The hotel charges for parking. So when asked if you have a vehicle, the correct response is no . Moving forward, I now know better. At 10pm the lot is half empty, and they are still wanting to charge for parking. Unbelievable. The fridge in my room was unplugged. This would not have been noted had the parking fee been waived. I included a picture of a boot print on the elevator button, probably from another disgruntled customer being charged for parking!

The hotel in general is nice, it seems to be remodeled, I liked the breakfast, the guys were very attentive to cleaning the tables, the only bad thing was the bathroom in the room, there is no place to put your things, the tub is super uncomfortable to get out of her. It looked like a hospital bathroom, the tub was very dirty and the door was sticky, but overall it was fine. You can go shopping at the mall in 7 minutes walking, the hotel reception staff is not at all friendly, it is the first time that a hotel of this chain does not greet their guests.

Went here on a business trip thinking it will be good. Went in to get a room early upon arrival 9:30am so i can settle and do some work...rooms wasnt ready was told to come back at 12.. returned at 12 rooms still not ready states to come back at 2.... ask to do some work at the comfortable seating area staff lady stated that area is closed at 12. I should have booked at the hilton or even econo..its sad cause their slogan on the matt states we are here to make you happy..they failed me first impressions are everything and i was not impressed. Been to many hampton inn all over the country and its a first i felt like i didnt belong ... Spend your money wisely and find something better...im writing this as im still waiting for a room availability... i do not recommend going here.

It was a great location close to shopping mall, lots of different food places and was really quiet even though close to freeway. Pool and the patio area was nice. Hot tub was out of service but oh well. I had issues while here but overall it was a good hotel. The rooms were comfortable , it was clean, there were no bugs noticed, nice bath towels and they had breakfast but I think it was below par. Coffee was just water basically. I bought instant coffee packs instead. Overall I would recommend.

I was very disappointed, I stayed due to work and checked in late. The television didn t work and hotel staff was dishonest and not concerned. We didn t get breakfast as they closed kitchen early. No hot coffee. I have been an executive diamond member for a long time and this by far was the worst Hampton/Hilton experience. The hotel closed my complaint and didn t not seem too concerned with Loyalty or Hiltons customer service commitment.

I m not going to complain shot the elevators as everyone already has and it really during bother me (I always prefer the stairs). My issues with the hotel as the dismal appearance once you get past the lobby area (especially in the stairs which everyone must take now). Then the internet is really bad with connection and slow internet. I have been at some very nice Hamptons but this one isn t it. Cheap place to stay but beware it is run down and .noisy (people, traffic outside and stairwell door slamming)

Unreliable place. Two rooms were reserved and at the time of arrival to use the rooms, it turned out that they were not available they only had one available, not of those reserved only one of the ones they had left without giving a good answer or an explanation , we found ourselves in the need to look for another place. It had been reserved to avoid setbacks, but in the end at night and with all of us who were going (including babies) we had to look for another place. How ugly that they are not interested in the safety and integrity of their clients.

This hotel is terrible and needs new management. The elevators have been out of order for 9 months. They charge for parking even though it was mostly empty and the hotel is nowhere close to downtown. One of the front desk attendants was very unfriendly. The owner is very cheap. I had to request my Gold Member complimentary water and didnt even get a snack because they were still on order. Every other Hampton Inn gives them to me when I check in. There was a large spider in my bathroom. The hallway was missing carpet in sections. Do not stay here.

