Very good Indian food and serving sizes are plentiful. They also have boba tea as well! The owner was very nice and even offered us a free sample of Somosa which was super nice of him. Outdoor patio was nice. We will definitely go back if we have a craving for Indian again.

Wow this place is Expensive for the little you get per entre. You pay 20 for some and don t even get rice and just tiny pieces of bread. Taste is OK but typical curry, it s not a real restaurant more like fast casual place. Got that irritatingly smug trendy vibe going on.

We ordered online around 4:50 on a Friday night. Then we received the order confirmation with the estimated time of 20 minutes. However, when we arrived for pickup around 5:15, not only was the food not ready, but there was no trace of our order. Communication was seriously lacking. At 5:50 the food was finally ready. It took an hour for food to be ready when it should have been ready in 20 minutes. The food itself was quite spicy but tasty. However the meat was all on the bone which was very frustrating.

Must visit this place again. they got Boba too, will try in my next visit and Famous Mango Lassi too. I also Had Andhra Tawa Chicken roast and Mughal Biryani. Amazing taste, just the right spice needed.

This place is horrible and would not recommended at all. We had a Biryani and Appetizer in our visit. Appetizer served was really bad and very small portion which I haven t seen such in any of the Indian restaurants here, It sounded more like roadside place as dishes been served in snack bowl like chats. Biryani was very average. For the cost they charge, Dining using paper plates and plastic cutlery, with which definitely would not be a fine dine restaurant they been claiming for. We felt that everything is below average.

Caution: Not at all authentic and such a poor quality standards. Please don t dare to try any here as the food tastes horrible completely, all the the dishes are made inconsistent every time we visit and esp the meat is cheap quality and undercooked where we get the raw meat taste and also the flavors are not indulged well in any of the dishes we tried like Biryani, starter and curries. We gave closed to 5 visits like, Mon/Tue biryani bogo, Wednesday Chinese combo, Thursday dosa night and weekend brunch., esp live dosa it s too worst, the dosa s are not cooked properly, additional items served on counter are disaster you would wonder what receipie it s and have to do a research to identify them. Utmost the chef making dosa s completely unprofessional, keep smoking, doesn t listen to your requests and the ghee used for dosa is extremely bad and the masala dosa they ask you to fill it in dosa by yourself that s not how it s has to be made. Plate provided too serve food is the at most crazy one makes you discomfort and not to have more. You can t find such a badly prepared Biryani in town. Instead of throwing out lot of offers to attract customers it s better they have to concentrate on the quality to gain customer base, now they have increased the pricing of most of these listed. Never going to visit this place again and wouldn t recommend to any too. Update: Based on owners reply, This is not 1 or 2 negative reviews and here it doesn t need a bot or competitor to spoil your business. It s who you can do it to yourself which shows how you have taken a review or feedbacks provided. Every time during our visit we have highlighted the issues and nevertheless it was addressed anytime immediately nor in next visits. Hope u read that clearly what s the feedback been provided Customers here visiting your place is not to test or examine your service or skills ., not at the risk of their own health. We hope to receive a quality food and service for what s been paid, when that s been missed even after multiple feedbacks provided that s something needs to be addressed seriously. Rather debating here and claiming yours as best place even after these many issues been shared by multiple people here, It s better you can pay attention to all those many feedbacks provided which is very much in detail, there is nothing here to cover up for you or need of catering any specific needs as the issues here highlighted very common ones which you would have heard already and might here down the line. My review should not be affect big any of your customers as you are being top rated by them already. The reviews and these platforms are not just to express a personal opinion, it s a consolidation of how the particular place is doing so the other fellow people can be aware of things before giving try and so they don t face a similar issues. If that was a concern then you shouldn t be here tagging this place in public forum and expecting reviews at all either being positive or negative. Good luck for your 4.1 rated restaurant to grow much more with only positive reviews .

Visited twice in 4 days while traveling to Marble Falls and back. Excellent food, clean and tempting environment, great taste and above all, excellent service by Ravi (owner) and Koteshwar (manager). Very pleased to meet them and know them. They definitely know how to take care of their demanding customers and satisfy their taste buds. Highly recommend them. I will definitely visit them again when traveling thru their vicinity. Vegetarian options: Many veg dishes with a good.mix of North and South Indian cuisines, with very authentic taste and palatable preparations.

