The best in the business. Understand they have rules with home warranties so if you don t maintain your unit (clean it and change filters) it can be denied. They helped me get my HVAC back on track two or three times now. Travis even came out on a Saturday for me. They got my replacement done in 3 days. They are honest, dependable, and kind. They have great techs.. and ask for Travis. They are the ones I trust with my HVAC needs. Thank you Elite AC & Heat and Travis !!!!

Between this company and my home warranty they could not get my AC servicing right. We have literally gone back and forth for a week with no AC in this Tx weather. Ive never heard of a reputable company misquoting their price and not making good on their quote. Its the poor customer service for me.

I had an air conditioner that was not cooling. It s 103 degrees outside and I needed immediate attention. I was referred to Elite AC and contacted them this morning (Thursday 8/3/23). The receptionist was friendly and scheduled my appointment between 12:00 and 5:00pm. The technician called prior to arrival (3:15pm) and addressed the problem immediately. I was thankful he had parts with him. Travis was the technician and very professional and prompt. I would refer Elite based on my first experience.

7/12/23 - Second experience with Elite A/C and it was just a great as in 2021. They came out the day after being assigned by our Home Warranty. Travis, the technician, was professional and thoroughly explained everything WITHOUT trying to sell us a new unit. He found a tiny freon leak, fixed it and replaced the missing freon at no extra charge. He also provided some good do-it-yourself suggestions for keeping the humidity down. Excellent service overall and highly recommended.

Excellent service. After waiting 2 days (in the heat) for the first company to at least call to schedule a visit to look at our a/c unit, the warranty company provided us with Elite A/C. They were so quick to respond and come out to fix our issue. Chris was very friendly and helpful on the phone. The technician, Dairin, was excellent as well. Thank you helping us keep our cool.

I called at 3pm on Thursday and they were out at 8am the next day, submitted the case to the home warranty company by 1, the home warranty company called me at 2pm, Elite called me on Monday morning to schedule for Tuesday at 7am! Amazing service! Elite really stepped up and did what they had to get me taken care of.

My AC stopped cooling on 4/24/2022 at night. Put in service request about 4 am received call about 6:45 am. Travis came out found the problem within 5 minutes. Pulled the run capacitor and replaced it. Nice and cool now. I would highly recommend this company.

Pros and cons. Travis is a good person and a solid A/C tech. Unfortunately the owner - his father - is not interested in working to truly diagnose and repair difficult problems with A/Cs. I have a home warranty - by design - they are the worst ... but companies like Elite sign up for this. Warranty companies band-aid issues rather than assertively addressing them. I have an intermittent problem. Elite insisted that I have my coils cleaned before they would even return to further diagnose my issue. This was on a Saturday and my AC was completely out. They quoted me $300 to clean the coils in both of my systems. I had this done with a different company for less on Sunday. The day they were coming out, Monday - I was called to confirm the time. I told the office manager what was going on and she logically instructed me to turn the system OFF. When they came, and turned the system back on...by the way it was 79 degrees in my master bedroom at this time -- the unit kicked on and slowly brought the temp down. Again, an intermittent issue. This morning, system is not cooling again. I call back and they say they will schedule me for 8 to noon tomorrow. Mind you, I have already spent 12 to 5 yesterday waiting for them with no result because the system appeared to be working when they came out. After this call, the owner called me...this call didnt go well because he refused to believe that his son told me there was obviously a major problem with my AC, but he couldnt fix it unless it was actively failing when he was there...again...their office told me to turn the system off before they came and it is an intermittent problem that seems to occur when the system gets hot. After going through all of this, they have now refused to come back out at all because Im too difficult to deal with. Yes..I am difficult. Im frustrated and HOT. Its July in Houston Texas. At any rate, use at your own risk of extreme frustration and being refused service for being difficult - in other words, they dont stand to make enough money for it to be worth their time -- especially if you are smart enough to have any sense about what is actually going on with your system, are a woman, and/or have a home warranty. Beware.

