DISGUSTING. NOT GOING BACK. I went in today for my usual two tacos and coffee like I always did a few times a week. There was a young woman at the counter placing an order while holding a dog with one arm against her chest and holding her phone with the other hand. Her other hand was also touching the dog and the keypad for making payment. They were standing four feet from the espresso machine and about 6-8 feet from the kitchen. The dogs rear end is facing the kitchen and his feet are practically touching the counter where food and drinks are served. I told the woman that this is a food establishment and that dogs are not allowed inside per the large sign at the entrance. I asked her to be respectful of other customers in the coffee shop. She dismissively said she needed to place an order and then turned around and ignored me. No apology, no urgency to remove the dog, nothing. After she left, I asked the staff person if they ever tell customers to take out their dogs. She said they do. Well then why take her order? Ask her to remove her dog from the shop and come back. They simply dont care about the health and comfort of their customers. They just want to take their money. Not from me anymore. I was disgusted, so I said never mind and walked out of the store. Knowing how they allow animals so close to drinks and food, I am never going back there.

We really like this place (and its sister location on Parmer). We got the queso (good, but not great) tacos (the avocado taco is probably the best taco Ive had in Austin. Pretty impressive for a place thats not actually a Mexican restaurant), a beer (very good), and a cold brew (also very good). Great atmosphere. And the people who work here are very friendly. Highly recommend!

New Red Horn brewery location that we fell in love with ! We are regulars at the Parmer lane Red Horn and wanted to do a detour to this new location in Leander . Man we were surprised how good this one is! They have the same wonderful beer and coffee, but also amazing tacos and sides that the other location does not have ! The tacos were great and the beer was good as always . The Prosecco Rita was refreshing . They have WiFi internet and good live music on some days ! Will start going here regularly for the good food, service and ambiance .

When I called back they told me you gave 20% tip which I didn t, the girl who made the transaction just pressed 20% without me even seeing that tablet or signing anything. I am all for helping the service business but giving yourself a tip without the customer agreeing to it is not the best strategy to make business.

Sorry to say (because I like the beer); the service was bad! I was at the bar for 3-5 minutes (not a long time) and the lady behind the bar was talking to a customer on the other side; no biggie. Then she walked past me to the other end and started talking to 2 other staff members. NO ONE EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED ME! So I Left. Probably won t return (sorry Chad, KC & John), but (if it helps) I m posting this while sitting at the original Red Horn, enjoying a flight & pint!

Really clean, inviting space with a decent amount of seating room (including a little bit of outdoor seating). Pretty good beers all around from the IPAs to the lagers and even the barrel aged stouts are easy to take in compared to other breweries! The only food of theirs I tried was the chips and guac, but the chips are fresh and guac is solid.

Great selection of beer for all tastes. Personally, I prefer lighter beers and Red Horn had several I enjoyed. A Festbeir, Helles, and a Mexican lager. My friends like IPAs and had several options. They also have ciders for the non beer drinkers. Food was also very good. Atmosphere was good. It was moderately busy for a Thursday night but we were still able to have a conversation at our table. Employees were attentive and friendly.

I m conflicted because they make one of the best IPAs I ve ever tasted: Aloha, Ya ll. On the flip side, the food was terrible and customer service left something to be desired. The beef was too fatty to chew. The queso was cold and bland. They replaced the bland cold queso with more bland cold queso when it was brought to their attention. So, so sad to see such potential squandered.

This review is just about the coffee/tea. I got a matcha latte and it did not have a strong matcha flavor at all it mostly tasted like milk. Their americano is also not great, and took more than 10 minutes to come out. I am not a fan of the required 20% tip or higher either. I am more than willing to tip but 20% seems a bit high for a requirement. The staff was extremely nice though and good service. The place also has a very fun atmosphere with games and cards to play so that was fun.

Another brewery with a great beer selection, with just ok food and staff. There are so many choices (this is a more limited selection than the other location). It s sad the staff was not helpful at all with a beer choice. The other location staff is amazing and I walked out with beer to go from their suggestions. We did grab lunch on a Saturday. The nachos flavor was good, but the chicken was rewarmed probably from the day before. It was dry and tasteless. At least the beer is good.

Strange place to find a neighborhood bar & eatery - in the middle of an actual Neighborhood! However, no complaints on the food quality or the craft beer choices (they have plenty). We went on a Friday so it was relatively busy, but not too crowded. The only thing preventing a 5-star rating was that flatware didnt come with any of the food (8 different items) that we ordered. So we had to wait in the beer line to ask for forks, allowing our food to get a little cool. We noticed a few other tables doing the same thing. Bringing flatware with the food or having it easily accessible without customers having to wait in line would be our only improvement recommendation. Waitstaff, atmosphere and everything else was great! Definitely a fun place. And like Arnold said, Well be Back!

