My doctor(Higginbotham) is always listening to me and prescribed what she thinks will help. Several times she has prescribed medication that has helped me and I believe has saved my life. Her assistant is always nice, helpful. The staff is very nice and helpful. I have recommended to several people.

Made an appt for a sick visit and when I arrived to my appt 15 minutes EARLY, I was told that they tried to call me at 9:43am(30 minutes before my appt) and left a message. I have no phone calls from them or a VM. I was told that they couldn t see me because I would be a new patient and she couldn t see me bc she didn t have enough time. Shouldn t that have been determined BEFORE I arrived. They want to charge you if you are late, but they just wasted my time. Should send them a bill for my wasted hour of time. Who knows if she is a good Dr., but their staff is lacking.

I had probable listeria from Boars Head lunch meats. After 2 weeks of GI distress I contacted the office for a telemedicine. The prescription was so HUGE I could only take 875mg for two days. The antibiotics made me much worse. Terrible headache and stomach upset. Im toughing it out now. Im doing better on twice daily probiotics like Yakult and Kefir, Metamucil and a banana a day. Those antibiotics were horrible.....

Hi, I would have given 0 rating if possible. I went for my lab tests with an appointment scheduled prior. My appointment was at 11:00 am, I was on time. They informed me it would take some wait time. So I kept waiting for 30 minutes and went to the front desk to ask for updates. They said there are 5 people ahead of me. I kept waiting for another 30 minutes. And 8 people went ahead of me. After 1 hr wait, I asked them for an update, they said 2 more people ahead of me. This time I saw 4 people went inside ahead of me. After waiting for 1 hr 50 minutes, I asked the front desk person to check the waitlist. This time she said there are 3 people ahead of me and simply asked me to reschedule. I came back with no tests done after sitting there for 2 hours. They just wasted my 2hrs time (I m a working woman who came in the middle of the workday with loss of pay to get my lab tests done). I would never recommend or go back to this place at any cost. Worst service!!

I had been going to EMD s in Cedar Park since I was a kid and was no longer happy with any of the clinicians (except Dr. Bog but he s always booked out). I took a chance and scheduled a wellness here with LeQuire but I got a call a few days prior to my appointment that she would be leaving which I appreciated and I ended up scheduling with and seeing Dr. Egelsee a few days later and glad I did. I felt like he listened to all my concerns and his bedside manners are great. -1 star because my wait was a little long but the front desk girls were nice and easy to talk to. I will be returning.

My rating is not to any physician here, it is to the two receptionists. As mentioned in other previous bad reviews, they are very rude and unwelcoming. I called them and informed 45mins ahead of time about 10mins delay to scheduled appointment. They said, they have 15mins grace time. When I reached the office, the lady denied my appointment and said your appointment has come and gone . I requested to see if there is any way to accommodate me today as I am not feeling well, she was not even ready to listen. Being in health care profession, the least one could have is sympathy and kindness. If they continue to have these receptionists, I am sure they will lose lot many patients. Please do something before it gets too late.

I have been coming to see Terri since I was a small child. I love her she is amazing. She takes great care of me and tend to all your needs. Unfortunately I will have to leave my long time doctor because of the front desk staff in the establishment. Every time I have walked in there the ladies have been VERY rude. I m not usually one to complain or write a review but it s saddens me how rude these ladies are. They are disrespectful, they disregard clients etc. I ve personally sat in the waiting room and heard the way these ladies talk to the patients My last apt they tried to turn me away and tell me to go see another doctor because i couldn t afford it . Completely blew my mind when she told me why would you spend $260 when you could go get it for free somewhere else. First of all it s none of their business and should not be doing that. I m 27 years old and now have to find a new doctor. It s very unfortunate because I gained a personal connection with her. The staff is literally running the doctors patients away. :( i unfortunately don t have the 2 ladies names. But they are ALWAYS at the front desk.

I ve made 3 new patient appointments. Each appointment was cancelled the week of the appointment, and I was told I would have to make another appointment 2-3 weeks out. I ve been scheduling appointments since February! Definitely not family first healthcare!

Everyone I have encountered at Family First Healthcare Leander has been very pleasant to work with. From the scheduling team, to the folks at the front desk, and all the doctors and nurses. Dr Egelsee is a great doctor that keeps the conversation at the right level. I would not hesitate to recommend he or the practice (I have seen other doctors there) if you need it.