Our Tech, Travis, came out and replaced the blower motor in the attic. Travis really knows A/C systems and he did an excellent job fixing our system. I would recommend Travis and Elite in the future hands down

Extremely happy with our technician and service! Our AC went out overnight and Travis was at our house within an hour of making the 9am phone call the next morning. The lady that took my call was so sweet and helpful too and handled arranging the appointment. Travis found the issue and repaired it with all the supplies he had on hand and was just very knowledgeable, polite and professional. This was our first AC issue and I am so thankful to now have an HVAC expert to call anytime we have an issue.

SO-- I have used Elite AC and Heat for the last 10 years and they are a really great company. Tim and Travis are on my home team. When I needed to go on a business trip and something went wrong with my home AC-- they went over to fix it. When I need a small job done-- I just call Chris in the office and she sends someone over. Since they have been our AC folks for so long-- just today they came and put in a brand-spanking new system from outside units to the ductwork-- they did it all! Thank you crew for replacing my AC and bringing my 20 year up to code -- We value your service and our relationship over the years. Thanks so much

I had called Air innovations, llc at 6:18 am on a Tuesday and talked to an operator and gave her my AC issues and address and I have the 2-10 home warranty. So I am thinking at this time Air innovations will be here because they back my warrant and Elite DOES NOT. Travis did an awesome job explaining the inadequacies of my new 3 month old home, extra small HVAC unit, low insulation in the attic all the issues that come with a $247000.00 house imagine that for a moment... I was upset when I got the bill for $150.00 because the house is only 3 months old. So I decided to call the sales rep with Colina homes Steve Dyer and he told me I should of called Air innovations and they would of fixed it for free....... imagine that for a moment, so now I am trying to get a refund from my builder and air innovations for setting me up with Elite instead of Air innovations. How did I get with Elite when I called Air innovations this is a mystery as of now. Still writing dirty emails to get my refund.

When our warranty company assigned us to Elite AC & Heat, we were a little worried after looking up the reviews. However, when the technician (Travis) arrived, he was completely competent, professional, and friendly. He diagnosed our problem and had it fixed very quickly. Used for AC repair under home warranty, still had to pay 2200. Was not working less than 3 months later and have had nothing but problems since. They will not stand behind their work. We took the hit because of their rudeness and the botched job in the first place. We have no confidence in their ability to rectify the situation. That is if they were willing to rectify it, which they absolutely are not. Last thing we want to do is to dig ourselves deeper into the pit they created.

Hello There. I have dealt with Elite AC on 2 occasions through 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program. Houston is full of terrible companies, and I was afraid at first because some of the reviews Ive read but THIS COMPANY DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!! EXCELLENT SERVICE! The technician is so thorough and you can tell that he has a true love and passion for what he does. Very honest and direct and was able to solve my issues both times and also provide me with other information that I never knew about concerning ACs in general to warn me of other situations that may occur later or pros and cons of things. Would definitely recommend them and hire them again.

Tech Travis arrived at 5:38 pm. Appointment window was 12-5.(took off work)No call or anything about being late in a 5 hour window. Informed us that our coils in the attic had a leak and went into a whole spill about it being a known Lennox problem with the changing of the refrigerant protocols. Only thing he EVER spoke about was the coils in the attic for 15 mins explaining that and the headaches they have with them. Get a call from the warranty people and they say they wont cover repairs because the tech stated that the OUTSIDE UNIT, which was working fine, supposedly was dirty and had grass growing init. The outside unit with no issues is located on a concrete slab elevated above the ground. Tech never told us any of this and if he had he would know since this house was built in 2015 it has been serviced yearly. Seems devious to not speak on that to us and say something untrue that voids a warranty on a fully functioning piece of equipment. Still disconnected the working unit without disclosing that key information after telling us everything about the actual broken unit. I guess its easier to do a 30 minute service call and receive $125 and keep buttering your bread by keeping the insurance company happy with you for saying things that void warrantys so they wont pay.

