It was a decent experience. I enjoyed a mid strength beer, a Turkey sandwich, and some slaw. The turkey was tender, juicy, and succulent. Other than that, it was just turkey and bread. This place only has two varieties of sauce.

It was our first experience at Rudys approximately 15 days ago and the cashier went out of his way to serve us and give us samples to try to decide our food, he was friendly and recommended the options. We ordered brisket, brisket loin, beans, corn and everything was very nice and delicious, the bread to complement and dressings from the bar as well as various vegetables that they have to serve to taste. They have a variety of sodas. We will definitely return to this Rudys since the one in Phar, Tx did not do so well with the service.

I absolutely love Rudy s egg and brisket tacos and the usual lady at the window is always super nice to me. Today I called in an order for tacos at 9:56 am (I know that sounds late) but my boyfriend and I were already in line but the line was taking long and we didn t want to miss the tacos so I called. The lady on the phone said the tacos would be ready in 15-20 minutes so we got out of line and waited. We get to the speaker box and tell the lady on the intercom that we have an order under my name and the lady said oh that ll be in the front I told my boyfriend to pull forward because that s what I always do and the lady at the window said again that order will be in the front I told her I had called the order in and every time I do that I just tell the lady on the speaker and she tells me to pull forward. And the lady at the window just kept saying oh well they haven t given me anything she didn t even check or anything just kept saying they haven t given me anything and then finally she goes to check and another person finishes attending to us and then tells us that I stead of us receding the 4 breakfast tacos that they can only give us 2. I am so annoyed. Rudy s has always been good to me and today they were not. I miss the lady that s usually at the window. : )

A few years ago, it was good....but lately, what irks me the most, is that the select few times that I have craved BBQ its been a real disappointment. You pay a pretty penny to expect fresh, good food, and all you get is reheated hard dry brisket. Come in people, the public is paying you good money for good food. Ordered baked potatoes at drive thru. Lady said they didnt have potatoes ready and that it would take 30 minutes for them to have more potatoes. I waited outside 35 minutes. I proceeded to go back to drive thru and order baked potatoes only to be told AGAIN they didnt have them ready! Why not just say you dont have potatoes!!! Dont waist peoples time like that.

Wow. I am absolutely blown away. This food was absolutely incredible. I ordered a nice plethora of meats, some potato salad, some banana pudding, and 2 types of barbecue sauces. Every single aspect of this meal was phenomenal. The brisket (ordered moist) was simply the best brisket I have ever had. The flavor was magnificent, not to mention it was cooked perfectly (which takes an exceptional amount of precision and often comes out dry). The baby back ribs were so tender I literally smiled after I took a bite. I don t even typically order sausage links but boy am I happy I did, prepared stupendously and paired perfectly with each barbecue sauce. The potato salad was unbelievable and of the perfect texture, and the banana pudding put me in a euphoric trance. I m bringing home some sauces for my friends to try and I am going to send pictures and inform my father, the man who raised me, that this place is unbelievable and figure out a way for him to partake, he simply has to. I typically only leave reviews for places that fall below the standards, but this place is on the complete other side of the spectrum. My compliments of the highest degree.

Rosa!!!! To start, Rosa was a phenomenal host. She thoroughly explained each item on the menu in depth. She made sure we were equipped with a pleasant eating experience while we dined out in the window area. It had been more than three years Ive been to Rudys and this was the worst meal Ive ever had at a BBQ place I ordered moist brisket (point)and got (flat) chicken was dry sausages seemed cheap sausage everything was at room temperature the only thing I enjoyed was the potato salad and bread Rudys needs to offer some kind of brisket gravy if the cooks arent keeping there brikets juicy. luckily the staff was nice but the food I could not express myself any better, people that arent aware of a good BBQ should really taste like dont know what they are eating.

Knowledge is important when customers asks for MOIST or DRY brisket. I always ask for Moist Brisket Without Rub & Always get the wrong brisket when it s DRY. So who s at fault here? Rudys is one of the best BBQ restaurants in Laredo. I recommend the moist brisket, baby back ribs, and cheese sausage. Busting with savory smokey flavor. The bark on the brisket is legit amazing and the moist cuts are so juicey. They have delicious sides , soft drinks and beer. Definitely worth checking out if you are a local and havent tried it yet, or just passing through. Im a regular patron and have enjoyed their great quality BBQ for years. Enjoy!

Love how they shared the return of my Uncle Sgt Garcia for his return home after 70 plus years of being MIA POW in the Korean war on their sign. Good food, friendly staff and great service. I had to get the Rudys BBQ Rub to take home for my personal use. Definitely recommend it.

I m going to start off by saying this food is really good love the baby back ribs the brisket is really moist very flavorful, but it is just a little expensive. I purchased eight pieces of baby back rib, a full baked potato with meat and a small cup burnt with a banana pudding, dessert and it was $47 The restaurant is really clean and the staff is really polite. If you say you are going for the first time they give you a free sampler so you can try the meat, beans and corn cream. The house sauces are delicious. The weather was very cold. Parking: Roomy no problem, although the takeaway line can be long. Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible, they have a ramp on the side. Don t order the prime rib, it s never cooked correctly and too expensive for what they serve. It s not just one time, it s multiple experiences over the span of two years. Hadn t been to Rudy s in a while (2 months) so I went on the evening of 04/26/23. I ordered a lean brisket sandwich and a large drink. Order came to almost $13. The sandwich was fine, but the size/portions have been seriously downgraded. A brisket sandwich used to fill me up; this time it was like a child s portion, very small bun and much less meat than before. No way was this tiny sandwich worth the price I paid. After eating, I left hungry and had to go home and make myself something to eat. My two star review is solely due to the seriously downsized portions. I won t pay that price for such a small sandwich again. Sorry Rudy.

This place has some seriously good food! The wait times are very short, even at the drive-thru. For the type of food they sell, I would expect the drive-thru to take long. I have waited, at most, 8 minutes, and there were about 4 cars in front of me. I highly recommend this restaurant. It has simple, yet delicious, quality food.