Absolutely the worst Hilton hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. First off, I was sent an email at 5:50am the DAY OF MY RESERVATION saying the elevator was out of commission, pretty late to get that notice. Then after a day of traveling (literally while in baggage claim) the hotel calls me and reiterated that the elevator was not working and asked if I wanted to cancel, again pretty late notice. Had that notice come two weeks or even one week in advanced, I would have been able to do something with that information. Once we arrived, the staff was fine and I even joked kinda late notice to send an email day of the reservation to which the woman behind the desk responded how did that email make you feel? I was baffled at that response and didn t even know how to reply. The rooms were gross, clearly not cleaned and/or cared for from the previous tenant (or not cleaned well). There was hair in the corners of the bathroom, the shower was gross. The sink and shower head were both crusty. The sink and shower both also didn t drain well. Pool was also out of commission for what seemed like no reason. Continental breakfast was lackluster at best. Except the Texas waffle, can t really mess that up and I always look forward to that in Texas. TL;DR: Elevator doesn t work, pool doesn t work, breakfast stinks, staff wasn t good or bad and the rooms are gross. I will not be coming back, and I will definitely be warning folks at my company to avoid this specific Hilton at all costs.

To be fair the staff cannot fix a broken elevator, but management can have it fixed so guests do not have to climb stairs. I received the email earlier today the elevator was out. And I could cancel without penalty. They had time to have an elevator repair man arrive and fix the elevator before my 6pm arrival... Or not.. You decide. The air-conditioning in my room was going full blast.. None of the buttons on the unit worked to adjust it. The nice front desk attendant took down my room number and offered for maintenance to look at the unit. I waited for about thirty minutes for maintenance to show up... I went to dinner. I cant tell you as of this typing if maintenance arrived in my room or not... Alas, the first world problems we must endure...

Possibly one of the worst Hiltons hotels I ve stayed and we stayed really often my husband is a Diamond member, the elevator is still out, as I read it has been out for months now. Elevator is out. Would have appreciated more than one email 3 weeks before my visit to let me know it was still out and maybe offer a discount for one of the other hilton locations instead of those jacking up their prices. No elevator and I was on the 5th floor so I got the pleasure of lugging everything upstairs. Now I question how does housekeeping keep the rooms clean? How do they get the carts on the floors? Faucet was leaking and gym equipment was not working. Kind of petty but last straw was the bagels were not even cut. Its a small thing but really cherry on top of the cake when you have to deal with everything else. Will not stay here again. We checked in late and were tired. Find out they were being remodeled, so elevators were out and the room type I booked and paid for was not available. RENEE was super kind and accomodating. He made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible despite the circumstances. WHAT AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE STAYING HERE. Upon arrival, the receptionist told us that she would respect a price for us and since we paid by credit card she charged us much more in the end. We complained to him and he told us that the next morning we should deal with the manager because supposedly she couldnt do anything. The next day we went to look for the manager, she didnt want to show her face and the other receptionist who was on duty ended up assisting us, in the end they didnt give us a solution. The hotel is in terrible condition, and they changed our rooms twice because they really smelled very bad. They have a complete lack of customer service. The elevators do not work because they are being remodeled. I recommend that if you have the opportunity to stay here, MISS IT.