Been here a couple times for lunch and breakfast. Nice atmosphere with an open floor plan. Al pastor tacos are delicious, breakfast croissant sandwich is also very good for the price, as well as the breakfast tacos. Unfortunately sometimes theyre hit or miss on the consistency. I ordered 4 breakfast sandwiches and 2 tacos for the family today. I arrived 5m after pick up time and as I was given my order. When I checked the bag, only half the food was there. Never said why or sorry but I ended up having to wait almost 15m for them to make the other 2 sandwiches. I drive home, 3 of the sandwiches had the wrong cheese, and I got 2 completely different tacos then what I ordered. The beer and food are good, just wish they could be more consistent.

The birria tacos were great but the loaded nachos were slow coming out and the carne asada on top was tough and chewy. Plus it was probably sitting for a while since wasn t very warm. In addition don t bother to order the michelada since it may take forever if they dont have the mix ready. That said I would probably return just for the beer and tacos.

I liked coming here to eat breakfast and drink coffee, (weve been going for a few months doing this) but had a pretty unsavory experience with the manager(?) Who told us we should eat outside since they have their own food. But they dont have vegan food (just a few snack items), so to me it was unaccommodating. I voiced this, and wasnt taken seriously. Its not that hard to diversify a menu, and I refuse to order food here when I have only The Option to pick from (which is hummus, and not even breakfast), while so many other restaurants next door have an entire vegan menu. Its extremely patronizing. Disappointing, because I did like their coffee.

We explained that he is a service dog and we have his papers but they said that they didn t care to see them as he doesn t have a vest. My friend has the documentation with her at all times for this exact reason. They then proceeded to tell me that it s a health violation and we need to leave immediately. They were extremely rude and argumentative. This is an absolute violation and they need to be educated.

Staff is friendly, great atmosphere, and the coffee is delicious. Overall a place worth visiting and going back to. I want the place to do well and because of that I hope the food gets better. It lacks flavor (except for the green salsa!) and is usually cold before it hits the table. I also hope they make salt and pepper easier to get to.

Staff was rude. They only serve lighter roasts, an understandable preference I dont share it but I get it. I knew it coming in and made no complaint. I tried to compensate by ordering a mocha, but it was oversweet and undrinkable. I havent had the beer at this location, but Im sure its every bit as great as youd expect from Redhorn. I mostly just didnt like feeling unwelcome.

We came for breakfast. It s a nice and spacious place. They brew coffee and beer. We ordered breakfast tacos, chilaquiles, bowl and croissant. Tacos is good, chilaquiles are very spice, croissant is good and bowl is ok. The latter and the hot chocolate came cold. The coffee was hot is good.

If you have not yet had a trail runner beer; a delightful a blonde ale, then I recommend that you head on down. They have more than a dozen great beers on tap; and I love how they make on premise so many great beers. The tacos are really good too.

Best of the Red Horn locations in the area! Four stars though because this location is even louder inside than the other in Cedar Park. Easy fix - add some acoustic materials on the upper walls, to absorb noise and make for a more enjoyable experience. Great coffee, great food and especially great service. A long-awaited addition to the Leander scene.

Let me start with the beer review the beers and coffee here are amazing and get 5 stars. Now the food, I have never had the breakfast so I will skip that. The lunch and dinner food is good, not great. Would love improved queso, and would be awesome is they had salad and hamburger options. There is a soft shell crab Sandwhich which cost &17, I have ordered it twice. The crab is great but the portion of crab meat is so small half tour sandwich is bread. For $17 I expected more and the French Fries are bland and lame. I will go back for beer and coffee

Good location, inside has a clean but slightly sterile look (I attribute that to its relative newness and think it will get a more comfortable worn in look in the very near future). Way too many IPAs for my tastes-I want to say it was more than 5 of the 14 open taps, but if youre into IPAs thats a huge plus. The Amber is very good but has a very distinctive and patterned flavor with their Coffee Porter. Excellent place to grab a pint during practice or in between games of a hockey tournament.

Nice. Not just a clone of the other pub, this one seems brighter, more open, roomier. Same great beers, of course, with a very nice spectrum of styles. Oh and they have coffee, I guess. (Lol, Im an after-work customer)