The problem with my Furnace was intermittent in nature. Unfortunately I was not able to demonstrate the problem when Travis arrived on his 1st trip to my house because everything worked fine that day, but we agreed for me to take video(s) the next time the issue happened. Within days I had taken a video and was able to get him back to my house without extra charge. Elite A/C handles many home warranty claims, and in my case the issue didnt fall under the home warranty, but part was still covered under the manufacture warranty. Travis was a very capable and polite technician, he got me blowing cold in no time and returned the next day with warranty part to install. Great communication, great service, just be aware of what is covered under your home warranty, not everything is.

We recently purchased a house with an AC unit that was new in late 2015. Elite told us it uses the old R22 freon and the inside/outside unit should be replaced with the newer R410A model. I looked at the specification tags on the AC units and it says R410A. Got someone else to come out and they helped us transfer the warranty and fixed it for a few hundred dollars. Wow........really?

Tech Travis showed up with no ladder and no tools (he borrowed my ladder) and only had an invoice ready to collect fees. He lied saying he would tell the warranty company that I needed a new duct because it simply collapsed. Instead he told them someone walked on my duct. I just purchased the house this December 2017 and didnt know the condition of the duct because I am too old to climb in the attic. But why lie. I would have commissioned the company for the work had the tech been honest. If Tech Travis is dishonest you can bet the company is too. I will not do business with dishonest companies and you shouldnt either.

I had a second experience with this company today rude owner Told me to take my business somewhere else. Well guess what you rude person. . I will take my business somewhere else. I also complained to our warranty compamy and they will deal with your attitude. I cant believe you are still in business Ive never had someone talk to me that way.. you will never get my business. I too called my home warranty company as my a/c wasnt working. They told me my condenser coil froze up due to low freon from a freon leak. This repair was covered under my warranty but they tacked on an additional $850.00 in charges for so called modifications after they finished the job 2 of my a/c vents were not pumping out any air. This was a clear replacement of the condenser that should have been covered by warranty but they tacked on a bunch of extra charges.

Very unprofessional. Our home warranty company gave our job to them. As soon as they stepped out of the truck they were trying to sell me a new unit. When the technician came out, he was polite and diagnosed the problem. We ended up actually needing a new unit. Because it was warranty, they added a lot of extra charges and when I asked questions about what the charges were for, they didnt like to answer questions.

Dont use these guys. He told me it was an igniter box problem. I had a friend of the family look at it and he said it was only a ground wire issue. 15 minutes work. He said even if it was the igniter box the part couldnt be over $100.00 and 15 minutes work. He said the company was crazy for changing that price! The guy came out and charged me for a diagnostic $69.00 and would not itemize the repairs but lumped it up as a $439.00 repair. I asked him to show me the part and he refused to do it but then I told him that is part of the diagnostics I was going to pay him for. He slso said I needed a new furnice.

This owner Kris of the company said I was rude over the phone at 8 am when she woke me up for the 1/2 hr. Before they come out call so CANCELLED MY SERVICE ORDER!!!! I now have to stay in the hotel another night with my husband, son, & dog to wait for a company to with 5 stars to come out tomorrow. I dont know how these home owner warranties operate... I had a different contractor come in (Rogers HandyMan Service) and replace my Insulation a few months back and realized they tore up my duct work. By the time I figured that out we just had to accept getting screwed. I call Elite AC & Heating to come out and fix things.... Tim and his Helper came over and basically made the problem worse, charged us (my wife) $350 based off of no price model. I come to find these reviews and see others in the same boat. Tim was awesome a year ago when he actually did my AC installation for a fair price. I guess he just doesnt care anymore. Extremely disappointing!!!