Drove all the way from my place at West Parmer Ln to this restaurant today to try the 12.99 breakfast buffet. I was accompanied by a colleague of mine and his wife. We were interested to try the live dosa. However, I was told that they serve that only on a Thursday every week from 6 pm to 9 pm. Anyway, wasn t a deal breaker for us and we ordered the breakfast buffet. Tbh, it was really good. Menu : Idli, Dosa, Pongal, Upma, peanut chutney, tomato chutney, aloo curry, Sambhar, and Poori/ Puri. Oh and my favorite was the Vada. I believe it was made from a batter that had shallots/ pearl onions and cilantro and that really elevated the taste. (Reminded me of my home city, Bangalore) We also got ourselves some Irani chai and the staff were quite diligent in reducing the wait time on the preparation of the chai. A really good experience, well worth the 40 mile drive to and from my abode. Oh, there are chairs and tables arranged outside the restaurant with a nice natural tree shade for people who fancy a meal outside. Most importantly, the staff were friendly and had a smile. One small feedback though: It will surely help if you separate the non veg from the vegetarian platter when serving the breakfast buffet. The labels on the containers are not visible sometimes and I almost ended up having the wrong dish on my plate today because of that. (3 star on the service category due to this reason) Overall, I surely recommend this place.

Update 6/28/24: Yes!! They did it! Significantly better experience and food was great. Nice clean floors and tables too. Glad I gave it another chance. Old review: Soooooo dirty inside. I didnt even dine in but I went to pick up my food and since it wasnt ready I waited inside and got to see all the trash on the floor and tables. Flies all over. Front desk was being run by two gentlemen and neither were doing a good job. My food came out at some point and was just sitting next to them for a while before they bothered to check it. Food was really good tho. Chicken Tikka masala. Not good enough to save them but just good enough that I was content. Will consider coming back in the future to check in but for now very disappointing. :/

Coming all the way from India and residing in a completely different country - is an adventurous journey to enjoy! You can taste their food, enjoy their festivities, adapting their lifestyle . but at the end of the day, when you are at your home, you will crave for the taste of your roots! Here s an Indian restaurant alert, which serves a traditional touch of Indian-hood! When I say that, it means it has that touch of authenticity and I loved all the dishes we tried! Curry fusion needs a round of applause for maintaining the quality of food we crave for! They do have neat indoor sitting arrangements! On top of that, they have spacious outdoor sitting arrangements as well! The surroundings are not congested and you can easily enjoy your food with a lot of space! Another amazing thing is - they have a BYOB facility, which is rare! You can bring your own beer and enjoy the starters and natural breeze! We were really hungry that day! So we tried their appetizers Gun chicken with lachha paratha, stuffed mirchi bhajji and Andhra Tawa roast! As main course, we tried veg navaratna korma with naan which was delicious and we had their special chicken biryani as well! I can blindly rely on their food quality! I have literally seen the staffs trying to provide their best! You should definitely give a try! : 10824 E Crystal Falls Pkwy, Leander, TX 78641 Also, if you want to order online, they are available on @doordash , @ubereats and @grubhub Please note : They have different time schedules to take orders : Monday - Sunday : 10:00 am - 3:00 pm & 5:00pm - 10pm

The small restaurant is a low frills affair offering a wide range of options. The North Indian entrees were decent, though a bit fatty. Maybe this is happening everywhere, with shrinkflation, but the price and quantity didn t correlate. The chapatis are fresh, soft and well made. Not many restaurants in Austin can make a decent chapati. Expect the naans and rotis to be thin and order accordingly. It was good but some people prefer chewy naan. Idli and dosa however missed the mark. Like many Indian restaurants in Austin , we weren t happy with chutney, sambar, idli or dosa. Overall it s a good place for quick bite.

