ready fast and delivered on time.

Good Chinese food is hard to find near Carrollton, TX. I read the reviews on this place and tried them twice. Both times I was pleasantly surprised. Great food, great service, great price. I ordered Pepper Steak, Kung Pao Chicken, and vegetable fried rice. If you are a restaurant owner and you can keep your place closed on Saturdays and Sundays, you know your food is good. Give them a try, you won t be disappointed.

This place has been my go to for asian food since day one. They always provide the best customer experience and the food is very delicious! I recently moved but still take the time to come here for my chinese food! This place is a must and recommend it to all my friends. My fave is the combo fried rice extra spicy but my son loves their orange chicken. Will be coming back soon!

This is my favor Chinese restaurant. The chef Mario was former China Dragon chef. I am so excited that he is back in Lewisville again!!! Their Beef Broccoli, orange chicken, sesame chicken are my favor!!! My husband love their General Tsao Chicken with extra spicy! Once you try those dishes, you will never order from other places. Front desk couple are very friendly. They also delivery too. Totally recommended!

The FOOD IS SO GOOD!!! Omg!! Best Chinese food I ve had in Texas. The prices and portions are great too. This is hands down my new favorite restaurant. The food was definitely fresh.