Hotel under renovation and elevators were inoperative. I would expect to be warned on the website during the reservation process of these facts. There were no notes or warnings on the website-- corporate please fix this. That unfortunate news was relayed by an email at 9am the next morning. By 9 am, we were already driving to Laredo. It would have been more beneficial to receive the email within hours after completing the reservation instead of the next morning. The email stated the inadequacies and to call to cancel without penalty. The staff did not tell us of this policy at check-in. Worst Hilton Property ever Hampton Inn when we arrived the front driveway had a lot of trucks in front and water everywhere!! Elevators did not work and we had the 5th floor, we finally get to the 5th floor and it smelled of cigarette smoke, get in the room and it even smelled even worse cigarette smoke and 5th floor was a smoking floor and unfortunately front desk did not share that info or ask, ash tray left in our room with cigarette butts in it, ask for an extra pillow while checking in and was told they don t offer that. I went downstairs once again down 5 stairs and asked why the room smelled like cigarettes and then told it was a smoking floor, they did let me switch rooms to the 3rd floor so back up and down the stairs, room on the 3rd floor not much cleaner, no refrigerator or microwave I guess you only get the refrigerator and microwave if you smoke and stay on the 5th floor, remote control for the tv did not have a back on it so the batteries kept falling out, bathroom light kept coming on and off , cheap shampoo, conditioner and soap. Very disappointed with this Hampton and can not believe this is a Hilton property, should be called a Motel 6 actually not fair to Motel 6 !! Should be a fire hazard to smoke in any room ! Seriously you really don t think you can keep the cigarette smoke from going to other floors of the hotel !! Would give negative 5 on the rooms !! I paid 209.53 someone checking in was told 108.00 and I looked on Priceline it was 98.00 , I m a Diamond member I guess nothing for loyalty. Parking area had trucks , dumpster and a lift for signage I had to park in an area that was dark and not sure if it was on Hilton property and it was raining !! Did not feel safe walking up and down the stairs I had no idea who could of been in the hallway or in the stairwell area !! First of all no one from Hilton advised me that the elevator was out of order. On that I did some forum research and found out that the elevator at the Hampton Inn Laredo Texas has been out of order for closer to a year. Why did no one let me know. Myself and my wife had a very hard time climbing the stairs. I m disabled and use a cane authorized by my doctor with disability plates for my vehicle as well. Secondly my room smelled like wet moldy smell. The water was so cold in the shower in the morning 2/25/23. The staff when I called to complain told me that the boiler was being worked on and it was left off the whole night. Several of my bowling teammates had the same issue. The front desk did not help at all with our luggage taking it up the stairs to our muggy room. We were very disappointed with Hiltons Hampton Inn Laredo Tx.

Received an email morning of my outbound travel stating that the first floor is under construction and elevator is out of order. When I arrived to check in, the employee was very rude when I explained that I am disabled and cannot carry my luggage upstairs. I also suffer from PTSD using stairs from a prior accident involving stairs 2 years ago. The lady rolled her eyes and basically shrugged her shoulders saying they did their job by informing me via email. Keep in mind, the email arrived too late to cancel my reservation and/or book another property. When I asked to speak to the Manager, she pointed to the business card rack and said, Theres her card. Call her yourself. Ive been a Hilton Rewards member for almost 20 years. First room they gave me had a dirty bath towel hanging on the door. One of the bedside table was missing. Instead, there was mold on the wet carpet. They moved me to another room. Better, but the next day, I had no hot water to shower. What is most upsetting is that most of these issues have been ongoing. I booked my room in December. They knew then that the elevator wasnt working. But they waited til my check in date, Feb. 24th, to inform me. This is totally unacceptable.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! We are Hilton Diamond members & are very disappointed on the money spent on this hotel. The manager was rude & stated there was no one to talk to above her. I was notified the day of check-in in that the hotel was under construction and that there was no working elevators. To accommodate for inconvenience they moved us from 3rd floor to 2nd. Once I showed up for check in they hadnt made the room change, and was still booked on 3rd floor. They only had 1 room key per room. When checking in, I requested extra towels to make it easier for service, so they wouldnt have to walk up to the room(since elevators were down), they informed me you can only request towels during house keeping hours, which was from 9am to 3pm. Isabella was rude, short and very bothered to help. Also the key for stairways didnt always work, there is no air-conditioner in the stairway or hallway areas, so not much fun walking 3 stories for a wedding in hot humid Laredo. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!Just looked at reviews, turns out theyve been under construction for several months and to think they barely notified us the day of check-in, switch bait tactics.

The hotel was under renovation and I was informed the elevator was not working. I was traveling for work in the Texas heat and discovered the room did not have a refrigerator. The staff was nice, and they offered to help me carry my bags up the stairs. The main reason for my review is because of a billing issue. I checked in on Saturday for a 2 night stay, but work kept me there longer and I had to extend 3 more nights. I was not informed of a rate change, so I was shocked when I received the bill by email after checking out with a 70% price increase. I travel extensively for work and almost exclusively stay at Hilton hotels, and have never had this happen before. I contacted Hilton member support who told me they would contact the hotel, but as of now, I have not been contacted.

