Our family went to celebrate our oldest sons birthday and we all laughed so hard. I had asked if they could embarrass him a little and they brought him into many of their skits so brilliantly. They are quick and witty and the comedy was mostly clean. We brought our 15 year old and he was laughing out of his seat. They even offer free comedy improv lessons every Monday at 9AM that my boys are thinking about. Snacks and drinks are by donation. Highly recommended for families and date nights.

Cozy atmosphere for great community theater My wife and I caught the opening of The Mountain King and we were not disappointed. A very nuanced story and fantastic acting. Mr Clay had me riveted with his recollection of his confrontation with Abby - fantastic monologue. Joshua had me quite frightened by the lengths he was willing to go to accomplish his mission - his transformation from act 1 to act 2 was devilish! The Mountain King himself, while seen less often, had a profound impact on the story and I cant wait to see that actor in more community theater! Well done by all!

Great place for local theater written, performed, produced, etc all locally. They also have great comedy with their improv team The Denials. AND, they have this comedy show called The Friendzone hosted by the improv team All Friends. Its mostly improv, but they get other types of comedic performances from time to time. Its always fun going to The Overtime.

We had a fun experience at this quaint little improve theater. Weve been to two separate plays here and plan to go again on another date night. Both shows we went to were unscripted and asked for audience input that changed the direction of how the shows went and they could turn to horror or comedy depending on the crowd! They have a consession stand at intermission mainly based on tip so bring cash. They offer smaller improve classes and shows as well we went to the longer plays. It was great for a date or to go with a friend or 2 for a more interesting and unique experience than the normal movies.

Intimate theater setting with a fun story of Santa Claus needing the help of a former elf, now private investigator, to solve a murder and theft in Christmas City, North Pole. Great cast of characters, especially Christopher Steinmetz playing Grayson Coal, the elf detective. Walked out of the theater smiling.

Support Local Theatre! My wife and I are rather new to town, so we caught a production of Lovecraft: The Musical last night and it. was. a. treat. I used to be involved in community theatre when I was younger, and this brought back so many good memories. As expected, it was rough around the edges but that adds sincerity and rawness to it. Great performances and a kitschy original story really made our night. Word to new visitors: Bring cash for the love bucket benefiting the cast and crew and also cash for concessions. We look forward to coming back!

I had the opportunity to visit Overtime Theater last night for the first time and had a great experience. I met Nicole Esperon, managing director, of the theater along with many of the actors, Justin Keown, Kat McKenna, Lacey Dalby, Myles Martinez, Jay Overton, Zen Phisto, Deborah Basham-Burns, Meaghan Setterbo after there performance of, And Then There Were Some, a Murder Mystery show written/directed by Emily Fitzgerald. A lot of heart and dedication is put into a theater like the Overtime and it was definitely on display last night during my viewing. Thank you to everyone that is a part of the Overtime Theater for keeping true art alive I had a wonderful time and Ill definitely do my part to share your venue and shows with the public. Keep up the amazing work, a fan, CJ Goodwyn.

The venue was quite small and probably was not originally built to be theater, but it gives an intimacy to the performance as you are very close to the play. The play was great, very funny. Excellent actors and actresses who really love their art. I would recommend anyone who likes adult comedies to attend a show, it is worth it.
