I moved here temporarily. I love the views and the location. I also LOVE that it is a VERY diverse neighborhood. You meet all kinds of people from around the world. So many languages, backgrounds, careers, and activities. It s unlike any other neighborhood in Austin. Truly.. one of a kind.

Beautiful views of the hill country. It s worth it if you can get a house with a view. HOA regularly holds events with events such as petting zoos, rides and great food which the kids enjoy. Costco is just minutes away.

I lived here for two years now and I built with Taylor Morrison. They were very detail oriented and were very easy to work with. Upon moving here I find the neighbors very friendly and we have become friends. The activities and amenities are amazing and I love the view. There are a lot of events when neighbors can get together and know each other. We have a activities Director. We even have our own farmers market on Wednesdays and a lot of food trucks come into our amenity center. We live in a little town within Leander and we love it.

This is a fancy little development over by Cedar Park. Nice rolling hills with lots of different model homes and neighborhoods to see. But buyers beware... **The only problem is a lack of supply of houses, there s been so much demand in the Austin area for housing and apartments that it s hard to find a house out here anymore. All the houses on Realtor.com and Zillow.com are either small and pricey or pending. It s been a total joke looking at the model homes and having them be so cheap but then there s a waitlist they don t tell you about that has 300+ people and growing. For a silent auction are you kidding me???

The views here are spectacular. Some affordable houses starting from the 400s and some stellar cribs at up over a million dollars lying the beautiful streets. The ammenity center here is second to none in the Austin area. I sell a lot of real estate each year and this place is one of my favorites to visit.

Wow! Wed visited the development about 18 months ago when beginning a search for Drees homes in the area. Weve since built with Drees and live in a different area. We had friends in town looking, so we dropped by. They loved how well they were treated at the visitors center and in the models. Tons of information and no pressure. If you are looking for a large development with higher end homes in the Balcones area, definitely check them out.

I am not a proponent of big development like Travisso, but for my own reasons. Cedar trees have a huge root system that prevents flooding??? Please elaborate and provide evidence of this. It is my experience that Cedar trees (Mountain Juniper) cause erosion due to the fact that the acidity of their needles kills all ground cover beneath their canopy... They also have very shallow root systems and therefor cheat other beneficial trees, like live oaks of water. I have owned 4.5 acres near Travisso for over 20 years and have removed almost all Mountain Junipers. Some of the existing live oaks have doubled in size in that time. My property has benefited greatly by the removal of mountain junipers. I had erosion problems and there was no grass present 20 years ago, and now I have grass almost everywhere. I also have many more shaded areas. In addition, the junipers are a fire hazard. A grass fire will set a whole forest of junipers on fire. They are a tinderbox waiting for a match. I have seen them literally explode when fore was near, with no visible flames even physically touching. They spontaneously combusted!

Community is not well planned out. One way in and one way out. Not to mention poor landscaping and trash cans in plain view outside residents homes. Most of the Taylor Morrison homes the stucco is fading looks awful. Not what you expect in a high end community.

A travissty for the Texas Hill Country, Travisso is raping the beauty of the hill country, razing trees daily for $$$$$$$$. It sickens people who moved here for the beauty of the trees and lakes. Now its rooftops and more rooftops...There are thousands of empty lovely homes on the market already to be bought , many with lake views. Cedar trees have a huge root system that prevents flooding. These thousands of new homes being built out in the Cedar Park, Jonestown, Lago area are increasing the traffic beyond belief. Please be environmentally accountable Travisso. Please. Everyone out in the Hill Country area disdains what youre doing to the beauty of the lake area. Please stop and take a look Please.