Overall stay was okay with the small challenges at this sit. It is near the highway but the noise is not evident until your outside. The elevator is currently out for maintenance and the hot-tub is also broken. Room didnt have a mini-fridge so that was a bummer for drinks. Having known this ahead of time I would of booked elsewhere but I like my rooms to be accessed through the inside and not outside.

This place is a dump. They try to charge you 280 $/night while the elevators aren t working because they are undergoing renovations (the place caught on fire). Also the place smells moldy and the AC units are not working in various locations. It looks like all the recent reviews are mentioning the same issues. I understand working through issues, but this hotel is stealing peoples money with the rates they are charging. Like other reviewers, I only stayed here because other locations were full. I guess that s how this hotel manages to stay afloat.

At this point, if you can avoid staying here Id say do so. Unless your traveling light and dont mind stairs since the elevator cant be used at this time. Renovations are being done on the entire first floor. Signs of a fire from an A/C unit on the second floor. Rooms are limited on the second floor so you may have to stay on the 3rd. My issue was I was given a room with no refrigerator/microwave, when I asked for at least a refrigerator (after having checked in and rested for the first night) I was told Id have to switch to a room that had a microwave/refrigerator already in it, Unfortunately it was at the opposite end of the hallway. The internet does not work well if at all and the phone in my room did not work either. So, all things considered, once these issues are corrected this will be a nice place to stay. Just not now

We stayed here this past weekend and we were really disappointed. The first floor of the hotel was burned recently. So because of this there was no elevators working and they didnt have hot water. They also would not provide extra towels when asked. Breakfast was supposed to be included but the kitchen was closed until Tuesday. We stayed in July and October of 2021 and gave them the benefit of the doubt although surprised they where able to remain under the Hilton brand. This was the only option for our team to stay last week May 9-13, 2022. One of our rooms was flooded due to a plumbing week. We spent several hours trying to resolve and get into another room. We had to call Hilton honors to get this resolved as the local management was incompetent to bring a solution. We were told that the general manager, Leslie D. Garcia was notified but would only respond via text since she was not on duty. I dont think she understands the responsibility of her title. We had a hard time getting a new room and if was not for the the Hilton honors team we would have not gotten this resolved with no place to stay. We paid almost double for rooms that we rented a few months ago. I am not sure how this hotel can remain under the Hilton brand. Rooms are musty and more than likely filled with mold. They are currently packed with state funded rooms for Texas DPS protecting our borders but wonder if our state law enforcement officers are protected from the mold in this place. Hilton and the state need to do an immediate inspection.

We stayed for 5 days and we did not have breakfast service, they put up a sign apologizing for not having breakfast and there was juice, coffee, cereal, yogurt, and bread. At first the bread was good but as the days went by they did not change it and the bread was stale. You have to request room cleaning one day in advance so that they can schedule it for you. If you request it on the same day, they may not give you the service because the services are already scheduled. As for the service, it was good and The facilities are acceptable.

This is a great location, however hotel is very outdated, one elevator was out of service and the other one was sus. In the room there was a coffee maker but no cups, the restroom stopped flushing in the middle of the night. I was locked out at 3am, keycard was not working, replacement was not working, night audits master key didnt work. It was a makfunction in the lock. If we hadnt banged on door to wake my daughter and neighbor I dont know where we would have slept. Probably on the couch in the foyer. This was an unacceptable experience for the price they charge. One of the two elevators is dead and seems to have been for a long time, and the other one is so slow its not worth using. Trying to book a Hilton hotel online for an upcoming trip, and the whole already slow, miserable, internet connection seems to have died. I gave up, started to go to bed and the carpet by the bed is soaking wet...and looks like it has been for a long time. There is no coffeemaker, no fridge, no microwave in the room and also no cups - you have to ask at the desk for a water cup. Seriously. For a water cup. This is easily the shabbiest, most decrepit Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. Its even located next to a place that rents port-a-johns, for that extra shabby ambiance. If I ran the Hampton Inn chain, I would come by tomorrow morning with a crane and remove the sign before anyone else stays in this dump and sullies the Hampton name. Avoid at all costs.