EDIT: Have had no response from owner. Must not care too much. Too bad as it will only hurt their business. Ordered 2 Chicken Tikka Masalas, butter Naan and Mango Lassis for pickup. Food was ready on time. However, no one greeted me and said Hi or Welcome. I had to ask for the Lassis. The lady put the stickers over the hole in the lid. She had what appeared to be grease on her fingers. A little offputting. No smile, no thanks for coming in or have a nice day or enjoy. Got home and unwrapped the Naan. The top order was in about 8 shredded up pieces like it was stuck and they scraped it off tandoori and threw it in anyways. On top of that, about half way through my wife discovered a HAIR! Now THAT was off-putting. Now, for the food. Chicken Tikka Masala was pretty good, nice and tender and savory sauce. Portions were adequate. Naan tasted fine. The hair was the issue. The Mango Lassi was quite tart with not enough sweetness or flavor. Portion was a little small for $5. I really want new restaurants to succeed. It is a tough business. But the number one thing is to treat people like you care that they just spent money in your business. If the owner reads this please make sure you employ customer service that acknowledges and is friendly towards those that make your business possible. And please make sure your food is presented properly. Especially ensure that no hair gets into it. You wont last long if you cannot do that. I may or may not give this place a try again.

Poor maintenance and poor customer service We went for the buffet around 1:45pm by the time we went there half of the items were empty or ready to refill but no one from the staff is checking on it and even the restaurant is not busy at that time.customers are going at the front desk and asking the staff to refill the items in the buffet , we personally asked 3-4 times to refill which they didn t do even after waiting for 45 mins .We hardly got a chance to taste 6-7 dishes in their buffet . Rajugari pulov and irani chai is good Expect that we felt that everything is below average . Too much food color in the appetizers and deserts

Me and my friends had a great time and delicious food for a price that is way less than any other place. From entering in, till you leave, you will have some of the best customer service. If there is one thing that over weighs the taste of their food is their service. This place reminds of those times you spent with your friends back in your country and whoever havent had that experience before..its a place you relax, talk and be super casual n have fun. Totally recommend this place. Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids here and show them how a Indian bakery set-up looks and feels.

The food is tasty, but little amount for the price. Must put a clear note regarding the spice level, what I tried was extremely spicy hot to be able to finish what I ordered.

Edit- I m updating my review. After visiting multiple times I can confirm that they lack consistency in food. I always order ghee roast dosa but it s always changing shape , size and thickness. Sometimes it hits the mark and sometimes I can see how raw the batter is. Far from crispy. My advise would be to please serve dishes the way they should be made. Curry Fusion is a little taste of India right here! Their dosa and idli are like a warm hug from home, and the restaurant is surprisingly spacious. Plus, no overwhelming curry smell! Quick service during lunch is a bonus. While the chicken biryani didnt steal my heart, that rice and biryani masala mix is pure yum. For a speedy South Indian fix, this place is a must-try!

Food is not really that great, especially it is not tasty at all. They need to change their strategy to be able to attract customers. I tried chicken biryani and the chicken tastes bad and I can guarantee that it is not fresh. I then went for the weekend breakfast buffet, there are a good number of items that are hot but not at all tasty. I don t feel like I m eating some food but eating something which is a very weird feeling. Not sure what they re preparing their food from.

Tried two times, it was a disaster both the times. First was on the opening day , it didn t go well. So thought it could be because it s new , so we gave it a one more try after many months. It s still horrible. I am just surprised how the restaurant Chef doesn t know the difference between mysore bajji and punugulu. We ordered punugulu, they made it with mysore bajji dough( all purpose floor, Maida), it s just mini mysore bajji. Restaurant should have known that some people are sensitive/allergic to certain foods with dietary restrictions. 2 things here, 1. Either restaurant is fooling the customers thinking they don t realize or 2. If this is a genuine mistake then they need to learn and know the difference between recipes. If you don t have the batter or required ingredients , please let the customer know. They can choose something else or go find some other place.

I have been in Austin since 2015 and been looking for a restaurant which has specific South Indian Menu as well other menu items in a good ambience. I am glad Curry & Fusion is now available meeting with such requirements. Jackfruit Pulao is definitely a must try item , Loved this one . My family has tried Idly, Vada, Dosa and Puri , all of them have tasted excellent . This restaurant is definitely going to be our default option going forward.

I don t think this business will last long if they continue to do the business like this, on my first visit I have ordered Paneer biryani , uttpam and somsa they were worst in taste . Biryani was extremely spicy. It seems they think that only red chilly can give taste , we couldn t able to eat we had to throw.second their price is so high as compare to other who are serving best food in less price. And the same thing we were expecting at least uttapam should be mild but again it is so spicy . I will never order food again and will never recommend any of my family and friends .

