I ve been to this location many times and everything was great which is why I returned. Now here dealing with the fake waitress calling herself MJ I m guessing because she knows about the drama and favoritism she s doing towards certain customers is very unacceptable. They also have lost a great customer. What has Laredo Texas become? This actually used to be a great place to visit.

I have been going to place since I was a kid, which goes to show they must be doing something right because they have been in business for so long. From their juicy steaks to their delicious mexican recipes, not to mention their irresistible, gigantic fried mushrooms! The only problem with this place is what to order! Haha! I must cought this place on a bad day. Service was slow, heck I stood at the front desk for several minutes before I even got seated. The service continued to be marginal at best. Food: Chips were cold and greasy, and the monterey chicken was just blah. Everyone here and ppl in the know said that it was great. Not my experience. However Ill give them credit where credit is due, tortilla soup was great, and the mixed drinks were served properly although very very slow to get to the table. Parking: Very poor and very dark

I came to Laredo for a week for work training (my first time in this town). A coworker suggested this restuarant. During my one week stay i visited this restuarant twice. It was delicious and the staff was nice. We were tended by Mundo on both visits to the restuarant. He was such a great server and always greeted us with a smile, made us laugh a bit and he made our experience great. The food was delicious I tried the dos amigos plate. Great restuarant with great drinks and food. Thank you!

Look at my plate of food and tell me does it taste as good as it looks?...Its better! Two reasons, the taste brought me to my childhood memories dining with my parents in the 1970s when there were once actual steak houses and $14.99. Where else are you going to get a Ribeye, shrimp , baked potato , and a side salad for $14.99. Ill tell you, in Laredo Texas. If your visiting Laredo this is a must stop to eat, the food is how food looks and should taste. Also on weekends theres always a live band playing to work off the steak and beer . Its my first night here in Laredo and pretty much Ill be returning here till I return home. Im not going to find a better restaurant than here.

Nothing like local home style cooking! Their steak and shrimp with a loaded baked potato are probably the most requested dish. Went for a birthday celebration and all I have to say is that Charlies Corona never fails to impress. Hot Fried zucchini, Fried mushrooms and the steak plates are second to none. It is a place with more than 30 years of operation where Tex Mex food is offered with very good seasoning. We tried the special of the day which was roast beef accompanied by baked potatoes and bread with butter with very good quality of food. At the start they offer you tortilla chips with a very tasty sauce. The place doesnt even attract attention from the outside but it is very clean. We went at lunch time and the service was very friendly and diligent. Definitely a highly recommended place that I would go to again.

Nice live guitar music. The one night I was there the waiter brought me a drink and didnt return for almost 15 minutes. So I left. One of the other waiters clearly thought I might be trying to leave without paying. In fact I had to ask him to let me pay my bill. Maybe just a one-off, but thats what happened. Too bad. It had a cozy atmosphere. Probably wont go back. Something is wrong there.
