The Border Heritage Museum was my first stop in Laredo and I am so glad it was. The team at the Heritage Foundation were incredibly friendly and helpful. I love how engaged they are with the community. If you are visiting town and want insights from locals, definitely visit here.

We tried to get in but it was all locked up. We called the number on the door and got an answer but the person who answered acted as if they couldnt hear us. This place is a waste of time and money

I wanted to share with you my recent experience visiting the Laredo Museum. The museum was truly amazing, and I had the pleasure of being guided by Lalo, who provided detailed explanations of the exhibits and artifacts. His knowledge and assistance greatly enhanced my visit. If you ever find yourself in Laredo, I highly recommend visiting this museum and reaching out to Lalo for any guidance or recommendations in the area. It was a memorable and enriching experience that I believe you would also enjoy.

It was posted as open with the lights on and the doors locked. I saw another lady also trying to get inside who said this was the second time she s tried and the doors were locked both times. We also knocked and no one came.

I attempted to bring my children in to visit this museum. The manager had decided I was not going to be allowed in due to my concerns in the park about people being vaccinated without informed consent. He was apparently watching me and locked me out of the museum. He discriminated against us because I have a medical condition that doesnt allow me to wear a mask as well. My children are under 10 and therfore cannot be required to mask. He asked me to leave or he would call the cops. Worst was my kids were there and he put us through this embarrassment for having different beliefs from him. I am disgusted and will never return. I highly recommend you do not visit this place. It was empty too. He was also filming my children. I was not belligerent. I just explained that I will not be able to mask and it is discrimination to not allow people into your business based on medical conditions. Very bad customer service.

Really a disappointing trip. Expected more. Dying little musium in a dying part of town. I was expecting a lot of Southwest history and culture in Loretto and was sad that it has turned into a dirty border town where I did not feel safe. Planned to spend the day here enjoying history. Sure not the 60s anymore. Probably more to say about my expectations than reality. Not recommended for idealistic optimists.

More of a local artist gallery. Not much to see except old Mexican movie posters and local photography.

Very nice place where I learned much more about the history of the entire American Union, they have documents of great historical value and of course this seems to me to be a very appropriate place for Latin Americans since it seemed to me that the people are very calm and are accustomed to seeing different races pass through here. Congratulations because the place is very clean.