Amazing flavors, but definitely not worth the price for the tiny bowl of food to go. I paid almost $14 for roti with curry chicken and added mutton curry which I didnt get and I only had 2 tiny pics of chicken in my curry juice. The flavors are there, but chicken is cheap so I didnt understand why I got the baby bowl with 2pcs that were mostly only bone for that price. I wouldve gotten more if I just ordered an appetizers. I definitely wont be returning to such place that tried to make an excuse as to why I got a bowl for a 2yr old for as much as I paid for it. If I were Indian, Im sure I wouldve gotten a portion that matched the price

The only great thing we have experienced here was the ambience. Food was a definite 1 star. The roti (bread) was rotten and the owner said the flour got mixed up, not sure what!! Mirchi bajji (supposed to be the days special) was stale and reheated. Biryani was 2 out of 10. Ghee roast dosa was a saver. Would definitely not recommend unless something majorly changes in the kitchen.

I visited Curry Fusion at 7:45 pm and was keen to try their Jackfruit Biryani. Despite being informed by the person at the register to return in an hour due to their busy schedule, I was more than willing to wait. Imagine my disappointment when I returned at 9 pm, only to be told by another staff member that they had sold out of the very dish I had ordered. What was even more perplexing was the alternative offered: a Paneer Biryani made with the rice of a Chicken Biryani. Such an oversight not only questions the restaurants commitment to fulfilling orders but also poses potential concerns for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. Its imperative for a business to honor their commitments to their customers. Hope Curry Fusion takes this feedback seriously and ensures a more streamlined service in the future. Very disappointed!!

Fantastic Biryani, mango lassi and Double ka meetha. The wait time was longer than expected. The Dosa wasnt great but they were kind enough to address the concern proactively. The staff is constantly looking seeking feedback to improve. A great addition to local Leander business. The seating is comfortable, I look forward visiting soon.

We have tried most restaurants in Austin , this restaurant is a place most needed for leander. Their jackfruit biryani , chicken 65 and pepper chicken are awesome. Being from tamilnadu , I have been on a hunt for atleast a decent thalapakkati mutton biryani and always been disappointed until now. Their thalapakatti served only on weekend is so awesome and closest the one I have had back home. A must try place.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant recently, and I must say that the experience left a lasting impression on me. The star of the show was undoubtedly the food every dish we ordered was nothing short of excellent. From the first bite to the last, our taste buds were treated to a delightful symphony of flavors that showcased the culinary mastery of the chefs. One of the standout features of this restaurant is its ambiance. Tucked away from the bustling and noisy streets, the location provides a serene and pleasant setting that greatly enhances the overall dining experience. The carefully curated atmosphere adds a touch of elegance and relaxation to the meal, making it a perfect escape from the outside chaos. While the food and ambiance are undeniably commendable, I couldnt help but notice a slight limitation in the menu offerings. Although the dishes we chose were exceptional, having a more extensive menu would undoubtedly elevate the dining experience even further. Offering a broader range of options would allow customers to explore different flavors and cater to various preferences. Among the culinary highlights of the evening were the Chilli Bajji and the Goat Thalapakattu Biryani. The Chilli Bajji was a delightful and flavorsome appetizer that set the tone for the rest of the meal. However, the true star of the evening was the Goat Thalapakattu Biryani. This dish stood out not only due to its aromatic and perfectly cooked rice but also because of its unique and delectable blend of spices. In comparison to other traditional biryanis I have had the pleasure of trying, this one truly stood in a league of its own. To add to the experience, the timing of our visit allowed us to enjoy the company of friends in the outdoor seating area. The pleasant evening weather coupled with the inviting ambiance created a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, making our time there even more memorable. In conclusion, my visit to this restaurant was a delightful journey through flavors and aesthetics. The exceptional food, calming ambiance, and friendly outdoor setting combined to create an experience that I wont soon forget. With a broader menu offering, this place could easily become a culinary haven that caters to a wider range of tastes. I look forward to returning to this restaurant in the near future. Each dish was packed with authentic flavors that delighted our palates and left us feeling more than satisfied. Our kids were equally impressed by the quality of food and the overall dining experience. This speaks volumes about the family-friendly atmosphere the restaurant fosters. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant for anyone looking for a great meal in a unique and welcoming environment.