I just hang up the phone with somebody, he is very rude! My A/C not working now is July in League city Texas, we have warranty, he said not cover, ok, we pay you, first visit charge $500, fix SOMETHING, not Working, call second time come, fix SOMETHING still not working charge $900, weekend Still Not working, call not answer, left message not call back, Tuesday call again, somebody answered phone very rude!! This is a horrible company that HWA Home Warranty sent out. The owners us RUDE and his son the HELPER has not one frkn clue what he is doing, he just gets bossed around by the dad like a dog. This man came to my house straight into my attic and started making a whole bunch of noises hitting and banging on things and then he comes down and says maam all that banging was me trying to open up to see the evaporator coils he said that my coils were filthy and full of mold, i had the whole system brand new for 6 months! he said he could not do anything else until i did maintenance to my coils and for him to do that it would be 300 dollars out of my pocket. He barely checked the unit outside and he said my unit was overcharged with freon and he needed to uncharged it and recharge it and he was going to have to charge me 30 dollars for each liter!! He then go on the phone with the warranty company and walked away hiding what he was telling and came back and was writing nonstop on this notes on what was wrong w my ac. I asked him to please give me a copy and give me a summary of what all is wrong and his reply was maam i already explained, you did not listen or understand is not my problem, call your warranty company and have them explain it to you at that point i was irritated, i just ok whatever, then he said are you paying check or cash i said check and he said that was unacceptable do to the wrong address on the check and i said well thats all i have and then he said just forget it ill just let the warranty company deal with you....later that day i called my uncle who works for an AC company and he and his team came out and checked it out and he said my coils were perfect not filthy or moldy and the man from home warranty didnt even open the door because it was still factory sealed. They checked my unit outside and they said there was a piece missing that wasnt allowing my unit to work well. they got the piece and placed it in and BAM my ac starts blowing cold air right then and there. They uncharged my freon and added new freon and they only charge me $80 total!!!!! They said that have heard of Elite ac/heating and that they are scam artist and to NEVER make business with them. They doubt that the guy is even certify ac tech. THIS IS A HORRIBLE BUSINESS AND I WILL TELL ANYONE AND EVERYONE ABOUT IT INCLUDING BBB!!

My neighbor called his home warrenty service and this company came out. Very rude and has a very smart mouth. Got into an argument with him over a simple question of why is the freon low. His reply was I dont know...are you a service tech?.....after a few more words exchanged....his comments included Ive been to jail and I dont have a problem going back. I strongly suggest NOT to have this company ever fix anything of yours! Also, if you have a warrenty service please ask what company is being called and their reviews.

A/C not cooling very good so we contacted our home warranty service. They sent out this vendor on 8/18/2014. He looked at the system and said the coils were dirty and needed to be cleaned and he could not put Freon in until this was done. This would be $275.00 out of our pocket. So he pulled the coil and his assistant washed it off in OUR BATHTUB. No pressure wash at all. Supposedly he put Freon in it also. Still did not work correctly. Called the home warranty company and they sent him back out on 8/22. Was tacky and rude when he arrived. Ask me what my problem was and told me that it was not cooling properly because he could not get the coil cleaned completely on the first visit. He then said it was probably the dryer. He went outside and I followed him, which did not sit well with him at all. He put his gauges on the A/C and then removed them. He then told his assistant to go get the R-22 canister. So I assumed he was putting Freon in it. He came back inside and called the home warranty company. He told them the A/C was not cooling because there was cat hair in the coils and he could not get it out. When I ask to speak to the representative he was speaking too, he told me they will call you later. When I told him that he did not pay the premiums for the home warranty insurance, he told the agent that I am going outside. The customer is belligerent. And he got in his truck and left. No paperwork indicating what he had done, nothing. My husband contacted him Friday night and ask him what he had done when he was out that day because it was still not cooling properly. He said to my husband Eff you. I am not giving you your money back and I am not coming out there again. I reported this to the home warranty company and they told me he was a VIP vendor with them. No complaints ever, which is a complete lie. Another vendor was sent out on Saturday and he did a complete check on the entire system. There were a couple of minor issues in the ductwork, which was covered but I was told by Elite that it was not. New vendor checked Freon in the unit. It was 3 lbs. low. And furthermore, we have been told by numerous friends and an independent A/C guy since that time that the only way to properly clean the coils is to pressure wash them. This Elite guy is a SCAM ARTIST. Check his references. I wish I would have. He has so many complaints with the Houston BBB that he is listed as an non-preferred vendor.
